You can ours. (Minnesota) They are constantly fighting with other birds. They hog the bird feeders. They rob the nests of other birds, destroying eggs and killing the young. They're winged barbarians. So I hear. We have Magpies instead which are do the same. So people say they are beautiful because they are a striking black and white with dark shiny blue on wings and tail. But they are commonplace and pests here. The Scrub Jays and Steller's Jays live in the west but not in our area. Right now we are over run with crows which are so bad that no other birds nest here any more. We took down our feeders and birdbath to protect them and because the crows kept leaving bird body parts in the bird bath. Jays, Magpies and crows are all corvids and related.

Thanks, chloe, we have checked several times. If you can find out the name of your non toxic stuff, we would appreciate it. We were told that we need to find their ant hole and so far it eludes us. They are all around our back yard in a continuous marching line on hoses and fence. Our dogs are 6 and 11 pounds. No one has guaranteed their safety so far. They tend to lick everything and eat bugs. But I remember our 7 pound mama cat eating grasshoppers with a leg hanging out of each side of her mouth. She raised her kittens on them. But we didn't spray our yard back then. So if you have small cats that eat bugs, it might be safe for our little dogs. We never had to worry when we had 14-20 pound dogs. We even tried the agriculture home extension office for advice.

Off Topic, Sevenseas, average life for a Dane is half that--8 yr. Love your Bluejay. We are bird watchers, and they are a rare treat in the far west.

When my friend was saved she became so tender hearted that she even refused to kill the black widow spiders that came into her house. Not me. Pests, especially dangerous ones, will not live in my house. These last few years we have had tiny baby red ants, my husband calls them sugar ants, that have over run our house. They like our bath tub and our adjoining bed room where I usualy leave a glass of juice by my bed. I wake up with ants floating in my juice and dozens more on the glass and bed side table. They have even been in our bed. Since we have tiny dogs and can't use insectisides, I have been spreading cinnamon around the stand. This is a tip that I found on this site. It works well. Cayane also works as does vinegar for the tub. We can't find where the nest is but they come in through our furnace duct work and even through our closed windows, they are so tiny. Other people in our area complain of it too. The entamologists say it is because our winters have been so mild, but this year we have had several weeks between 0 and 10 degrees F. As soon as it warmed to 2 days in the 50s we had ants again. HELP!!!!! They are not harmful but I draw the line at sleeping with them and drinking them, especially since the live ones on my glass quickly transfer to my hand and my face. EEEEEE yuk! Changing to a closed bottle of water did not help, either. They come anyway.

She had no understanding of spiritual things. 1 Cor. 2:11-12. She had demonstrated disdain for the bible as well as for christians; they told us not to buy property near a church because of the resale value--no one wanted to live near a church or a cemetary. It was both her words, her confession, and her attitudes that led me to that suspicion. She was civil and did the propper thing most of the time, and even tollerated someone calling the Episcopal priest to her death bed. At that time she repeated the Lord's prayer, and I suspect she mouthed the words to the hail Mary afterwards. We hope she had called on the name of the Lord with all her heart. We are not aware of any genuine confession of faith or change of attitude. At the time they had joined the churches they were just social clubs to them, like a country club, that they had joined so he could get clients; He said the Elks club had got him more clients so he preferred it. Appearances meant everything to them The expression I heard most often was " what would the neighbors say." They became very embittered toward the Episcopal church which had billed them for pledged tithes at some time in the 50s. It had been 50 years since she had attended any church prior to her death. She heard the Gospel at a funeral and came away complaining about that church because it was scaring people by telling them about hell. She complained about how long the gospel message took at our son's wedding. I am trying very hard to mention symptoms and still honor her. She tried to appear proper and to be fair. But there was no love in the home. She was usually civil and did her best, I am sure. People who have not known God's love and forgiveness cannot possibly give it to others. But even the heathen love their own children...... The book of 1 John was written to tell if we are Christians and to discern those who are not. So it can better answer the general question, how can you tell if a person is born again? It is by its perameters that I had to eventually arrived at the strong suspicion that she was not born again. I had never met people who were so generally anti christian and heathen in their attitudes prior to our marriage. The difficulty I had in loving those who persecuted me was what led me to fully surrender my life to Christ. And I was able to eventually demonstrate God's love to her. She was a great blessing to me when my own dad died and she helped me to make funeral arrangements. I do sincerely hope that she gave her life to Christ on her death bed. At best I knew her to have a form of religion but to deny the power there of.

