  1. The one kwik recommended is really good I have it on my ipad didn't know it was for desk top too.
  2. 15 “Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves. 16 You will [k]know them by their fruits. [l]Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes nor figs from thistles, are they? 17 So every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor can a bad tree produce good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 So then, you will [m]know them by their fruits. 21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. 22 Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many [n]miracles?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness.’ If you read it in it's entirely you can see that this is pertaining to false teachers which back in Jesus day they were common and even now they lurk teaching false doctrine in the church by doing miracles and prophecies that are not from God.
  3. If your understanding of why Jesus had the disciples pray the Our Father, is right then the written Word of God would be contradicting its self. My answer to your question is, because the disciples had not yet received the Holy Spirit, and were still at the mercy of Satan. Jesus knew they would continue to sin until they received the Holy Spirit. Peter proved that to be true. You don't think this prayer was to be used as a model for us ALL to pray? It's not just for the disciples, it's how we should pray Jesus was setting the example. The disciples had JESUS with them at the time he would be enough protection, the Holy Ghost came to guide us and help us since Jesus can not be here with us physically so he sent a helper. Were still at battle with Satan but because of Jesus we can overcome the Devil through faith and prayer. I wonder what do your prayers consist of John? Do you have no sins? If were honest with ourselves we can admit we all fall short by what we say, think, or even in action. And you even ignore with Paul said how he struggles, is he not filled with the Holy Ghost? 8 Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. 11Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. 12For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.
  4. If we could be without sin why would Jesus have us pray the "Father's prayer"? Is this prayer just designed for infant born christians? I mean if it were possible to not sin we wouldn't need to pray for our sins to be forgiven. Matthew 6:9-13 New International Version (NIV) 9 “This, then, is how you should pray: “‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, 10 your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. 11 Give us today our daily bread. 12 And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. 13 And lead us not into temptation,[a] but deliver us from the evil one.[b]’
  5. No a spiritual Christian does not sin. (1 John 3: 5 - 6) “ Now you know that He appeared in order to abolish sin, and that in Him there is no sin; anyone who lives in God does not sin, and anyone who sins has never seen Him or known Him.” That doesn't mean we don't sin, but that we should not be living in a state of habitual sin. How can someone say they Know Him but still parties and drinks? Still in their old ways. As christians we should strive to live righteously and want to imitate Christ and not go back to live in a state of sin. Even Paul underlined his struggled with his flesh, as were sinful by nature it's a spirtual battle that's ongoing till Christ makes us new when He returns at the second coming. Rom 7:15- 25 I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. 16 And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good. 17 As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me. 18 I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. 19 For what I do is not the good I want to do; no, the evil I do not want to do-this I keep on doing. 20 Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it. 21 So I find this law at work: When I want to do good, evil is right there with me. 22 For in my inner being I delight in God's law; 23 but I see another law at work in the members of my body, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within my members. 24 What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death? 25 Thanks be to God-through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself in my mind am a slave to God's law, but in the sinful nature a slave to the law of sin. " As for the question at hand, all people should be treated well.
  6. I believe David is saying God is his provider he gives him everything he needs because God knows what is best. He trusts God to direct his path.
  7. No, but we sin daily and need to seek forgiveness and allow Christ to help us with our struggles when we do fall short but no one is sinless.
  8. Well, not sure if he had Satan himself (scripture seems to suggest He did) or a demon but it did say Judas was possessed. Luke 22:3 And Satan entered into Judas who was called Iscariot, [a]belonging to the number of the twelve. John 6:70 Then Jesus replied, "Have I not chosen you, the Twelve? Yet one of you is a devil!"
  9. No God hates evil and Satan is EVIL. He will never repent and If He did it's beyond that point. He will be judged for what he did just as it was written in revelation and thrown in the abyss will be his fate.
  10. God is absent in this world and that's not because He wants to be but humans chose to be apart from Him when Adam and Eve sinned. Just look at this world how mankind thinks it doesn't need God and that's why there is suffering, moral decay, and misery this is a planet without God. But he comes into the lives of those who recieve Him and he will allow this world to get worse and allow the Devil to rule over it till His return when He fixes everything we have ruin. But He is by no means abandoning those who receive Him.
  11. Yes. You don't need to pray in a group for your prayers to be heard. Matt 6:6 "But you, when you pray, go into your inner room, close your door and pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you.
  12. - And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. It's speaking of Jesus because Jesus is the "Word of God" as spoken in John 1:1 and the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. John1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Jesus is also the lamb of God. John 1:29On the morrow he seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold, the Lamb of God, that taketh away the sin of the world! Rev 17: 14 They will make war on the Lamb, and the Lamb will conquer them, for he is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those with him are called and chosen and faithful.”
  13. Yes it can be a sign of demonic possesion or just a need of self control. Some people are just quick too anger. James 3:8But no one can tame the tongue; it is a restless evil and full of deadly poison. James speaks of the need to control of what we say and how difficult it can be too and how easy defiled we can become. James3:9 With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse human beings, who have been made in God’s likeness. 10 Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers and sisters, this should not be. 11 Can both fresh water and salt water flow from the same spring? ..
  14. We're all sinners but a christian is a sinner saved by grace through Jesus. What seprates a sinner from a christian is a christian tries to live according to what Jesus taught and puts their faith in Christ. If a christian is a prositute then they didn't get the message for repentance.
  15. 1 peter the scripture you provided pretty much sums it up how to be holy in God's eyes: 13 Therefore, with minds that are alert and fully sober, set your hope on the grace to be brought to you when Jesus Christ is revealed at his coming. By putting your faith and hope in Jesus you are made righteous, blameless before God. (phillippians 3-9 and may be found in Him, not having a righteousness of my own derived from the Law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which comes from God on the basis of faith) 14 As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance. 15 But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; 16 for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.”[a] Our works don't make us righteous, were sinful by nature but we ought to live in OBEDIENCE. By what we practice and our thoughts allowing Jesus to work through us.
  16. Try to think before you react to a situation that makes you feel angry, is it worth losing it over? and If you need to take a walk outside and get away from the thing that makes you upset before blowing your top, you can also do that by mediatating on the word of God or listening too music that's uplifting when you feel overcomed with anger. Take a time out. You may also have a chemical or hormonal imbalance which may need to be helped and managed. Diet and lack of sleep can affect mood.
