1 But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! 2 Timothy 3 10 Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so. 11 Does a spring send forth fresh water and bitter from the same opening? 12 Can a fig tree, my brethren, bear olives, or a grapevine bear figs? Thus no spring yields both salt water and fresh. 13 Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom. 14 But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth. 15 This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic. James 3 14 Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? 2 Corinthians 6

I get it, somethings are not easy to swallow
zhavoney replied to JohnD's topic in Understanding Hebrew Roots
Amen hmbld 27 For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And if you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise. -
Still speaking in symbols I see. Not sure if it's a cultural thing or what. Beast and pigpen? Why not speak plainly? Are you speaking of the anti-Christ? As far as Matt. 22 goes it's the call to follow Christ. Some would say that not many are chosen (predestined) to follow God. What does fasting for 40 days have to do with fasting for 3.5 years? God bless, GE No. I am not talking about the antichrist. Saint John, in first and second John, told us all we need to know about all of the antichrists who were and are all around us continually.. Plainly.. while every one is content lounging in their paneled houses talking about Christ and God there are those who know that very shortly everyone will be delivered into the field by force. So rather than wait until they are forced out. They are preparing faith in the Lord alone now so that they will be able to help in the time of great trouble that is coming quickly like labor pains on a pregnant woman. Yes it is time to rebuild the temple. 20 having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief corner stone, 21 in whom the whole building, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, 22 in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit. (Ephesians 2) 4 "Is it time for you yourselves to dwell in your paneled houses, and this temple to lie in ruins?" ( Haggai 1 ) 10 Be in pain, and labor to bring forth, O daughter of Zion, Like a woman in birth pangs. For now you shall go forth from the city, You shall dwell in the field, And to Babylon you shall go. There you shall be delivered; There the Lord will redeem you From the hand of your enemies. ( Micah 40 ) 3 For when they say, "Peace and safety!" then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape. ( 1 Thessalonians 5 ) 8 Who has heard such a thing? Who has seen such things? Shall the earth be made to give birth in one day? Or shall a nation be born at once? For as soon as Zion was in labor, She gave birth to her children. 9 Shall I bring to the time of birth, and not cause delivery?" says the Lord. "Shall I who cause delivery shut up the womb?" says your God. ( Isaiah 66 )

This is what I meant by spiritual writings. There will be no physical walls anywhere in Christ's kingdom. There will be nothing made by the hands of man there at all. The temple is the entire body of Christ joined together. 20 having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief corner stone, 21 in whom the whole building, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, 22 in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit. 4 who said to him, "Run, speak to this young man, saying: 'Jerusalem shall be inhabited as towns without walls, because of the multitude of men and livestock in it. 5 For I,' says the Lord, 'will be a wall of fire all around her, and I will be the glory in her midst.' "

Because their is neither Greek nor Jew bond nor free male nor female. When The lord returns to set up His kingdom here on earth the entire earth is his kingdom. Ezekiel's visions are spiritual writings. They are symbolic to the coming of the gospel of Christ.

Please explain this concept of "All without preparing the way back to the pig pen"? Are you referring to lost people, the Church, other Believers, or what? What passage of the Bible are you referring to Moses being on the mountain with no food and water for 40 days? Are you referring to Exodus 24 or Exodus 34 for example? In Exodus 24-25 God was re-affirming His covenant with Israel and giving Moses instructions such as directions on the Ark of the Covenant. Ex. 24:18 18 So Moses went into the midst of the cloud and went up into the mountain. And Moses was on the mountain forty days and forty nights. If this is what you are referring to in Exodus 34 God was calling Moses to a very specific task by giving Moses the 10 Commandments: Ex 34:28 28 So he was there with the Lord forty days and forty nights; he neither ate bread nor drank water. And He wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant, the Ten Commandments. Elijah travelled without food and water... Actually if you are referring to 1 Kings 19 Elijah had 2 meals that lasted him for 40 days. However, that was after Elijah asked God to end his life... And Elijah fled out of his own will the queen Jezebel. Are you saying that fasting for 40 days and nights is something Christians are called to today? God bless, GE I was referring to citizenship with the beast as the pigpen. The beast with seven heads and ten horns. Daniel 7:24 The ten horns are ten kings Who shall arise from this kingdom. And another shall rise after them; He shall be different from the first ones, And shall subdue three kings. 25 He shall speak pompous words against the Most High, Shall persecute the saints of the Most High, And shall intend to change times and law. Then the saints shall be given into his hand For a time and times and half a time. 26 'But the court shall be seated, And they shall take away his dominion, To consume and destroy it forever. 27 Then the kingdom and dominion, And the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven, Shall be given to the people, the saints of the Most High. His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, And all dominions shall serve and obey Him.' Deuteronomy 9:9 When I went up into the mountain to receive the tablets of stone, the tablets of the covenant which the Lord made with you, then I stayed on the mountain forty days and forty nights. I neither ate bread nor drank water. All of us are called to a very specific task. Matthew 22: 14 For many are called, but few are chosen." No amount of food eaten today can last you for forty days. As a matter of fact modern science says that a forty day fast with no food and water is impossible. But then that is exactly what the flesh would say isn't it? Do you think that if God purposed it with one or more of His elect that they could stay alive and healthy being sustained by God from within for three and a half years? That is eating and drinking nothing for three and a half years?