My late mother in law also believed in living her life according to that scripture which she had shortened to "Do unto others." Having been raise a Catholic and joined both Baptist and Episcopal churches, she still had a rudimentry idea of Christianity but had never been born again that I know. So she had the satisfaction of knowing that she " did unto others", whatever that was. Her god was her pretty things which she stated was her greatest treasure. It is so sad that they may be all she will ever have. Therefore we must give the more earnest heed to the things we have heard, lest we drift away. For if the word spoken through angels proved steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just reward, HOW SHALL WE ESCAPE IF WE NEGLECT SO GREAT A SALVATION WHICH AT THE FIRST BEGAN TO BE SPOKEN BY THE LORD, and was confirmed to us by those who heard Him. Hebrews 2:1-3, & 12-15 BEWARE, BRETHERN, LEST THERE BE IN ANY OF YOU AN EVIL HEART OF UNBELIEF IN DEPARTING FROM THE LIVING GOD; but exhort one anothe daily, while it is called "TODAY', lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. For we have become partakers of Christ if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end, while it is said: TODAY, IF YOU WILL HEAR HIS VOICE, DO NOT HARDEN YOUR HEARTS AS IN THE REBELLION." As long as we are alive, we are still able to humble ourselves and repent. The Lord is near tho those who have a broken heart, and saves such as have a contrite spirit. Psm 34:18. No one has to live an empty worthless life.

How to use the quote feature on the boards? (Q&A)
Willa replied to GoldenEagle's topic in General Discussion
OK, GE, I have a samsung galaxy note 10.1 pad. The only blue twitter box is below and there is nothing yellow to the left or anywhere near it. I can't use smiley faces either--no access to them. Nor can I copy and paste. When I use the quote, it quotes the whole thing and if I try to edit it, unless I remove the middle it won't post. So I can't quote from other sources either. I don't know if the problem is my pad, the app that worthy sends to my pad, or the user (me), since I still wouldn't have a yellow box with a W in it if you hadn't got tired of looking at my shadow. So just call me "out of the loop". -
does love your enemy mean the christian should avoid supporting wars?
Willa replied to a topic in General Discussion
Sylvia, God is love, but He is also righteous and just. He is very patient and offers every opportunity for wicked nations to repent, but eventually He does judge nations as well as people. Some people are so full of wickedness and hatred that they brutally kill women, babies and children, not warriors and soldiers. This was The sort of person we understood Ben Laden to be as well as those who orchastrated the destruction of the world trade center where people from all nations were killed. These acts of terrorism are particularly evil. We could say that they posessed the spirit of the antichrist as did Hitler, the ceasars of the early church, and other evil rulers throughout history. The muslim religion states that those who do not convert should be killed. For that reason nations have been forced to try to stop its progression over the centuries. The people who went to war against it during the crusades were not necessarily born again Christians.. But the knights of those days did have a noble code of ethics that may have had greater allegiance to their kings than to God. There were certainly many atrocities during that time. Most of us did not hate Ben Laden as much as we were angry, but he declaired himself a hater of our nation and stated that he intended to destroy us. Moreover he was becoming increasingly able to execute his plans. Many of us did pray for his salvation in hopes that he would repent. Soldiers came to be baptized by John the Baptist. Jesus healed the servant of a centurion, an officer of the Roman army. God also had the Gospel preached to another centurion, the first time the apostles were sent to gentiles like you and me. Never were they told it was evil to be a soldier. God encourages us to come under authority and opposes anarchy. I do not question God's idea of justice. He understands how evil they have become much better than we can, and He is totally fair and righteous. I say that fully understanding that my nation deserves His judgement.. I pray for His grace and mercy for His children and that many will yet come to repentance. But God does all things well. -
To be counted worthy is also by God's grace. Only He is worthy, and that is why we will cast our crowns at the feet of Jesus, the Lamb of God. God enables us both to will and to do His good pleasure. He will give us grace to endure what we must endure. We are told that he who endures to the end shall be saved. That means that those who are apostates and fall away during the end times will not be saved. But Jesus kept all that the Father gave Him in John, and He continues to keep His own who are fully committed to Him as their Lord and Savior. So I fail to understand this post very well. I don't see that I will ever be counted worthy of anything but for the grace of God. There will be nothing for me to boast about. I will owe it all to Jesus.

