  1. Don't limit what God can do. Genesis 18:[14] Is any thing too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son. Jeremiah 32:[27] Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me? Luke 1:[37] For with God nothing shall be impossible. Psalm 78:[39] For he remembered that they were but flesh; a wind that passeth away, and cometh not again. [40] How oft did they provoke him in the wilderness, and grieve him in the desert! [41] Yea, they turned back and tempted God, and limited the Holy One of Israel. Psalm 103:[14] For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust. [15] As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth. [16] For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more. Hebrews 3:[12] Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. Hebrews 3:[17] But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness? [18] And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not? [19] So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief. Psalm 95:[6] O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker. [7] For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice, [8] Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness: [9] When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my work. Hebrews 4:[6] Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief: Matthew 13:[54] And when he was come into his own country, he taught them in their synagogue, insomuch that they were astonished, and said, Whence hath this man this wisdom, and these mighty works? [55] Is not this the carpenter's son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas? [56] And his sisters, are they not all with us? Whence then hath this man all these things? [57] And they were offended in him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, save in his own country, and in his own house. [58] And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief. Matthew 17:[14] And when they were come to the multitude, there came to him a certain man, kneeling down to him, and saying, [15] Lord, have mercy on my son: for he is lunatick, and sore vexed: for ofttimes he falleth into the fire, and oft into the water. [16] And I brought him to thy disciples, and they could not cure him. [17] Then Jesus answered and said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him hither to me. [18] And Jesus rebuked the devil; and he departed out of him: and the child was cured from that very hour. [19] Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out? [20] And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. Shalom
  2. Faith. It's how God created all things. Hebrews 11:3 - By faith [that is, with an inherent trust and enduring confidence in the power, wisdom and goodness of God] we understand that the worlds (universe, ages) were framed and created [formed, put in order, and equipped for their intended purpose] by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things which are visible. It's impossible to please God without it. Hebrews 11:6 - But without faith it is impossible to [walk with God and] please Him, for whoever comes [near] to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He rewards those who [earnestly and diligently] seek Him. We are justified before Almighty God the Creator by faith. Romans 3:28 - For we maintain that an individual is justified by faith distinctly apart from works of the Law [the observance of which has nothing to do with justification, that is, being declared free of the guilt of sin and made acceptable to God]. Does faith come from world news? No. Does faith come by watching television programs filled with fiction? No. Does faith come from listening to anything that doesn't glorify Jesus? No. Faith comes from hearing and thinking the Word of God. Romans 10:17 - So faith comes from hearing [what is told], and what is heard comes by the [preaching of the] message concerning Christ. John 1:1 - In the beginning [before all time] was the Word (Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself. What you think about affects your belief. So think on those things that build your faith in God. Romans 12:2 - And do not be conformed to this world [any longer with its superficial values and customs], but be transformed and progressively changed [as you mature spiritually] by the renewing of your mind [focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His plan and purpose for you]. You decide what you think. Think wisely. Philippians 4:8 - Finally, believers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable and worthy of respect, whatever is right and confirmed by God’s word, whatever is pure and wholesome, whatever is lovely and brings peace, whatever is admirable and of good repute; if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think continually on these things [center your mind on them, and implant them in your heart]. Shalom
  3. Did any of y0u ever notice that Paul quoted the book of Jasher apparently referring to it as "scripture"? Shouldn't we? Shalom 2 Timothy 3:[8] Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. [9] But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was. [10] But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience, [11] Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me. [12] Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. [13] But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. [14] But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; [15] And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. [16] All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: [17] That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. Jasher 79:[27-38]: 27 And when they had gone Pharaoh sent for Balaam the magician and to Jannes and Jambres his sons, and to all the magicians and conjurors and counsellors which belonged to the king, and they all came and sat before the king. 28 And the king told them all the words which Moses and his brother Aaron had spoken to him, and the magicians said to the king, But how came the men to thee, on account of the lions which were confined at the gate? 29 And the king said, Because they lifted up their rod against the lions and loosed them, and came to me, and the lions also rejoiced at them as a dog rejoices to meet his master. 30 And Balaam the son of Beor the magician answered the king, saying, These are none else than magicians like ourselves. 31 Now therefore send for them, and let them come and we will try them, and the king did so. 32 And in the morning Pharaoh sent for Moses and Aaron to come before the king, and they took the rod of God, and came to the king and spoke to him, saying, 33 Thus said the Lord God of the Hebrews, Send my people that they may serve me. 34 And the king said to them, But who will believe you that you are the messengers of God and that you come to me by his order? 35 Now therefore give a wonder or sign in this matter, and then the words which you speak will be believed. 36 And Aaron hastened and threw the rod out of his hand before Pharaoh and before his servants, and the rod turned into a serpent. 37 And the sorcerers saw this and they cast each man his rod upon the ground and they became serpents. 38 And the serpent of Aaron’s rod lifted up its head and opened its mouth to swallow the rods of the magicians.
