Earlier question. Sex in the new Heaven and Earth?

May God bless you, TheCurseOfTheRodain. I knew you would say what you need to say, and you said even more. -
I have not heard God saying Bible is true. Neither say Paul, or Peter, or Jesus, as I think. None of them are mentioning what is called Bible. There are scriptures that Jews preserved, then there is the Holly Spirit that teaches Jesus disciples, as I think. Then there is plenty of scripture that people write and use to help each other in righteous living. Sourberry, you write like a believer. Do you believe in God? Heavenly Father is my God.

Nobody hides the truth from you, or me, or omegaman - even now, as I think. :-)

“Why do You speak to them in parables?” Jesus answered them, “To you it has been granted to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been granted. If the answer to why He speaks in parables, lies in the idea that understanding of the mysteries was not granted to some, then that sure sounds like it is designed to hide those mysteries, otherwise he would have spoken plainly, does that not follow? Would you consider that understanding why Jesus spoke in parables may also not be granted to some?

Jesus did not hide truth. Parables is the way to express heavenly things in earthy terms. Parables require no treatment. They can only be replaced with other parables, as I think. This is what Jesus did, when disciples asked for clarification, as I think.

That is strange. Matthew 22 23The same day the Sadducees, who say there is no resurrection, came to Him and asked Him, 24saying: "Teacher, Moses said that if a man dies, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife and raise up offspring for his brother. 25Now there were with us seven brothers. The first died after he had married, and having no offspring, left his wife to his brother. 26Likewise the second also, and the third, even to the seventh. 27Last of all the woman died also. 28Therefore, in the resurrection, whose wife of the seven will she be? For they all had her." 29Jesus answered and said to them, "You are mistaken, not knowing the Scriptures nor the power of God. 30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels of God in heaven. Mark 9 49 ... every sacrifice shall be salted with salt -

I am glad you said that. -
So, you think you are created? Yes, by my mother and father out of their own free will. I thought mother and father give a birth, not create.

So, you think you are created?

Once you are tagged, you have very few places to attend. This place is one of them.

There are many ways to preach the Gospel, as I think. One of the ways is to live it.

You do not open a can of worms, as I think. There is always a spiritual and non spiritual way to look at the situation. And I think you deal with the situation in Spirit.
-
If by the Word of God you mean Jesus Christ, then I solely agree with you.

What are these rules that the Amish believe are necessary for salvation?
-
I do not think that the understanding depends on how hard one tries to understand. The understanding itself is granted, as I think, by the Spirit. And for the understanding to come one needs to commit to a pure heart, as I think.
-
I think so too. The Holy Spirit guides your prayer, stands for it, as I think, and even prays for you.

Sometimes little children ask questions, and you start thinking how to answer them, so that they would understand. And you already know upfront that they will not understand the answer, so that you come up with a really simplified answer that children would interpret and digest. Also, you would know what is important to children, but children do not know yet. And they do not always understand what you do and why you do. This is why God gives us children, as I think, so that we learn and understand what it is like to be a child, and we learn and understand what it is like to be a parent, I think.

I do know too little about the Amish. But from what I know, it looks to me that apostle Paul was the Amish. Not the follower of Jacob Amman, so, and not somebody who would carry book(s) named Bible, and not someone who would teach Trinity, but I still find enough commonality, as I think, to say that Paul was the Amish. How would Paul have carried the bible? Which bible? You asked the right question, as I think. Paul would not have carried even the Scriptures, as I think.

You probably want to understand the spirit of the Amish, not the external shapes that may mislead into some buffing, as I think.
-
I think the Amish exterior simplicity somehow masks (yet emphasizes) the beauty of the human spirit.

While neither gas or electric can get anyone closer to Jesus Christ, as I think, but people do get worried about these things.
