I know in Gen 7:23 And every living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noah only remained alive, and they that were with him in the ark. the birds fly only in our atmosphere and here it is called heaven. and 2nd Corin 12;2-4 I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven. 3 And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) 4 How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter. so the third heaven is paradise. In between Gen 7 heaven and 2nd Cor 12 is outer space could this be the 2nd heaven cause also have Deu 10: 14 Behold, the heaven and the heaven of heavens is the LORD'S thy God, the earth also, with all that therein is. now we see a heaven a of heavens so could this people have visited paradise ( 3rd heaven) and not Deu 10 ( heaven of heavens ) so what say ye I am afraid I don't understand your question or challenge? More of a question. Paul was caught up to the 3rd heaven where he heard words not lawful to speak. must be where Gods throne is Which could match Deu 10: 14 heaven of heavens Abraham should also be in heaven where Gods throne is. ( 3rd heaven ) however In luke 16: 22 the poor man went to abrahams bosom. should be heaven (3rd heaven ) The verse says the rich man saw Lazarus and Abraham. I dont understand how the rich man could see into heaven where Gods throne is supose to be from hell. maybe the NDE's are not going into actual heaven( 3rd heaven ) You are confused a little here, my friend. What Christ spoke of was a story about Lazarus and the Rich Man, like a parable, to explain what death before His resurrection is like. From what I remember, Paradise was called Abraham's Bosom, and Hell was called Hades. The great gulf between could never be crossed. What is to come is the Lake of Fire (Revelation 20:14), which both death and Hell will be cast into. This means that both hell and Abraham's Bosom are temporal. When Christ died, He enter the center of the earth (Hell and Abraham's Bosom) and preached to those there, leaving with the keys to death and hell (Revelation 1:18), victorious, and salvation in Christ began. You are right im confused in this area. I thank you for helping me get on track you have explained it very well and it makes more since. thats the main reason I am hear to sort out my confusion on several things in the Bible. thanks you one light

What about this 2nd Cor 5:8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be PRESENT with the Lord. That's Paul debating with himself about staying here on earth in this physical body to serve the Lord, or being in heaven with the Lord. It has nothing to do with NDE's that I can see... just expressing Paul's longing to be with the Lord. The reason I put that verse to you is a lot of people believe if they die before A rapture or before the Lord returns they go straight to heaven to be with the Lord. So if i or you were to die today where do we go to wait on the judgement, before we can enter heaven.

I have read many nde's and it seems or appears that unsaved people see and talk to Jesus. I dont under stand this. Some say they were on the way to hell when they thought or called on the Jesus and was pulled away from there some say they went straight and spoke with Jesus even though they were not saved. It makes no sense si I am trying to get some understanding.
  9. Yes, He does and He may do this, but He also has the ability to implant in us the full understanding of all of life so can can see things as He sees them. I have thought about having my memories erased, but if He did that, it would mean that what had happened was too bad to explain or understand, sort of hiding things from us. I do not believe God is like that at all, but would rather enlighten us as to why. I agree with you I dont like the removal of certain memories but I do believe he will make a way so as not to remember a persons child did not make it so that was just a guess as how it will happen. i think we all have to make a guess at this point. we wont know til we get their.
  10. What life would a person have in heaven if they constantly remember they are the only one of their family that made it to heaven. would you like being in heaven if you remember your children are not there with you. God has the power to cleanse the memories he wants cleansed and leave others.
  11. I agree with you GDEmoss Eph 2 11 Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands; 12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: 13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. 14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; 15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; 19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; 20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; 21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: 22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.
  12. Here are some verses I found that may apply to this thread. i dont see the 70 or 80 year period mentioned it could be but i dont see it I do agree with the free will of man given by God ( Jesus ). Each person is in a particular life to learn something from our experiences. this world is bad and full of evil things and people we have to endure Gen 6:3 And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years. Ecc 9 2 All things come alike to all: there is one event to the righteous, and to the wicked; to the good and to the clean, and to the unclean; to him that sacrificeth, and to him that sacrificeth not: as is the good, so is the sinner; and he that sweareth, as he that feareth an oath. 3 This is an evil among all things that are done under the sun, that there is one event unto all: yea, also the heart of the sons of men is full of evil, and madness is in their heart while they live, and after that they go to the dead. 4 For to him that is joined to all the living there is hope: for a living dog is better than a dead lion. 5 For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten. 6 Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; neither have they any more a portion for ever in any thing that is done under the sun. 11 I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all. 1 Peter 4 12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: 13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. 1 Peter 5 9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. 10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. Isa 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things. matt 18: 7 Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!

  14. Acts 15 11 If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron? 12 For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law. 12 For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law. The priesthood changed the law changed verse 12 above 30 Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith. The people through faith will be caught up in the air the new law, new priest, new covenant, Gospel of grace we wont go through the tribulation The people by faith will not be caught up in the air and by the law, old priest, old covenant will go through tribulation
  15. Acts 13 Act 13:44 And the next sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word of God. Act 13:45 But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with envy, and spake against those things which were spoken by Paul, contradicting and blaspheming. Act 13:46 Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles. Act 13:47 For so hath the Lord commanded us, [saying], I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth. Act 13:48 And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed. Act 13:49 And the word of the Lord was published throughout all the region. Act 13:50 But the Jews stirred up the devout and honourable women, and the chief men of the city, and raised persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and expelled them out of their coasts. Act 13:51 But they shook off the dust of their feet against them, and came unto Iconium. Act 13:52 And the disciples were filled with joy, and with the Holy Ghost. Acts 15 5 But there rose up certain of the sect of the Pharisees which believed, saying, That it was needful to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses. 6 And the apostles and elders came together for to consider of this matter. 7 And when there had been much disputing, Peter rose up, and said unto them, Men and brethren, ye know how that a good while ago God made choice among us, that the Gentiles by my mouth should hear the word of the gospel, and believe. 8 And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us; 9 And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith. 10 Now therefore why tempt ye God, to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear? 11 But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved, even as they. Heb 7 11 If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron? 12 For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law. 13 For he of whom these things are spoken pertaineth to another tribe, of which no man gave attendance at the altar. 14 For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Juda; of which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood. 15 And it is yet far more evident: for that after the similitude of Melchisedec there ariseth another priest, 16 Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life. 17 For he testifieth, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec. 18 For there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof. 19 For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God. 20 And inasmuch as not without an oath he was made priest: 21 (For those priests were made without an oath; but this with an oath by him that said unto him, The Lord sware and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec:) 22 By so much was Jesus made a surety of a better testament. 23 And they truly were many priests, because they were not suffered to continue by reason of death: 24 But this man, because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood. 25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them. 26 For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens; 27 Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people's: for this he did once, when he offered up himself. 28 For the law maketh men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was since the law, maketh the Son, who is consecrated for evermore. Phill 3:9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: Eph 2 11 Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands; 12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: 13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. 14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; 15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; Rom3 19 Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. 20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. 21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; 22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: 28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law. 29 Is he the God of the Jews only? is he not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also: 30 Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith. 31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law. 19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; 20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; 21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: 22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit. I had not seen these verses so I wanted add them
