Not that I am right, but this is how I view some things Ecclesiastes 1:9 (KJV) The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun. Yep, history is cyclic, repeated time and again. Religion is a problem in the secular world. It is not a personal relationship with the one true Living God who died in our place. This is what separates religion from Christianity and eternal life. Many historical wars and genocides have their roots deep in religion. John 16:1-4 reminds me of Islam and Catholicism. We are witnessing a successful ecumenical movement bringing the Protestors back under the so-called umbrella of the one true universal church. You know, the one responsible for the inquisitions and crusades, murdering probably millions. The replacement theology church that backed Hitler. Who and what made the Dark Age dark, with a reformation needed? The ecumenical leader of the globe’s largest religion, setting on many waters, more prosperous than many nations, is focused on the globe 2nd largest religion for unity, solely on the only commonality in significant faiths, Abraham, officially signing letters of agreement with Islam sects to unify a one world religion, nicknamed Chrislam. 2 Timothy 4:3 (KJV) For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; Yep, how many churches today have the prosperity gospel and feel good about yourselves gospel taught and preached to them? A socialist Mother Earth Pope preaching unity, the environment, and climate change, never anything about Jesus Christ and the Gospel. He has said many ludicrous things, such as baptizing ETs, if you are a good person, you will go to heaven, etc. Dozens of popular multi-millionaire televangelists are scratching itchy ears, leading their congregations astray; Kenneth Copeland, Joel Osteen, Benny Hinn, Rick Warren, Paula White, Joyce Meyer, and TD Jakes, to name but a few, avoiding sound doctrine for riches of this world. In hindsight, we can follow along with the letters Jesus wrote to the seven churches in Rev. 2-3, the history of the church age written in advance, and even date them. The Laodicean church age precisely describes the age we are living in. Shewwe, rereading this, it sounds like a rant.

Did the Broligarchy grab the Pulpit on the way to Washington?

In another thread, I just now posted something that may be related to mainstream Christianity, the occult, and contribute to America. Let me know your thoughts. https://www.worthychristianforums.com/topic/309677-ten-horns-ten-kings/?page=4#findComment-3843362 -
Good morning, There are so many unexpected twists and turns watching God’s end-time plan unfold, with the players, nations, and events transpiring. Daniel 2:21 (KJV) And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding: The Lord gives us an imperative: what are we to be watching for? Mark 13:35 (KJV) Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning: [emphasis] Many observe that a Jewish 3rd Temple must be standing for the Beast to desecrate it at the midpoint of the tribulation. The Temple priests have been identified and trained for service, all implements have been made and ready for sacrificial service, and the unblemished red Heffer was finally bred in Texas of all places. It only takes the ashes of one or two unblemished red Heffer's to last centuries. The Bible does not say or imply when the 3rd Temple will be built. Many assume it will be rebuilt under the auspice of the seven-year peace confirmation the Antichrist confirms. Only three problems prevent the immediate Temple construction: location, location, and location. Several things or events could immediately remove that obstacle at any time. Witnessing God’s plan unfold right before our eyes is fascinating. Considering the field presented vying for my vote, I was an ardent Trump supporter. There is some strangeness transpiring that I do not comprehend. Overall, I think Trump has made many wise choices for his department heads, IMO. With two assignation attempts under his belt and his age, you would think Trump would reevaluate his eternal spiritual condition and who he surrounds himself with for personal and national spiritual advice. The first name to come to mind would be Franklin Graham, or comparable theology, NO! Are you aware of whom Trump appointed for the newly created Faith Adviser Office? Paula White – Cain. Why would Trump appoint such a person with known ties to the false prosperity gospel, grave soaking, and necromancy? Interesting and potentially telling? President Trump Announces Appointments to the White House Faith Office – The White House Reading these two official appointments above, how many Biblical things come to mind (from church leader requirements as Christ as the Head to prophecy)?