I do agree the Spirit of God leads those who believe in Jesus. I also agree God gives us the strength to carry on. Finally, I agree we are never alone as God is with us. Moses was fearful for his life and fled. Moses motivation was not reverence/love for God or following His Spirit. God still used this and made Moses into a leader of Israel. Elijah was fearful for his life and fled. Moses motivation was not reverence/love for God or following His Spirit. Right after killing the prophets of Baal. God still used this to fulfill His purpose in selecting new Kings for Syria and Israel as well as replacing Elijah (with Elisha). Christ was never alone. He was with his disciples to the end. Jesus was united with the Father and Holy Spirit until the end. What you are quoting is Deut 32:9-14. God found Jacob in the wilderness I guess is what you are referring to. Context is important in any discussion of Scripture. If you look at the context of this passage it goes back to Deut. 31:30 with Moses farewell song. The song is a reminder to Israel of where they came from and Who they belong to. Hopefully we can agree this passage is not an encouragement for people to go out into the wilderness to be found by God? God bless, GE All scripture was an invite to me to fast and pray in the wilderness for forty days. All without preparing the way back to the pig pen. Moses was on the mountain with no food and water for forty days. It changed his direction and life. Elijah traveled for forty days without food or water to .Horeb, the mountain of God and it changed his direction and life. Christ Fasted and prayed without food and water in the wilderness for forty days and it added to and strengthened his way of life.

Not at all. I don't reject any of the Lord's scripture. It is indeed His Spirit that tells us what is acceptable and what is not. it is his guiding light that lightens up the dark places.

I am here for the same reason that you are. Do you need the internet? Was it the internet that taught the gospel of Christ to you ? Or was it the internet that saved you? i don't know where you got the notion that i reject anything. I accept the Lord's biblical canon and every word that was, is and will be spoken by the Spirit of God. To rightly divide the word of truth you need to first ask God for His Spirit and when you have received his Spirit he will lead you into all truth. Then you will know his cannon from within.

Elijah went it alone. Moses went it alone. Christ went it alone. I went it alone. But none of Us were really alone were we? They are few who know that God is truly there to hold them up. It is the Spirit of God that leads us on and gives us the strength to continue. 9 For the Lord's portion is His people; Jacob is the place of His inheritance. 10 "He found him in a desert land And in the wasteland, a howling wilderness; He encircled him, He instructed him, He kept him as the apple of His eye. 11 As an eagle stirs up its nest, Hovers over its young, Spreading out its wings, taking them up, Carrying them on its wings, 12 So the Lord alone led him, And there was no foreign god with him. 13 "He made him ride in the heights of the earth, That he might eat the produce of the fields; He made him draw honey from the rock, And oil from the flinty rock; 14Curds from the cattle, and milk of the flock, With fat of lambs; And rams of the breed of Bashan, and goats, With the choicest wheat; And you drank wine, the blood of the grapes.