Why is it celebrated in Dec? I think most historians agree that He was not born in Dec. . Cain dedicated his sacrifice to God, and God didn't accept it. God had a way to be worshiped, the way Abel did. God told Cain if he just did like his brother, he would be fine, but he wanted to worship God his way. You are free to boycott celebrating the birth of Christ. Both Scrooge and the grinch tried that and it didn't work for them either. lol. The joy we share is given by the Holy Spirit as we celebrate in Him that God came in the flesh. We worship in Spirit and in truth. We afford you the right to do as you please and ignore His birth regardless of the date. If it is against your conscience to celebrate I wouldn't want you to do that. But I do pray that you be freed from your bondage soas to know the peace and the joy that can be found in Him. "God bless us, every one" was Tiny Tim's benedictiion. And blessings to you, as well. Christmas is based on the birth of Christ. We don't know for sure when it occurred. Some think it may have been closer to Passover since the temple sheep were being held close by. But I am thankful to have a day to celebrate Christ's first coming. Many have tried to make it a pagan day, from those who say it was on the winter soltice, which is several days before, to those who commercialize it or cloud it with fairy tails. Some say that Martin Luther began the Christmas Tree tradition. Other traditions like mistletoe and yule logs are definitely pagan in origin. . But if we dedicate a thing to God, doesn't it belong to Him? Christmas is dedicated to the birth of Christ and has been for many centuries. Giving of gifts is certainly of God, Who gave us His only Son. Even the maji presented gifts to the baby Jesus at His home, though probably not at the manger. The giving of gifts is a Godly tradition and should be stripped of the greed promoted by commerce. But, no. Christmas is based on the gift of God.

Congress works by compromise. The house sends a bill to the senate, which makes alterations, a counter proposal, and this keeps on going till they can agree. In this case the senate has not considered any of the house bills or made counter proposals. I would have to assume this is due to its majority leader, or perhaps the president himself. Obama has always rewarded those who support him and penelized those states that have not. His former enforcer, Rob Imanuel, was known to threaten and use physical violence, which makes him well suited for Chicago style politics. We probably still have thugs running our government!!!. We should demand that all presidential advisors, the czars as they are so called, be required scrutiny by congress as the other appointees are. Congressional drug and alcohol testing should be done regularly, and should be grounds for dismissal without benefits. They also should have to have personal and family financial accountablity made public to reveal dishonost gain, and that it should result in mandatory immediate dismissal without benefits as well. Nor should they be allowed to run again. Too often we are stupid enough to re elect the crooks. Christians are told to pray for those in authority over us. There is an evil stronghold over Washington DC that needs to come down. Things are not likely to change till the spiritual war is won. This is a call for prayer, and we need the prayers of those in other countries as well. Sometimes other peoples have better wisdom in how to pray for us. Yet deep down I know that these things have to take place for the end to come. Every time I pray Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth--- I am praying for Christ to come and set up His earthly reign. But I also ask for His will to be done in the hearts of men. When Joseph was sold into Egypt he said "you meant it for evil, but God meant it for good." God used it to save Jacob's family from starvation. So I pray that God use the situation in WA. DC for His glory. Come quickly Lord Jesus. Eph 6:12 NKJV For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Thank you Willa

He was well trained in how to manipulate and deceive the public as a community organizer. We all know who the deceiver of the brethern is. He told Christianity today that he is a Christian and told them what a difference it has made in his life. He did not tell them that he is a part of a socialist cult, Liberation Theology, which he publicly admitted to. Black Liberation Theology is promoted by his Chicago church as well as the one in DC that he presently attends occasionally. It believes that salvation is liberating the economicly oppressed by " spreading the wealth around." This is a term I have heard him use in 2 live speaches. So he does not believe in a personal salvation or that Christ died for our sins. The people who read the article in Christianity Today are still convinced he is a Christian in spite of all that proves otherwise. Satan has blinded their eyes.