Ownership of Holy Sites
Dennis1209 replied to Neighbor's topic in Do you want to just ask a question?
As my wife quibbles, “Dennis, it is just too complex for you!” In short, Israel owns all the land. God gave them the irrefutable and everlasting land grant. Archeology alone proves beyond a shadow of a doubt Israel was there millennia before Palestine and Muslims. But, to comment on your question, I would liken it to US property, parks, and heritage sites with the UN flag planted on them. Who owns, operates, and sets the land usage and entrance rules? The answer is interesting. Legally, global embassies are sovereign nations sitting on foreign soil, so legally and technically, they own that piece of property, have immunity from prosecution for violating any laws of the host country, and have diplomatic immunity. They can build, modify, or do as they will with the property. Israel is another story. God gave Israel their land forever, and it is against God and their own Jewish law to concede, voluntarily forfeit, or give away any portion of it to anyone. The globe continues to try to partition it into land for peace deals. By force, Israel retook control of all Jerusalem in the 1967 War. With a foolish agreement of appeasement, Israel allowed Jordan control of the Temple Mount. Also, for Muslim appeasement and to prevent an Islamic uprising, they are thus far allowing the Dome of the Rock and Al Aqsa Mosque on the probable Temple Mount. Neither the Koran nor the Hadith make any claims or mention of Jerusalem as a holy site; therefore, the Muslims have no claim it is their 3rd most holy place. Some believe the Antichrist is the one who will broker the deal for the 3rd Temple as part of the seven-year peace agreement he confirms, and it could be. These Abraham Accords are very interesting in that aspect. -
A general allegorical rule is that the olive tree represents spiritual Israel, and the fig tree represents national Israel. The Lord specifically deals with the geographical nation and boundaries of Israel, with the land greatly expanding in the not-too-distant future, IMO. The following verses relate to the Great Tribulation, as I view it. Two-thirds of Israel will perish in unbelief, with a one-third remnant crying out to Jesus to save them. Zechariah 13:8 (KJV) And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the LORD, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein. 9 And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God. As I view it, the keyword is a remnant; God has always preserved a remnant of His chosen people. Romans chapter eleven discusses God's relationship with Israel and the Gentiles, emphasizing that God has not abandoned His people, as evidenced by the remnant of faithful Israelites. The author, identifying as an Israelite, references the prophet Elijah, who felt alone in his faith, but God assured him that He had preserved a faithful remnant. The text explains that Israel has not achieved what it sought, while the elect have received grace. It highlights the spiritual blindness of many Israelites, which has allowed salvation to extend to the Gentiles, provoking jealousy among the Jews. The author encourages Gentiles to remain humble, recognizing that they have been grafted into God's promise, while warning them of the consequences of unbelief. The passage concludes with a declaration of God's wisdom and mercy, stating that all have been included in unbelief so that God can show mercy to all. It affirms that God's gifts and calling are irrevocable, and ultimately, all Israel will be saved, as prophesied. Timothy J. It is too lengthy read every post, but thus far I have not seen a definition of what is believed to be called Replacement Theology, a.k.a. supersessionism, a doctrine of the Roman Catholic Church, and others. Whereas Israel lost all their blessings and promises because they rejected and killed their Messiah, and thereby, the church inherited those blessings and promises. This perverted theology is not a new view in historical terms, it goes all the way back to some Ante-Nicene fathers in the fourth century, and is well documented, with a single example following. Replacement theology, also known as supercessionism, posits that God replaced the Jewish people with the church after Israel rejected Jesus as the Messiah. This doctrine interprets biblical promises to Israel as being fulfilled spiritually through the church, which is referred to as the "New Israel." The origins of replacement theology can be traced back to early Christian writings, notably by figures like Tertullian and Justin Martyr, who argued against Judaism. The Council of Nicea further solidified anti-Judaic sentiments within the church. Allegorical interpretation of scripture, particularly by Origen, played a significant role in shaping this theology. Critics argue that this view undermines the biblical promises made to Israel, as outlined in Romans 9-11, which emphasize Israel's ongoing significance in God's plan. The article concludes that a proper understanding of scripture maintains a distinct purpose for both Israel and the church, rejecting the notion of replacement theology. That is well said and timely. I have heard it said, “Listening is an art.” In my military career, to stress a critical component, the opening command was “LISTEN UP.” As you suggest, whenever the Bible starts with “behold,” a special emphasis on listening is implied. As pointed out, hearing and listening are not the same. Effective communication cannot be achieved without BEHOLD; listening and paying attention is significant. Growing up, I cannot tell you how many times my parents admonished me. Dennis, you do not listen. The same is true in my 45-year marriage, Dennis. Are you listening to me? Many times, I am hearing, but it goes in one ear and out the other (selective hearing). As a supervisor in my former career field, listening and communicating during performance ratings were vital skills for the two parties. How I hear and behold affects their lives, ratings, jobs, future, and performance bonuses, if any. Listening, instead of hearing, often will clear up preconceived notions, misconceptions, and strife. How often do people only want to hear what they want to hear, drowning out the rest? Cherry-picking something from scripture out of context. Or, for political purposes, to twist the context of what was said and trash the opposition. If I am any example, hearing is one of the five senses I am endowed with. Listening is not a natural process but must be matured and developed with effort over time. “Dennis, you just don’t listen!”

