blessings asecretchord, i would suggest that you really look into what kind of "messianic judaism" congregation believes. this term has become such a "generic term" it really does not accurately describe what you need to know to make sure the teaching you are receiving is Biblically accurate. their are many messianic Jews who do not believe that Jesus is the Messiah. some even believe another man was the Messiah. some are still waiting for the Messiah. in addition to that are many "gentile lead congregations" that want to adopt judiasim rituals without really understanding scripture some even have two house theories which are really way off. not sure why you are looking to this particular "type" of congregation but if it is to understand the scriptures better i would suggest that you go to a synagog near you and use their libraries there. love your sister in Christ, Rebekah David *edited to add make sure you are very grounded in the New Testament scripture first.

blessings, snippets from the video are available on Yahoo through fox. the woman clearly states that she shot her husband intentionally and in fact went to battered homes etc before she shot (i say murdered) him and mentioned she loved the burning bed. i am thinking if what she says is true there will be a murder investigation forth coming. i do not think "acorn" will survive this last round as with each video released what their employees are saying break worse laws than the previous ones. first prostitution. then smuggling illegal under age immegrant girls for prostitution, now murder and and bank ceo and politicians. i really dread what the next one will disclose. the problem is the other agencies they are in or will morph into. pressure needs to be kept on both the media and congress to not only investigate but to strip any moneys/ powers given to the agency and its subgencies. love your sister in Christ, Rebekah David

(Christ came to seek the lost such as we were before He opened our eyes) and then pray about what to post and not let what they say harm our witness to others by replying out of emotion instead of Spirit led motives, only God can draw them but the Lord can certainly use our witness to plant seeds for them or others. paul rallied against God so much he helped to kill Christians and yet the Lord opened his hard heart. can we really discern who the Lord has given up on? please understand i am not saying to let what they say go unchallenged at all. but rather to make sure the truth is heard with grace so when others read it they do not see just a name calling war from both sides. just mho love your sister in Christ, Rebekah David

A person that was burned to death or died in a fire had those things happen against their will. The question asked by the OP was our opinion of cremation? Some of us believe that Christians shouldn't choose to be cremated. This is a completely differen't matter than a question over God's ability to raise up charred remains from a fire, people who were killed in a nuclear explosion, or any other such situation. God can do anything. That is not the point. blessings, Fez was not being carnally minded but showing the aburdity of a few post. wow they get worse! what about all our brothers and sisters who were burned to death for their faith? what about a believer who dies in a fire etc what about a believer who can not afford a burial. to say that you must be buried is NOT Biblical! if it is your choice as a symbolic act so be it but just as if you believe and die without the symbolic act of public baptism it has no bearing on your salvation>love your sister in Christ, Rebekah David the casket decomposes and their contents elements are eaten criters microscope and other wise lets say by worms the worms contribute part of what they eat in their bodies and the ground. the grass draws nutrients from the ground. cows eat grass. birds eat worms. God can collect the various body parts from all these in the chain but not from someone who was cremated.

People it's about living! Not dying! It's about living as Jesus wants us to live. It's about living under an open heaven here and now! It's about living in His grace and favor now! He never said, when you die you will please me if you get buried, burned, stuffed, mounted, or cast in plastic moulds. You can get yourself shot into space (they are selling tickets for your ashes to be put into orbit now - why? So He does not have so far to come and get us? ) It's about living! The whole bible is about light, and life, and love. Thats the point! Salvation belongs to the Lord! What do you think is going to happen? Angel with a clipboard saying Ok dig that one up, reconstitute that ones ashes, and don't forget half of them are on Aunt Alma's mantlepiece and the other half in Bob's attic? yes i remember i was on my way to visit my grandma before work ( i did not have the chance to see her over the weekend so i got up very early to drive to see her) i was somewhere between cohoton and bath when it came on the Chrisitan radio station. when i got to the nursing home we watched some of it together. she asked if we were at war and i said i looks like it grama. she was concerned it might be the war to end all wars and i reminded her the very worse that could happen is that we would be with Jesus. she laughed lol. after we hugged and prayed, i went to my parents house to wake them. i called my children and told them i loved them and to hang on to Jesus' promises. as i watched the news unfold during the next day or so i was surprized to hear that bombs had been planted in Jordon as well. it appears that they were hoping to start the war to end all wars trying for the feast of trumpets which was the next day. i can not imagine the pain and sorrow the families of all involved have lived through. i pray that the Lord used this to draw others to Him and comfort those who are grieving and to heal the horror the rescue workers lived through. i believe it was a wake up call for our country. sadly it appears it just stirred us in our sleep. it is also my son's birthday. love your sister in Christ, Rebekah David

Well before reading what anyone else says get well aquainted with God's Word. You don't really need any of these other books but many of them are useful. Once you have a strong foundation in God's word you will have discernment.This discernment will mean that you can read books by all different authors and see if what they are saying is true, based on the Bible And if they say things which are as heretical as heaven on earth, then burn the book... That's the whole reason people follow him, they want to hear these things. They are completely heretical though and unscriptural. Read through some of Pauls epistles. Life IS a spiritual battle. If you are not fighting it then you are not saved... There is no way we can get around it "But as for you, O man of God, flee these things. Pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, steadfastness, gentleness. Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called and about which you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses." 1 Timothy 6:11-12 "For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure has come. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that Day, and not only to me but also to all who have loved his appearing." 2 Timothy 4:6-8 Also have a read through 2 Corinthians. I have found this book incredibly helpful during all kinds of trials. Stay in the Word " All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness," 2 Timothy 3:16 Scripture is literally breathed out by God.