Yes I also am grateful. We also paid into social security retirement insurance for a total of some 70 years, since I did not always work. Then it was expanded to include the disabled so they could retire early. There is a lot of fraud here. Many are legitimate but some need to be re examined. It is very hard to get this disability insurance now, and many people who deserve it are unable to qualify. It is difficult to prove brain injury and multible sclerosis disablility sometimes, and it has to be claimed within a certain length of time and then becomes effective 2 years later. But I am grateful for any increase. Due to Obama's reckless spending we are borrowing trillians of dollars a year, so we are experiencing terrible inflation, and he has set our country up for economic collapse. He is pushing through his bills without consent of the congress by presidential edict while congress is not in session. As such he is bypassing the constitution. This was never used for major spending bills before him. Most of his investments have gone to China. He baled out of private industry that should have gone into bankruptsy procedures designed for such a thing, and some did so in spite of his interference, which only prolonged it. So our social security income has taken a tremendous drop in dollar value. The rich get richer and the poor get poorer.

the Americans living in the Sanitary sewer?
Willa replied to silviawang's topic in General Discussion
We have built housing for homeless people in our city in the past, but it was not used. Illegal drug use is not allowed there. For a while a Christian organization ran it and people were not allowed to sleep together if they were not legally married. These were total falures and closed for non use. We still have facilities run by a local Christian mission for the homeless. It has areas for families as well as women and for men. It is not full and our temperatures have been near 0 degrees F. I saw a homeless couple walk through our neigborhood recently, probably to beg food at a nearby church. Often our drug rehabilatation is free. Here people live like that because they are criminals and don't wish to abide by our civil law or to receive God's grace. They want to live like that. It is indeed sad. -
My mom worked for a photographer and always had an interest, so where ever we went we had to stop at every bend of the road to take a photo. It made vacations long and boring. Hubby has always enjoyed photography but he photographs air shows and wildlife, and candid shots of people. So we would have a water fight and he would take one of me with drenched hair and shivering. Memories. But we got some of him rolling on the ground, wrestling with our kids and ganged up on by the grand kids. He was their horse. He would also flip them in the air with his feet. Yes, very good memories. They asked for copies recently for their own memories and to display at our 50th wedding anniversary. Now one son and his wife are semi professional photographers. His photos are usually posed and his wifes are a little contrived, but some are really good. They continually photographed their first daughter and now continually take phone photos of grandson; But it is the emphasis on superficial appearances that affects the kids attitudes the most, especially when there is less teaching of daily practicing the things of God in the home. The other son can take very artisitic photos but doesn't do so as much. They have even discouraged their little daughter from pretending like she is a princess because they have seen her become arrogant when she does. They teach the life in the Spirit--praying for the kids who are picking on them and looking beyond the actions. So I think it is the attitudes of the parents and the emphasis on superficial appearances that negatively affects the kids more than anything else. The photography style and emphasis is more of a reflection of the parents' values and what they are teaching their kids.

In the far west we call it a cow pie. But if it were fresh---I guess it is pie in the face. I remember the Mash episode when Col. Potter said it was a tiptoe through the tulips when the horse relieved itself in his office and he slipped in it.. You guys just sound like a bunch of city slickers!

I also note that the book of the Revelation seems to be written to the Jewish people after the church age, and most certainly so after the seals. The book is then based on the Jewish feasts. The feast of trumpets, that plagues of Egypt and the Passover, and temple worship. The bowls and trumpets even are a part of the temple ritual, which also is a picture of the tabernacle in heaven. It is not written in pictures that we gentiles understand as easily so I believe this part is addressed primarily to Israel and the Jews. I believe that many will be kept by God during the trib, especially the 144,000 Jews, but not all believers will go through it. I don't know if they will be removed by the wars and famines, or if they will be like the church of Philadelphia in 3:11 and kept from the trib.. There are also some pretty severe disasters that lead up to the great trib. We are not fully assured of a future without trials. But I do agree that the rapture could happen at any time, without warning and unexpectedly. The second coming happens when Jesus returns WITH His church. So I continue to look for his coming. The second coming has all the nations aware and preparing to do battle with Him, and every eye shall see Him. The rapture will occur when noone is ready. And 2 Thess 1: speaks of repaying with tribulation those who trouble you, so I am not sure whether the church will be removed before the great trib as the church at Philadelphia, or before the wrath. Certainly Jews will be protected through it as was Noah et all, and perhaps this will be true of those who are saved during the trib and the wrath. 1 Thess 1:10 and to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, even Jesus who delivers us from the wrath to come. 1Thess 5:9 for God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 5:9 much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. NKJV I am not looking for escapism as some accuse us of. I am seeking to rightly divide the Word of truth while considering all pertinant Scripture. I do not see the church going through the wrath. I see the Jews going through it, and many being kept by God's power. I see Jesus 2nd coming to be with His church. It is difficult to discern the distinct order because prophecy skips around a lot. But I am sure events will become more clear as they unfold before us. Already our nation has turned against Israel and the nations are alligned so as to be ready for the Ezekiel 38 war. Nuclear events are sure to happen between Israel and Iran, and when they do we may become the victims of an attack in the USA. "I know not what the future has of marvel or surprise, we only know that life and death, His mercy underlies". Whittier, the Eternal Goodness. Our pastor has an interesting take on Rev 8:8 events. The word star is aster, which is our asteroid. Should it be a large one falling into the Atlantic, it would cause a huge tseunami, wiping out a third of the shipping, the seaports, the life. A biproduct would be sulpheric acid, sulpher dioxide and a poisoned sea that would kill off life. Moreover this would also cause acid rain from the vaporizing of ocean water, and severe greenhouse effect and the other things discribed subsequently. It is an interesting explanation worth considering. He had all the chemical reactions explained as well, but I don't have my note at hand. Over and over we read that the wrath of God will come upon the sons of disobedience. And repentance brings escape from the wrath to come according to John the Baptist.