I read this verse as stating that the Ten Kings preceded the Antichrist and gave him their power. I could be wrong, though. Revelation 17:12 And kthe ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. 13 These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast. As you mention, I view the A/C becoming the Beast with ascension from the pit, on or shortly before the Temple's abomination of desolation and desecration. Again, I am not dogmatic and would not argue over it.

Hi Ray, That is also my view; I am not a date setter. We cannot know the day and hour of our Lord's return, but we are commanded to see the season of His return. Not to start another debate on pre-mid- and post-rapture, but in my exegesis, if the Tribulation is near, how much nearer is the harpazo? Date setters do a disservice to Christianity, and the unsaved mock us and say where is the promise of His coming, making us look like lunatics. Israel was expected to know the season of His first Advent, and Israel as a nation rejected His arrival. The Lord even sent His forerunner, John the Baptist, to prepare His way. If the Sanhedrin, Pharisees, and Sadducees knew and believed the OT, they could have predicted the arrival of their Messiah to the Day. I believe there will be no signs of Jesus's imminent return for His Church, but a series of prophecies detailing the nearness of the seven-year Tribulation we are to watch for and recognize. As you rightly point out, we are to be ready, watching, and waiting for His return at any time. Matthew 25:13 (KJV) Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh. I find Jesus's use of "day nor the hour" intriguing. It could have been said in a much broader sense, but He narrows it down to a specific, short time frame.

DISTRACTIONS-ENTERTAINMENT-REALITY A topic that does not seem to get the attention it deserves here on Worthy is a global (one-world confederation) government, particularly with our generation's in-your-face plans and dates implemented now. 21252030 Agenda for Sustainable Development web.pdf United Nations: United - Characterized by unity; being or joined into a single entity, one entity, one government. We are witnessing a back-and-forth game, the US vs. the UN. In Trump's 1st term, pulling the US out of UN alphabet organizations; in 2020, Biden reversed those withdrawals, and in 2025, Trump reversed Biden back and forth. It seems to indicate a spiritual battle of the soul of America, our choice, and our destination. I cannot help but compare our predicament with other Biblical examples that preceded God's warnings and coming judgment, such as Nineveh, Babylon, and Israel. The Bible has much to say in Daniel and Revelation about a worldwide ruler with global influence, which we call the Beast, Antichrist, with many other names, titles, and identifiers. The Lone Ranger (Antichrist) and his sidekick Tonto (False Prophet) are prophesized to exert significant economic and spiritual control. Most likely beginning during a time of mutual global panic and chaos. The world is now starting to scream for a man with a plan to solve the escalating and mounting global woes, energy solutions, food, wars, disparages, inflation and costs, and inequities. What will the next perceived (false flag) or global crisis bring about? Undoubtedly, it will be the Patriot Act and COVID-19 initiatives on super-global steroids. One historically glaring cause of many problems and conflicts stems from beliefs and religions. Millions are murdered in the name of religion, and it continues: the inquisitions, crusades, Salem witch hunts, Islam, terrorism, and even abortion qualify. When looking at and considering the numerous names and titles of the Antichrist, it reeks of what the United Nations is. This Little Horn arises amid ten more prominent horns, or kings (Dan. 7:8). His oratory skills will make the mesmerizing Hitler seem like a Babbler. To whom are his oratory ravings and dark sentences initially directed, and does A/C pop up out of nowhere, or does he rise through the ranks of an established organization? I prefer the latter, the UN Secretary-General or possibly the President of the European Union. What is the United Nations slogan O'Biden adopted in his presidential campaign, Build Back Better? You must first tear down the existing to rebuild. It is ominous that only one religion, the world's largest religion, setting on many waters, more affluent than many countries, holds a non-voting seat at the table of politics and global dominion. Why? What happened to the division of the church-state? What is religion doing in poly-ticks (many bloodsuckers)? How can we miss it? The globalists, the Vatican, the Pope, and the United Nations are screaming and acting to get rid of national sovereignty, patriotism, and borders. Again why? Most assuredly, it is not for benevolent or humanitarian reasons. The Vatican and UN celebrate and promote Mother Earth worship, the creation, not the Creator. If we are indeed living in the tail end of the end times, as I suspect, I would not anticipate any long-time established bureaucracies to dissolve or change their stripes. Are all these things happening now in our generation? Are these events real and tangible, or is it conspiracy theory and a figment of my imagination?