  4. What timeline specifically do you refer to please? Shalom. 2 Peter 3:[3] Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, [4] And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. [5] For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: [6] Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: [7] But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. [8] But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
  5. Excellent post. If we don't understand God, we will never understand the enemy. Shalom There is no salvation other than through Jesus Christ the Lord. None. Acts 4:[8] Then Peter, filled with the Holy Ghost, said unto them, Ye rulers of the people, and elders of Israel, [9] If we this day be examined of the good deed done to the impotent man, by what means he is made whole; [10] Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. [11] This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. [12] Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
  6. You are created in the image of God. Remember the temptation of Eve in the garden of Eden? The devil told her that God didn't want them to eat of the tree of knowledge because they would become like God. After reasoning that indeed it appeared to be a good fruit to eat, man yielded to the consideration. But Adam and Eve were already like God created in God's image and His likeness. Genesis 1:[27] So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. Notice how the devil approached Jesus a little differently. He questioned if Jesus was the Son of God then Jesus should command the stones to become bread. What? The devil knew Jesus was the Son of God and Jesus knew He was. There was no question. The devil literally didn't understand what Jesus was doing in the earth as a man (with God-given authority in the earth). Do you understand? 2 Corinthians 4:[3] But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: [4] In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. 1 John 3:[1] Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. Adam was the first son of God (man) in the earth and Jesus was the last son of God (man) in the earth. God "spoke with" the first Adam (man) the son of God. And God "spoke with" the last Adam (Jesus) the Son of man. 1 Corinthians 15:[45] And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. [46] Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual. [47] The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven. Jesus was the Son of man and the Son of God. Luke 3:[22] And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased. [23] And Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age, being (as was supposed) the son of Joseph, which was the son of Heli ...... [24 - 37] [38] ...... which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the son of God. Now we are sons of God as well as sons of man. Galatians 3:[26] For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. [27] For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. [28] There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. The first man, Adam and Eve (son of God), did not keep God's commandment (singular) but the last man, Adam (Son of man), did keep God's commandments (plural). Now we can call God, Father. Thanks be unto Jesus Christ the Lord. Jesus was our example of how to live on this earth as a man by faith in God. Not only so, but Jesus took back the power over everything on this earth and then gave it to us in His Name and He sent His Spirit to indwell us to enable us to live in authority in this earth. Matthew 28:[18] And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. John 16:[7] Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. Consider who you are in Christ. You are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. You are a son (child) of God. Jesus said the Father would love us just like He loved Him. Jesus said whatsover we would ask in His name that we would receive it. And greater works that He did we would do. John 14:[12] Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. Learn your authority in Christ and use it to the glory of God the Father. Jesus said He would be glorified if we bear much fruit (in relation to our prayers being answered). Jesus did everything as a man in the earth. You can do greater works that Jesus did in this world. But you have to believe it is within your legal right according the Word of God. Jesus did it as a man, so can we (He was our example). Don't let the devil lie to you and tell you everything is what it is so you may as well just go along with it. No! We have the authority and ability through the name of Jesus by the power of the Holy Spirit to take charge over the affairs of life in the earth. We are created in His image and likeness and He has given us His Spirit to enable us to do it with His authority. Jesus did every miracle as a man under the Old Covenant. Now we are to do even more as a man under the New Covenant through Him. Consider this with your heart and fulfill your purpose in the earth. Shalom
  7. Genesis 11:[6] And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. [7] Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech.
