  1. OneLight, Can you rephrase that? It sounds like you're saying God cannot have what he joined man and woman together for - he cannot have what he wants (godly seed/godly offspring) - and that we should stop trying to be godly (surrender/give up) and let him do all the work. P.S. What I was asking in the opening post is if being godly is more about being spiritually aware (seeds = spiritually awareness / spiritual souls) than it was about being spiritually productive (being fruitful = producing spiritual awareness). And I ended with the thought that being awareness is kind of like work / producing fruit, as even awareness is what is conceived and conception is like work or working towards awareness. Sorry, if I am confusing. I guess it is as difficult as trying to divide the spirit and the soul - where one ends and the other begins.
  2. I'm just wondering... What do you all think it is to be godly? What is the perfect definition? Is there a simple definition? Is there a simple method to become said definition? My thought is that being godly is probably more than just doing the work of God. I mean, I don't think work is all there is to it, but at the same time, even the soul, that is, even our own conception is, more or less, a function, task, or work; and so, maybe being is working... but I am not sure. So... yeah... Thoughts? Malachi 2:15 John 6:29
  3.   Atonement/retribution/sacrifice/death is what you do in the flesh, and that has all been fulfilled/condemned/paid for -- Jesus purchased us. The only way you pay for forgiveness now is through repentance in the spirit. And some might argue that the only way you follow the law now is in the spirit, as well.
  4. Agreed. It seems some people have much larger swings each way on different days lol. John 13:34 "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. Such a short command, yet who can follow it? I have always had difficulty with even a 5 minute conversation with someone, even more so if I don't know the person very well. Difficult as in painful, even for the other party generally speaking lol. So maybe everyone else understands what love is. Yes, i do have kids, even then i can't explain love. How do we get over ourselves to follow this simple command to those who lie, cheat or hurt us? Or even a less personal example, how to love that person you rarely have to see who may be particularly abrasive? I've been pretty good at generally distancing or ignoring many people. Everyone at work knows i don't learn the new peoples names for about the first two years because most will not be around that long anyway lol. Some of it is I am terrible at remembering names, but part of it is my attitude about people that they just aren't reliable, they always leave. Given the above verse, my attitude must change. Don't associate people/souls with their will/spirit, then, like a child to others, it is easy to love people. (love the sinner hate the sin.) Of course, that's easier said than done because we learn that putting up barriers "protects us". Yet, it is those barriers which protect us from hate/wickedness, that also keep us from love/good and forgiveness. So, what you really want to do is pratice forgiveness, and practice understanding (understand that they likely don't understand what they are doing). Understand that people do not understand how to love/agape - they think that love does not need to be just, and/or they think that if they do not receive love then they should not give love. But in reality, it is the ones whose agape/love is reliable and depended upon who really receive the most love. Like bees, for example. If bees stopped doing their work/producing their fruit, we would all freak out and try to help them, because we depend on them and their love - and that is how we should be -- we should be love, not just practice love. But don't get me wrong, we should not make it our mission to cast pearls before swine, nor forgive those who do not want forgiveness - that is not good either.
  5. Don't think about it like whether or not he loves us - think about it like he is love. His will is what we call love/good and it is what everyone is trying to reproduce, only what we produce is unjust [because we are selfish]. 1 John 4: 8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. Like this: These words are images of my awareness/consciousness/concepts/pysche/soul. (word/image/body/Son) My awareness is of my will/forces/desire/spirit. (awareness/concepts/soul/Father) My willl is to reproduce/conceive what is good/love, which is (the image of my awareness of my will.) (will/forces/Holy Spirit) So these words are the image of my awareness of my will, the awareness of my will, as I see it (as I see my will/desire/what is good or love). And so you can see how God is one. His body (Jesus/physicality/Word) is the image of his awareness(Father/soul/pysche) of his will (Holy Spirit/forces/will/his pleasure/good/love). (The soul translates/breathes the spirit into the body, just as I have translated my desire into these words/into physicality.) In this case, my will/spirit/desire/what I saw as good/love was to reproduce my awareness of God being love - that is what my entire post was: the image of my awareness of God being love, and it was my will to reproduce that good/love/awareness of spirit (because I see it as good/love). *I used slashes to infer that the things are conceptually the same. e.g. good/love are conceptually equal. Hope all the slashed didn't make it too hard to understand. What we are all doing is reproducing spiritual awareness byway of the body - the body/word is the mediator. And what we see [in the spirit] is good/love, even if it is something "bad" which we see. e.g. It is good to see that a certain desire is bad. e.g. It is good to have law even though law basically creates evil out of unjust will/spirit/desire.