A few notes. In Chap 4-5 the 24 thrones had men who had been made both kings and priests. This distinction was given only to Christians. Vs 5:9-10 they had been redeemed by the blood of Christ and will reign with Him The seals are an outline. Parts of them are further explained in the subsequent chapters, especially the sixth. 1-5 is the great trib. It is all caused by men via wars and men The 6th is the wrath of God. We the church are spared from the wrath of God. 144,000 Jews are then sealed by God and must go through the wrath in Rev 7. A great multitude which came out of the great trib are then revealed in heaven; they have white robed washed in the blood of the Lamb, and will serve God day and night in His Temple. It goes on speaking much like chap.20. This may indicate it is the church and that it came out of the trib prior to the wrath of God. The 7 trumpets go on to expond upon the 6th seal in more detail, discribing the events of the wrath of God which was intended for unbelievers. It indicates demonic activity. Chap 11 is about the 2 witnesses who lay in the streats of Jeruselem where the Lord was crucified, and then were resurrected and ascended into heaven. After an earthquake many gave glory to God--were saved? The 7th trumpet reveals the kingdom of Christ and rewards are passed out. The church is in heaven. It states His wrath has come while these rewards are being handed out at the judgement of the righteous deeds of the saints. We have to remember that the elect also include the inhabitants of Israel who repent and receive Christ. There will be `others around the world who will be saved during the wrath. These are likely the ones who will be called from the 4 winds in Matt 24:31. I do believe that the church is to be spared from the wrath of God, but it may have to endure part of the great trib. We are told the Jesus will not return till the antichrist is revealed and the apostacy has happened. The antichrist is revealed at the beginning of the great trib according to Matt 24. So it is possible to occur then but certainly happens before the wrath. 1 Thess 5:10 Jesus who delivers us from the wrath to come.

You are to love her as Christ loves the church. Yes, that mean to forgive her. But it also means to protect her. Our God is a jealouse God and does not tollerate us pursuing idol worship and departing from Him. That is why the marriage vows are so sacred to Him. They do represent His relationship with His church. The fact that her family knows and were encouragling this seperation, and that they are best of friends with him, means they probably told him. It would seem to me that you also need to tell her brother that you forgive them for encouraging her to break her wedding vows to be yours till death, but to expain to them since he has refused repent from pursuing her even as a much too intimate friend, that you would be a fool to welcome him in your home. Don't lawyers call it alianation of affection? Had he appologized to you it would all be very different. But he needs to admit his error, his sin, to all to make it all go away. You need to protect your marriage above all things. On the other hand, had your been abusing her, instead of treasuring her and serving her in such a way to make her feel like your queen, you certainly need to examine how Christ treated the apostles. He washed their feet as a servent to them. Do pray aloud with your wife every day. We have been married 50 years and the 11 years before he was saved were some of the hardest of my life. I had to learn to be a good wife to and forgive an ungodly man. But since his salvation the one thing that has meant the most to me is his SPOKEN PRAYERS OVER ME AND OUR FAMILY. I join in and also pray for him and our family as well. He prays for our protection and my healing, and I agree and pray for his. We pray for the eyes of our grandkids be opened to Gods love and gift of salvation. These prayers are like glue that bond our hearts in Christ. He also prayed aloud individually for our kids while they were still at home, before they left for school, for them to think clearly while taking tests or whatever their concerns were. They have remarked that this is one of the things that also meant most to them. His prayers are simple and not eloquest, but he is the priest in our home. God has made Christians both kings and priests. He has gained our admiration and overwhelming respect through those prayers. But he also helps us in whatever ways he can, whether it is to help with the housework that is difficult for me or to help the sons with working on their cars. He serves our family. He also serves our neighbors and is a blessing to them. He does this in spite of crippling arthritis that makes life very difficult for him. So he demonstrates his love to his family the way that Christ demonstrated His love while on earth. I urge every married man and/or father to pray aloud for his family daily. Christ is even now at the right hand of the Father praying for us. Do be a priest in your family as well and serve them as Christ served the church.