Please read the ToS(terms of service) ........if YOU choose to accept the Book of Enoch as part of the Bible then that is fine but do not post here claiming that it is part of the Bible,,,,,,,,or bashing the roman catholics with your allegations of their intent & purposes........I am sure our readers can hear enough of that on the Discovery channel or Nat Geo ,please try to pay attention to members like "other one",he personally regards the Book of Enoch to be valid & goes on to explain why, though it is non-canonical & not widely accepted as the Inspired Word of God..................you are entitled to your own opinions but to try to confuse our readers is very disrespectful of this Ministry, especially after I have very politely asked all members to be mindful of stating personal preferences as "matter of fact' You can go on the internet & read many reasons why people believe this Book should be accepted as the Inspired Word of God as you can read many reasons why it is not.............it does not change the fact that there are 66 Books in our Bible(we are not talking about catholic bibles).......& the Book of Enoch is not included I don't need the internet. i listen to The Spirit of God. You can of course believe what you wish but I tell you the truth when I say the roman catholic canon along with the King James canon, The niv canon Etc. are not acceptable to the Lord of heaven and earth. they will be removed once the King and his Saints come and reposes the earth and put everyone and everything in it's proper place. This is why we are told to 15 Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

The book of Enoch is part of the bible. The roman catholics purposely left it out and tried hard to hide it and destroy it. Then to further destroy the truth of scripture to protect their errors they hid and destroyed other books and they put in two books that were written by a Greek to the patriarch of Antioch in 160 AD. No one needs anything more than the Eye witnesses testimony to find and understand the true gospel of Christ which has not changed from the time He walked on the earth. Those eye witnesses are Matthew, John, Peter, Jude, and James. Paul also witnessed Christ on the road to Damascus but you don't need his writings to know and understand the Gospel of Christ. Paul was taught By the Spirit of God as I was but other than the light on the road to Damascus He never seen Christ in the flesh or in Person. This is the Gospel of Christ: 17 From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."

Devil simply means "one who does evil". This is why Christ called Judas Iscariot a devil. John 6: 70 Then Jesus replied, "Have I not chosen you, the Twelve? Yet one of you is a devil!" Satan simply means "The adversary of God". This is why Christ called Peter Satan. Because Peter was acting like a adversary. Matthew 16:23 But He turned and said to Peter, "Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men." As soon as Simjaza and his 200 followers had sinned against God by mating with women and creating monsters on the earth. God buried them in the desert in the middle east. Where they remain to this day alive but unable to move because of all the tons of mountains covering them. This is the Chains of darkness that Apostle Peter spoke about. 2 peter 2:4 For if God did not spare the angels who sinned, but cast them down to hell and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved for judgment; so you see if God was to kill satan the devil it would have meant all of us who did not know and follow Christ from birth. You really think mountains hold demons ? The Spirits of the children that the angels had with woman are the demons. The angels that sinned against God are angels not demons. They will never be forgiven for their sin because it has already been decided by God. I know that the mega tons of earth are holding them captive because God told Michael, Uriel, Raphael, and Gabriel to go and bury them there. God doesn't make mistakes.

Pharaoh was also Gods servant unknowingly and unwillingly. 17 For the Scripture says to Pharaoh: "I raised you up for this very purpose, that I might display my power in you and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth." 15 Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Is it a sin to have money, or a lot of money? Does 18:22 give us an absolute commandment--if we have any money or property at all, are we required to give it all away? Or was Jesus just speaking to this one individual? I was taught that being rich isn't a sin, but being stingy and hoarding wealth is, and that if you can afford to give charitably more than the 10% tithe, you should. Is that an accurate interpretation of these verses? Christ has nothing to do with the wealth of this world which will soon come to nothing. In the very near future no amount of gold silver or printed paper will be able to deliver anyone a drink of water or a bite of food to eat. It will all be gone from no rain on the face of the earth for three and a half years. All of the water supplies will be turned to blood and the wrath of God will begin and not stop until Christ returns 75 days after His two prophets are resurrected back to life. Then everyone who held on to their worldly goods will have wished they would have given them up for faith in God alone. Build faith in God while the wood is still green because in the dry you will only have time to run for your life.