  6. Not sure if you are a Christian or a Gnostic or something else. What you have written bears no resemblance to what is in Scripture. The Father is NOT basically everything, since that would be Pantheism, which comes from Eastern religions. What I meant was that the body of God is all form. His form is all forms/images/bodies/words - there is no form besides his. The light you see in your mind, or the touch you feel of your keyboard, even the taste of your last meal, and the smell of the air around you - they are all the forms of concepts - they are all images of perceptions, and are all the word of God. For the record, I've searched all over the internet and have only seen a couple of people with beliefs similar to mine -- but I didn't catch their denomination. If it helps you any, I would identify myself as a Christian, and was raised Baptist, but today, I don't know if a denomination even exists which I would categorize myself as adhering to - not that I see anything good in doing that, anyways. I mean, if you do that, then you are pretty much binding yourself to a set doctrine, and that is not following Yeshua's way but man's, since Yeshua's way is subject to growth, or change, from our perspective. However, if you want to know my faith, my beliefs, and what they're based on, you're welcome to ask. What I've said in the above posts is all pretty much scriptural, it just that I have come upon most of my interpretations through prayer, meditation, reasoning, and/or fellowship. That is, my faith is scriptural but was not interpreted for me by pastors, or preacher, or deacons - I was not told what to think by someone else - not for the most part, anyways.
  7. I don't understand. Can you explain in layman's terms? What is the meaning and purpose of firstfruits unto God? Like Father made people bring him their first harvests, first animal born that was spotless, etc. What is the meaning of all that? Also he took the first born of Eygpts people, etc...
  8. If he does not want us to seek him, to know him, what is the point? Hint: You don't speak to someone unless you are trying to get them to conceive your awareness. It is true that he is not like us, however, we are in the likeness of him, and though his ways are higher than ours, ours does mimic him. Afterall, it is his Spirit -- it is his will which we are to be [doing/producing/becoming]. If you have no awareness of Truth, if you conceive nothing, what is there to save? How can we do his will if we don't understand it? and on and on...
  9. That's what I'm looking forward to: all in all. But I wonder: why has Father made the Son reign for now? Is it that the body of us is that which is used to subdue the spirit? The image controlling the spirits whether by leading them, or by forcing them, into the awareness of Truth (Father=awareness of Truth)? The firstfruit is of... What? Why do firstfruits go to Father? Are the fruits the spirits which have gained awareness of the Truth by the image? By Yeshua? I need to understand what firstfruit is!! Anyone? http://www.worthydevotions.com/christian-devotional/we-are-the-bikoreem-of-creation/comment-page-1#comment-46396
  10. FresnoJoe, can you see that your words, and those verses, are to you, the image of your awareness? (They are what your awareness looks like to you.) And your awareness is of your will/desire, or what is in your spirit, which is, to produce “good” images for awareness? Can you see that you translated your spirit, your will after reading/eating what I wrote, into what was “good" images/"good" awareness as per your conception of your spirit? (Conception = conceived concepts = conceived awareness) Can you see that all life is doing that very same thing? Whether it be some man who wills images of himself going to work, in order to produce “good” images (money is "good" to him) so that he can produce, with that “good” image: “good” food/shelter/body/images for his awareness? Or maybe you can see it in a male bird, who, after hearing a female bird tell him what is in her spirit, what stick is “good” to produce for the body(the image of her awareness), it becomes his will to image that stick for her - to go gather that stick to build up her nest, which is an extinction of her: a body for reproducing new awareness in? Can you see we are all just trying to produce “good” fruit or “good” images so as to produce new awareness, new concepts, of our will/desires of what is “good”, which is, what we we love? It is just that one thing happening, and all life/awareness is doing it - all life/awareness is it. We are imaging what we love: good images; good images for good awareness; good images for good awareness of good spirit; images of love. It is “good” awareness reproduce - it is God making us in his likeness. Yeshua is God’s body; the image of God’s awareness; what God sees as his will/desire/Spirit/Love. He has breathed out his Spirit into us, so that we would produce his will. And his will for us, for mankind, is to be his children by heirs: Church. Is Yeshua God? Yes, absolutely. He is the Body of God - he is the Godhead bodily - the image of the invisible God. Do you see the shapes of my words or do you see the concepts of them, which is my awareness, the invisible things of my words?
