It sounds like you've had some bad experiences with some "Christians". I, too, have had my share. I could have let those experiences harden my heart and I could have turned my back on the Lord. Instead, I got aggravated! How dare those people that called themselves "Christians" act the way they were. They were not representing the Lord by treating people like that! I felt the need to show others that a few "bad" people never defines them all. There are plenty of good Christians in this world. You can find them. It's all a matter of talking, praying, and having ultimate faith in God.

Dearest Spark, God's love for you is an everlasting, pure love. We are all sinners that have messed up many times in our lives and will do so many more times in the future. God doesn't base His love for us on our performance or if we deserve it or not. He loves us while we are prideful sinners, as we make mistakes, as we fail. We are never too broken! You are NEVER too broken! Never run away from God, run to Him. There is no one that loves you more than Him! May God bless you, Spark, and I will keep you in my prayers.

I'm so sorry for all that you've been through in your life. But you must remember, it is not the Lord that has hurt you. Open up your heart to Him, Spark. It will amaze you. There are many good Christans here that will be very happy to talk with you, just give them a chance.

I, also, believe that sharing is much better than debating. When you try to "force feed" your faith on someone it tends to harden them. That's not the end result we want. We need to tell them how Jesus has made a difference in our life, love them without being judgemental of their choices and pray for them. We cannot make anyone change their mind. Our job is to point people in the direction of Jesus. He will change their heart.