  8. True. Matthew 6:[9] After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. [10] Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
  9. Is there a spirit world? Is there a God? Is there a devil? 1 Corinthians 15:[44b] There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
  10. Is it not using both simultaneously? Romans 12:[1] I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. [2] And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Excellent point.
  11. Whatever your need, God can meet it. Can you believe it? If you can, He can. Shalom Mark 9:[23] Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.
  12. And they all reflect the greatest of all commandments indeed. To know God is the purpose of all. Shalom Mark 12:[28] And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all? [29] And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: [30] And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. [31] And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.
  13. Seek God the Father with your whole heart and He will reveal Himself as well as His purpose for you in Jesus Christ the Son. Colossians 1:[12] Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: [13] Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: [14] In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: [15] Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: [16] For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: [17] And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. This verses of scripture literally explain the purpose of life. Shalom
  14. If something in life is good, then it is God. He only desires good for us. The good news of Jesus Christ is that good is available for us. John 3:[16] For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Acts 10:[38] How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. All power in heaven and earth has been given to Jesus. And He has given us His authority. If we aren't using it, it's not His fault. Jesus is now seated at the right hand of the Father waiting until His enemies be made His footstool. We are the feet of Jesus in the earth. Jesus is waiting on us. He finished His work. 1 John 3:[8] He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

  15. Amen. Thank you for confirming the Word for me today. God is good and all He does is good. Always has and always will. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Genesis 1:[31] God saw everything that He had made, and behold, it was very good and He validated it completely. And there was evening and there was morning, a sixth day. Jesus, the express image of the fullness of God, only did good. Acts 10:[38] How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with great power; and He went around doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, because God was with Him. Jesus came to the earth to only do good. 1 John 3:[8b] The Son of God appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil. If something in the earth isn't good, it isn't God nor is it Jesus. Not good? Not God. Shalom
  16. Point taken. Works does have a context along with faith. Shalom. James 2:[14] What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? [15] If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, [16] And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? [17] Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. [18] Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. [19] Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. [20] But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? [21] Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? [22] Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect? [23] And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God. [24] Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only. [25] Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way? [26] For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
  17. Amen. And it is by faith. Shalom
  18. His own. Those who are His in truth (spirit). Indeed. Shalom
  19. We all go back to the dust. What we do in the spirit only matters. Psalm 103:13 Just as a father loves his children, So the Lord loves those who fear and worship Him [with awe-filled respect and deepest reverence]. 14 For He knows our [mortal] frame; He remembers that we are [merely] dust. 15 As for man, his days are like grass; Like a flower of the field, so he flourishes. 16 For the wind passes over it and it is no more, And its place knows it no longer.
  20. Atonement is personal and sacrifice is corporate in the old covenant. The new covenant is both. Shalom
  21. We go to be with Christ immortal. Shalom John 14:[1] Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. [2] In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. [3] And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
  22. Matthew 10:[34] Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
  23. Follow the Spirit. He will direct you. Shalom John 16:[13] Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
  24. Be angry and do not sin. The context of sin here is in accordance with anger. Esau was angry. Why? Ephesians 4:[23] And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; [24] And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. [25] Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another. [26] Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: [27] Neither give place to the devil. Genesis 25:[30] And Esau said to Jacob, Feed me, I pray thee, with that same red pottage; for I am faint: therefore was his name called Edom. [31] And Jacob said, Sell me this day thy birthright. [32] And Esau said, Behold, I am at the point to die: and what profit shall this birthright do to me? [33] And Jacob said, Swear to me this day; and he sware unto him: and he sold his birthright unto Jacob. [34] Then Jacob gave Esau bread and pottage of lentiles; and he did eat and drink, and rose up, and went his way: thus Esau despised his birthright. Esau had no respect to his birthright in the future. He wanted the present meal to eat. This gave place to the devil Shalom