  11. Depends on how they're doing it. If it is just repeating over and over the same prayers, and the same words, and the same meanings, then it might be the kind of prayer Jesus said not to do. But then, since it is your spirit, if your heart is not in it, then don't follow along either - don't just pray vainly - if you pray, you should mean it.
  12. My understanding is that the word of God is any image willed into the body by Father (which is basically everything). It differs from the Word of God in that the Word is the psyche of the spirit of the word. e.g. I am Cog (replace with my real name), that is the psyche of me or the awareness of my spirit, that is my awareness, it is what is conceived of my spirit (my awareness is what I conceive or hear or see within my spirit) and it is who you address when you speak to me - that is, you do not speak to my body, you speak to my awareness through my body and yours, through our words, and images of our awareness of our spirits. But where my psyche is Cog, my spirit is that of Church. Church is my spiritual purpose unto God - to be his heir through Yeshua - by taking in the spirit of his body, and imaging that spirit (Yeshua). So, the body of God, is his word, and his word's psyche is Yeshua, who is the Word. But the psyche of awareness, the awareness of God, the awareness of awareness, is Father - he is the one who conceives the Spirit of God and translates it into the Body of God. I think what you guys are missing is that you once did not see the invisible things of these words, you once did not perceive their meaning, you once only saw them as shapes, because shapes is all you had conceived of the light. And what you conceive of becomes, it literally is, your awareness. How you see these words here is what you are in your psyche. It is how you perceive the spirit of my words - the spirit within these words, which give you life/awareness of my spirit, of my awareness, or my body. When you read my words, you are eating the body of my awareness, and by the spirit therein, you perceive me, and know me, and conceive me, so to speak.
  13. gdemoss, that is very difficult to hear (perceive/understand). This is what you're referring to, right? But how do you hear that? Help me understand, please. What does it mean? What is he trying to tell us? This is open to anyone who can understand those sayings.
  14. Thanks, Joe. Also, hmmm. Are the gospels prophecies? Also, does anyone know the other verse I was referring to? The one that excuses our misinterpretations of scripture to others? (yet not prophecies, I think.)

    Rites

I do not go to church. That is, I do not attend any regular congregation. I feel that, whenever I talk about God with others, even across the internet, I am Church, and, for the most part, it feels satisfying - it feels right. Why I don't go to church is because it feels dehumanizing to me. Like there is no fellowship, and really, it feels like I'm just there watching a bunch of people going through the motions - all of them doing what they were taught to do, like trained elephants painting, but none of them having understanding of what they do, and by do, I mean their ritualistic behaviors. And now the but... But I feel like I am missing out by not partaking in sacraments and rites, which in turn, causes me to miss out on God liking me more. I mean, some rituals require congregations to preform -- like partaking in feasts with a fellowship or even attending mass, or maybe blessing with oil, amongst other things, I presume. So, what are you all's thoughts on rites, rituals, sacraments, etc: their importance, their meanings, the necessity of them - all of it? Also, church clothes, and the clothe? The church attire. The symbolism of it all... What am I missing?