The Faith of President Donald Trump - CBN
Dennis1209 replied to Patticats's topic in Biblical Topics
Hi Patticats. I apologize for derailing your thread; as hard as I try not to, it must be ingrained in my DNA. I think President Trump is the most unique president in several ways. God places and removes kings and presidents according to His plans, purposes, and will, and Trump is no exception. Daniel 2:21 (KJV) And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding: I do not think it would be out in left field to view Trump’s 2016 victory as a miracle, defying all expectations, forecasts, and odds. Matthew 7:20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. [Who are the them?] I cannot and will not judge whether or not Trump has saving faith and a personal relationship with Jesus. Only the Lord and Trump know for sure. Viewing his actions from the outside, as your video points out, he certainly is not an enemy of God but a friend and ally, fully committed to the Lord’s chosen people in Israel. Not to mention returning to the reason for the season, Merry Christmas, reversing the woke happy holidays, not to offend the liberals and wokes. It is common knowledge it is not politically expedient to openly pronounce Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior. Romans 10:11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. Considering Trump’s 2016 election, two assignation attempts, and other things, I conjecture Trump is under divine protection for the time being. It would be fascinating to know if Trump knows he is an instrument used for God’s plans and purposes. -

Hi Angels, Of course, I do not know the future, but I see the world aligning with scripture. My assumptions about interpreting scripture and comparing it with end-time events have many twists and turns. We know every prophetic event for our generation will occur in God’s perfect timing. Many well-respected scholars and theologians predict and believe the European Union is a key player. They can very well be; everything can change on a dime. Thus far, Europe seems to be losing its nationality and sovereignty through open borders and immigration. The poorer nations are a drag on the European economy, with the Euro-Dollar exchange rate now about 1:1. I do not think it would take much for Europe to develop into a global superpower. It is intriguing to watch all these alignments and changes rapidly taking place. It seems reasonable and logical that the subsequent global crises (or perceived, never waste a good crisis) will usher in the United Nations' new world order economy and UN Agenda 2030. At present, I think we have front-row seats. -

It could be much ado about nothing end-time specific. Then again, it could have everything to do with the formation of the Ten Horns (ten kings). Some powerful and influential NGOs are out there, such as the Club of Rome, WEF, etc., not to mention the behind-the-scenes secret societies that meet to discuss and plan world dominance and control. I do not believe in coincidences, especially in plain sight. The representation of the Capitol Dome, Washington Monument (phallus), Washington D.C. pentagram street layout, one dollar bill pyramid and the all-seeing eye, Georgia Guide Stones, UN. Agenda 2030, to name a few. Recently, I posted a thought on the one world economic system that is now implemented. Central and global banks have experimented with using digital currency only, which was a success. Some countries are currently in the process of converting. How a cashless society is shaping the future of payments | Zimpler We in the US are being bombarded and persuaded by banks to go completely digital, with constant privacy notices that take away any semblance of privacy. It is not coming; it is here. Many complex global trade agreements exist between nations, with thousands of pages of requirements and obligations. Was that great sucking sound of America losing its industry, manufacturing, and jobs Ross Perot warned about a coincidence. International trade agreements and their member countries Why not simplify it and clean up the mess for global control for Ten Kings with no kingdom (subjects) yet? Is it another coincidence that Trump and the world are discussing a trade alignment similar to the 1973 NGO Club of Rome proposal? It is incredible all global alignments have, and are, coming together right off the pages of scripture in our generation. Everything from the reestablishment of Israel in one day (May 14, 1948) to them now being a dominant military force and becoming a cup of trembling. To the military-geopolitical alignments of the belligerents of the Gog-Magog invasion, and 2 Tim. 3:1-7. -

