Nope, here is the proof, Gen 1:28 And God blessed them. And God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth." No dominion over fruit and nuts. Sweet pies, ergo, are unbiblical. (yeah, yeah, no such word, I know) correct me if i am wrong but " fruitful" could be understood as " being full of friut" before you subdue anything

let me be the first Gen 1:29 Gen 2: 9 1 Corin 8:8 you are right about berry not in there by name but I am pretty sure in is covered

i was not trying to quote any verses I did not mean to twist it around from a biblical stand point. i was pointing toward the fact that when a woman marries she leaves her place of residence and that part of her life and in a since leaves the family to move in with the husband. Sometimes far off away from parents and siblings. The only people i have ever met that uses a hyphen have all been in the last 20 years before that I had not met any one using a hyphen.i had thought is was past of the womens Liberation movement.

maybe we should have a run off on the single nomination then we could have 10 choices to vote on instead of five .

while in the sepulchre Jesus left and went to heaven no one saw him. they saw him after he came back to life. Um, not exactly maybe: 17Jesus said to her, “Stop clinging to Me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I ascend to My Father and your Father, and My God and your God.’” you right im wrong I had not read john lately let me restate what i think. It was mistake to say he left while in tomb. However this verse show him speaking to her ( mary M. ) but I don think she or anyone saw him ascend at this specific time. the Acts verse i think may be correct for rapture. my other statement refers to rev. which is an active imagination i have.

so it seems that taking the mans last name with the hyphen should not offend him, or is it even though a person is marrying him he has no say. Does this affect any biblical laws or rule or guidelines i dont know how this landed under humor instead of general discussion
-
I hope my Q did not stop the discussion of this topic.

i have met some ladies who use their married name; a hyphen and their maiden name as one name. Is this wrong did they not leave their parents to marry a man. i know they say to honor the name of mom or dad but seems they can honor the husband without the hyphen and also can honor parents without the hyphen. what does people here think about this.

I admire every single one of them. they are doing work Id like to do. I only speak English; being natural born I learned about have of it; and you have to be bilingual from what I have been told. and know Gods word probably better than I do now.

this may very well be the first step in forcing this behavior everyone -
Not at all surprising, since moon pie isn't really a pie. BTW, was any form of pasture pastry listed? good one made me think a second before it it my brain.

I am thinking at this specific time this took place they simply meant he will be back in a few minutes the same way you just saw him leave. I not sure this refers to the later time in Jesus life of returning for his people. of course I have no biblical training as many here do.

As already stated no one knows. however we are told to watch for signs. mankind has sought and found many things about the human body. Science has been seeking to know everything and are getting close therefore it will be soon As Ecc says they will not complete their goal. http://www.cbc.ca/news/technology/story/2012/06/13/human-microbiome-project.html http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-2108209/Russian-entrepreneur-aims-transplant-human-mind-robot-body-10-years.html Ecc 8:17 17 Then I beheld all the work of God, that a man cannot find out the work that is done under the sun: because though a man labour to seek it out, yet he shall not find it; yea farther; though a wise man think to know it, yet shall he not be able to find it.

Ya...I guess we (humans, that is) all had what we figgered was a pretty accurate image of Christ's first coming, too. Lol. I think yours is as good as any. 'White horses,' Names on 'thighs,' etc, all have allegorical meanings; do you envision an actual white horse, GE? No reason that it might not literally come to pass, also, tho. God ( Jesus ) is a spirit and can or can not be seen upon his whim so I think he can make animals ( horses ) that can seen or not at his whim. We are told by the word our spirit ( not human body ) goes to heaven. we are told animals will be in heaven. I think there is no earthly body man or beast in heaven, i think every thing in heaven has a spiritual body not earthly body. so yes I believe Jesus can actually create his return so that we see him and his army coming in the air as the word states.

well when i read v 3 I disagree with you. in v3 there is a tree, a forest, and ax ( not a carving knife ) and it says with an ax so the work was not carved it was axed. and he related these trees to an image i.e. their dead and can do no harm or good same as an image. The word I am referencing is translated as 'workman'. The actual Hebrew word is Charash and means a craftsman, artist or graver. A graver carves or engraves. This relates to a law which has been repeated multiple times in scripture. Not to make a molded or graven image. The surrounding people practiced pagan religions and would chop down a tree to make a graven image, and decorate with gold and silver. Jeremiah 10:2 Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them. Again Jeremiah 10:5 They [are] upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also [is it] in them to do good. Very simply, the verses are describing the heathens who make graven images, idols made of wood. And that these idols have no power, can't move but must be carried around. Can not speak and can not do good or evil. They are just carved lumps of wood, not gods. Jeremiah 10:10 But the LORD [is] the true God, he [is] the living God, and an everlasting king: at his wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide his indignation. 11 Thus shall ye say unto them, The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth, [even] they shall perish from the earth, and from under these heavens. The verses go on to describe the One True God, compared to these carved wooden idol gods. Q just a note, its hard to change my mind once I think I understand a particular subject. It really makes so much more since now that I have shed my old view of this passage and accepted your interpretation, thank you
