I understand you Marvie. But do you think that the event of Revelation 9 is the 70 weeks prophesied by Daniel (Daniy'el) the prophet? The event of Revelation 9 is totally different to me as there don't seem to be any covenant between Israel (Yisra'el) and the Antichrist within this chapter of Revelation. I am not trying to be dogmatic here but I totally view this event on a different perspective.

@Montana Marv. The verse you quoted from Zechariah (Zekaryah) is totally something else. You said even idol worshippers are part of those that are under the altar. But the verse you quoted is talking about cleansing and purging of sins and idolatry.

@Donibm. Was it not just for the sin of Achan that God punished all the Israelites? Achan was the only offender but others also suffered. The famine that affected the Northern kingdom of Israel during the reign of Ahab (Ahav) and Jezebel (Izevel), didn't it also affect those who were just and worthy in Israel? Even Elijah (Eliyah) the Prophet had to flee and be fed by ravens that were sent by Yahweh and he even had to be sustained by eating a meal with the widow of Zarepath.

I just checked 1 Corinthians 13. It doesn't mean that prophecy will vanish forever. I believe what this means is that, once a prophecy is fulfilled, it becomes past and may not fulfill twice.