I can only speak for myself. I have strong political leanings, and you might say I vote for the lesser of evils in this day and age. I vote for the candidate that best represents my beliefs, values, and Christian conscience. I cannot judge a book by its cover. Only Trump and the Lord know if he is saved. Matthew 7:20 (KJV) Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Trump has definitely received a couple of wake-up calls (close shaves) with his mortality. I am sure that God appointed Trump for this time in history to carry out His will and purposes, whether Trump is aware of it or not. Daniel 2:21 (KJV) And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding: To be brief, some things Trump has been doing lately are giving me pause. -

Dennis1209 replied to WeWait4Him's topic in Have a problem? Looking for advice?
My heart goes out to you, as I am in the same boat, so to speak. Long story short, I was a decades-long alcoholic, did not take my children to church, or raised them in a Christian environment. I have so many worries and regrets about my children’s souls that I failed with the most important, precious gift ever. I will not detail it, but a miracle happened to me on November 24, 2016. If you are interested, I have my testimony posted here on Worthy. Sharing our testimonies of what Christ has done for us is what we are commanded to do and an honor and privilege. I cannot return in time and correct myself and my negligent errors. The Bible says not to dwell on the past; move forward. That is a hard thing to do concerning my children and where their everlasting souls will go if they do not accept what Jesus did for them. It hurts me to tears at the very core of my being. I cannot save anyone; only the Lord can and does. My job now is to plant the seed of the Gospel and let the Holy Spirit convict those who hear the Gospel and my testimony. My job after Salvation is to be the salt and light, to walk the walk of a Christian, and it will be seen and noticed. Hopefully, this will provoke someone to be jealous, having the peace, love, and joy in me through Christ Jesus our Lord. Our children are independent (free will) and sometimes resist authority, parents, and what is best for them. I know if I become the proverbial Bible Thumper, I will drive them away and distance them from me. I know they have seen the 180-degree transformation that happened to me in one day. I have asked myself, how can anyone be happy in eternity, knowing or perhaps even seeing where their lost loved ones are? I do not know and cannot answer that question for myself. God always answers a Christian's prayer. Sometimes, it is immediately granted; sometimes, it is not because it is selfish or not in God’s will, and many times, it is “waiting” for the Lord’s perfect timing. James 5:16 (KJV) Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. Proverbs 3:5-6 (KJV) Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Prayer is powerful, and changes things. God bless you. -
I am simply stating the current state of human affairs and how I envision and interpret the near global system unfolding according to God’s word. Firstly, by statement or implication, where do you think the M.O.B. is VISIBLE? The M.O.B. could be a tattoo, an eye patch emulating the A/C eye loss, a sub-dermal R.F.I.D. chip, or something entirely different. For many scriptural reasons, I heavily lean toward a type of R.F.I.D. chip, the size of or smaller than a grain of rice, which has already been implemented for pets, high-security areas, people prone to be kidnapped for ransom, etc. It sounds as if we are on the same page with our thoughts. For brevity, I omitted the mark of the Beast. With the Biblical account, I cannot envision any other way of global commerce without the mark. I assume advanced technology and artificial intelligence are the only ways to control the world—the image of the Beast reeks of advanced technology alone. Many former primitive tribes deep in the jungles of Africa and South America now have smartphones and towers, enabling internet access. Phones and towers are paid for and supplied by their respective governments; why? Now, with Elon Musk’s constellation of hundreds of global satellites, every square inch of the planet has internet access. 5G technology will soon be antiquated. We now see the push and eventual requirement to be plugged into the system with biometric information, fingerprint, facial recognition, etc. I have no unique insight, either. I only know the sequence of events and technology unfolding to implement a global, one-world system that one individual can completely control. Everything from banking to grocery shopping is moving away from in-person to being done remotely. Soon, in the US, I will not need to press two to hear or read it in Spanish.