7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. 45 And so it is written , The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. 4 Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth , it shall die .
-
The soul is the entire sole existence of a person including the breath of life from God and the body made of the dust of the ground. If you remove the breath of life or the body of dust that person becomes a dead soul. Man is truly flesh without the Spirit of God. just like the scriptures say.
-
Nope! Man without the Spirit of God is fully flesh. 3 And the Lord said, "My Spirit shall not strive with man forever, for he is indeed flesh; yet his days shall be one hundred and twenty years." Nope to you, sir. You must also take the over all context of scripture into consideration to get sound doctrine. Proverbs 18:14 (KJV) 14 The spirit of a man will sustain his infirmity; but a wounded spirit who can bear? Proverbs was written by a man who could not save himself even with all his earthly wisdom and knowledge. Besides that scripture doesn't say what you are implying. When man dies we can see His dead body. Corruption has set in within a couple of days as the body rots. The Resurrection from the dead is what The Lord promised those who believe in Him. No one goes anywhere or has anything after they die until they are resurrected back to life from death at the return of Christ. 42 The queen of the South will rise up in the judgment with this generation and condemn it, for she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and indeed a greater than Solomon is here. 6 Solomon did evil in the sight of the Lord, and did not fully follow the Lord, as did his father David.

Gehenna (The valley of the son of Hinnom). 32 "Therefore behold, the days are coming," says the Lord, "when it will no more be called Tophet, or the Valley of the Son of Hinnom, but "the Valley of Slaughter"; for they will bury in Tophet until there is no room.

Yes prayer is the answer. Amen~! But Jesus answered them, “My Father is working until now, and I am working.” John 5:17 (ESV) And Amen~! He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him. And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together. Colossians 1:15-17 (ESV) Praying~! I agree let's pray for the enemy it's not to late as long as life exists.

Romans 1 : 20 For since the creation of the world God's invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, 21 because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Professing to be wise, they became fools, 23 and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man--and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things. 24 Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, 25 who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. 26 For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. 27 Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due. 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; 29 being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, 30 backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; 32 who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them. aters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; 32 who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.

. Psalms 111:10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; A good understanding have all those who do His commandments. His praise endures forever. Those who do not fear God, Christ and the Holy Spirit have never begun to know anything. The fear of the Lord is just the beginning of wisdom.

Gap in the last 70th week of the 70 weeks from the first 69?
zhavoney replied to FreeinChrist's topic in Prophecy
Hi zhavoney Thank you for your post I think that my view may be similar from what I can understand of yours. I think that the three prophetic time periods from Daniel 12 are the keys in establishing the Revelation end time time line. Can you expand on what you mean by the two witnesses taking away the daily? I also think that "the daily" is God's sacrifice to man but that it is "taken away" by The Bad Guy. This is something going on in Heaven's Temple. I have 1335 days as the full duration of the tribulation, with the two smaller prophetic time periods taking place within the larger one. The taking away of the daily is the casting down of the censer from Rev. 8 and is the trigger event for the start of The Appointed Time of The End. What do you mean by the AofD being "full grown and sealed"? It is actually the true Prince of the Host that takes away the daily sacrifice and casts down the little horn's sanctuary. But even then the little horn practices deceit and seems to prosper. You can read about how the Prince of the Host cast down the horns sanctuary in Revelation 11. Those two Hosts are given over to the horn. Daniel 8: 10 And it waxed great , even to the host of heaven; and it cast down some of the host and of the stars to the ground, and stamped upon them. 11 Yea, he magnified himself even to the prince of the host, and by him the daily sacrifice was taken away , and the place of his sanctuary was cast down . 12 And an host was given him against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practiced , and prospered . -
Hell was translated from four different words. 1. Sheol = Ancient Hebrew word for "the dug out place below the surface of the earth. The Grave. 2. Hades = The Greek word for Sheol. 3. Tartaroo = The bottomless Pit. The abyss. 4 Gehenna = The Valley of the Son of Hinnom. According to Jerremiah 7:32 = "The valley of slaughter". This is the one that Christ referred to regularly. The wages of sin is death. Everyone who has eyes to see and ears to hear knows what death is. A lifeless body. Anyone who dies will not have Life again until the resurrection from the dead. 1 Corinthians 15:12 Now if Christ is preached that He has been raised from the dead, how do some among you say that there is no resurrection of the dead? 13 But if there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ is not risen. 14 And if Christ is not risen, then our preaching is empty and your faith is also empty.
