If we are living in the 1000 year reign today, why is Christ not ruling with a rod of iron? If I understand the scriptures concerning the 1000 year reign, it sounds like the ruling government will be a theocracy, today the world is a far cry from a theocracy with a king ruling with a rod of iron.

I thought the postmillennial view was that satan is bound now as we are living in the 1000 year reign today.

It's not the fact that he "may" devour someone, it's the fact that he walks about. The fact is, he is not bound at this time.

Yes the wages of sin is death, my Bible says satan will be locked away at the second coming for 1000 years not until then, then after the 1000 years he will be loosed a little while to gather Gog and Magog to battel the Lord, then he will be cast into the lake of fire. This is death that awaits him.

My Bible says satan is a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour , and another scripture about Christ casting out demons into swine, if they were all locked up is that scripture wrong. ,

I think the angels that left their first estate are locked away but the scripture doesn't say satan is with them.

Yes they are two separate events but they happen at the same time. The pre-trib rapture is only a hope of the masses. The second coming is the rapture.

Our eschatological beliefs have nothing to do with whether or not we are taken in the "supposed pre-trib rapture". If there is a pre-trib rapture all Christians will be taken.

That's my point, the pre-trib doctrine teaches the end time as a 7 year period complete with charts and diagrams of how the "tribulation period" is going to be. Even though no Christians are on Earth to witness the events.

Lets look at your list, world wide chaos and then the arrival of the a/c. People have been playing pin the tail on the a/c for thousands of years with no luck. The Temple, if you see the Temple under construction are you going to agree "no pre-trib rapture". A new Temple on the mount would be something we all could recognize.

Marv I'm sure you could name an event that, if said event happened would make you say it's to late for a pre-trib rapture now.

What event needs to happen for the pre-tribbers to say, wow I was wrong, there will be no pre-trib rapture.