God is all knowing, all wise, compassionate and righteous. He was in a position to judge how evil everyone in the earth was at the time of Noah and draw the line. We are not all knowing, all wise, or completely righteous but for Jesus imputing His rightousness on us and taking our sin on the cross. We do not have the complete knowledge of situations to know what is best as He does. If most of us were to judge this world we would not be as patient as God has been. He waits till evil has run its full course and then still waits for hundreds of years so that all who may repent are given time to do so. He is also full of mercy and loving kindness toward those who come to Him in humble faith. We look to Jesus' life as a guide to morals. We are told that God is love and we are to love other Christians especially, but to also have mercy on others in neeed. What is scary is that our world is becoming much like the nations He proclaimed judgement on, especially our USA. He destroyed cities of gang raping homosexuals. He destroyed nations that burned their unwanted babies alive in the hands of baal, much like we burn babies in the womb with chemicals or pull them limb from limb and then have to count the body parts to make sure they got it all..Yes, it is horribly painful. Again, He is merciful and forgives those who come to Him in repentance. But our wickedness and adulteries have not gone un noticed. Read Job 38-42:6 Who are we to question our Creator?

How many Americans still believe in GOD today?
Willa replied to silviawang's topic in General Discussion
If you are asking how many read their Bibles and pray regularly, I once read it is about 8%. Our president claimed to be a Christian but his actions have proved otherwise.. He is in a socialist cult that believes salvation means deliverance from bondage of poverty through socialism, and Jesus was just a good example of God identifying with the poor. It is called liberation theology. The news and the movies malign true Christians most of the time. People who share their faith at work are often in danger of losing their jobs. I was always careful to urge people to go to the church of their choice so I could not be accused of prosylatiizing. I was able to tell others what Jesus has done in my life and for out family. So what you have said is true. Our state had to allow athiests to put up a sign against religion in order to allow a Christmas scene to be displayed on the capital grounds.. Some public buildings have been forced to remove the 10 commandments. People are being complained about if the have a Bible Study in their homes. One business complained that the church next door was too noisy and they could hear hymns being sung. So there is growing opposition but so far the constitution still gives us safeguards. Some people are being forced to do things against their Christian beliefs, which is not good. Some quit their jobs or close their businesses rather than do so. It is a time to be as wise as serpents and as innocent as doves. However, God has always used opposition to strengthen His Church. The gates of hell shall not prevail against it!!. -
The church you were in does not sound like a cult. In fact on the surface it sounds very good. The problem is that you did those things because others told you to and not because God put a desire in your heart to do them. Each church must be weighed on its own merit, mine or others. Normally the Nazarene church might be a good choice, but the one in our are has become a very liberal church that does not adhere to Christian doctirine like the Trinity. My own church is extremely good and has excellent Bible teaching, but again not all of my denomination are the best, either. You should pray and ask God to take you where He wants you.
-
The most important thing is that we should be ready for Jesus' return whether it be now or after the trib. We should be looking for His return for His church, and redeeming the time, actively serving God, till it occurs.

When I was first saved I believed in evolution but that fell by the way with much certainty. Since I have a bit more background in biology and have looked into this and physical anthropology for many years. I definitely believe that each species was created individually and that none evolved from another. There has been much evolution within species but there are no links showing that one evolved from another in spite of claims to the contrary. There are always other acclaimed scientists who disagree with the findings and conclusions of those who tried to make headlines for their discoveries.. I love fossils and paleontology, too. But I have to take a firm stand on this one. The only thing that has evolved has been that the theory of evolution is now being taught as a fact. But you are still a Christian.