Opinion: I would not call it an investment, but gambling, and there are the professional and amateur players. You can even bet the game is rigged one way or another. I will not gamble with what was hard-earned. Banking and Ponzi schemes have been around for a long time; banking is a sleight-of-hand Ponzi scheme. Creating fiat money out of thin air and charging usury for money that had never existed. On a ledger, accounting debts and loans are assets. It is easier to bilk and use other people’s money to get rich and make a living than by earning it from production and the physical sweat of thy brow. Our global financial system is, by definition, fiat: Money (paper or coin) made legal tender and assigned a value by government decree, with a commodity value lower than its face value, not convertible into other specie of equivalent value, and generally with a lower purchasing power than nominally equivalent specie based. This fiat system cannot define what a dollar is or what it will purchase. Our US Congress gave up its Constitutional sole authority to coin and regulate money to private for-profit monarchies. Fiat representation is deceitful and cannot represent a real thing backed by anything, not even an I.O.U. Nothing. Today, it is the same old story repeated from time immemorial, debasing and devaluing. Silver coinage to clad (1964), copper pennies to zinc (1986), etc., now takes 3₵ to produce a 1₵ zinc penny. Not to mention gold and silver certificates and the promise to redeem them for something real and tangible, a thing of the past. Gold and silver coinage are the real deal and are definable. A one-ounce gold coin will purchase the same thing as in 1913. Buy low, sell high: I heavily invested my retirement in physical possession of US gold and Silver Eagle coinage. I tripled my investment in a few short years and purchased something tangible: my home and acreage. How does a government tax fiat profits on real money? Gold and silver have always been tangible, valuable, and always will be real money. Shortly, the globe will initiate a cashless economic system that uses ones and zeros. Precious metals will not go away anytime soon.

Of course, I do not know how the Lord’s plan will play out. We are commanded to watch, therefore (watchmen on the wall), watch for what. I assume we are watching and waiting for the Lord’s return and always be ready. We are given many global conditions and alignments to watch for, especially the terminal generation leading up to A/C signing a seven-year peace agreement. Many believe the Ten Toes (Ten Kings) are a confederation of ten European nations, and it could be. I side with the globe divided into ten economic zones (oligarchies), a global modification of the many trade agreements currently in place. These Ten Kings, who have no kingdom yet, come before the Antichrist, have something he needs, and hand it over to him. We can see this scenario in implementing the UN Agenda 2030 right before our eyes. 21252030 Agenda for Sustainable Development web.pdf The Bible predicts the A/C will control all buying and selling (commerce) globally. An Army of people could not accomplish that. It would have to be aided by a digital currency and AI to make instant decisions with some social credit score and what and how much is being purchased and sold. At any rate, no matter how God’s plan unfolds, we are witnessing it all taking shape right now. Interesting times!

I will not bore anyone again with my detailed thoughts. But considering what is happening right now, the first official rung of government disclosures, reports, and congressional investigations, I think you are asking the wrong question about another planet and out there. Consider revising the question: “What would be the implications of perceived extraterrestrial life manifesting on our planet? “ [panspermia] Consider what the Bible has to say: Matthew 24:24 (KJV) For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. [Plural, more than one Antichrist and False Prophet] 2 Thessalonians 2:9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, Deuteronomy 13:1-3 If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder, 2 And the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve them; 3 Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the LORD your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul.

Yes, I would agree that 99.99% of illegal migrants are looking for better opportunities when their first act is committing a crime, criminal opportunities, and activity. Of that 99%, what percentage are drug cartels, MS-13, Latin Kings, gang-bangers, drug mules, and human traffickers? Those released from their country’s prisons migrate here to improve their home country's, have you owe me mentality, are loaded with diseases, etc. Draining our economy and resources, kicking military veterans out of housing for them. Yep, there are better criminal opportunities here, and liberals and national traitors are supporting it for cheap labor, power, and votes. At home and in Europe, it is part of the UN Agenda 2030, Build Back Better, to destroy national sovereignty. We have laws and a legal process for immigration. In my opinion, we cannot deport fast enough, and it should be financed on the offender's dime. The Lord apportioned nations and boundaries, setting and removing kings as He pleases and for His plans and purposes. God is still on the throne and in control.

I will not discuss my eschatological end-time views of things and events taking shape, but Trump's banter about Canada and Greenland is interesting. Trump sent an envoy to Greenland in the guise of national security and who knows what else. They were greeted in Greenland by many wearing MAGA hats. It appears to me that in the tribulation, the globe will be divided into ten global economic trading zones that will be handed over to the Antichrist. Could we be seeing the beginning?

Top of the morning to you, Marilyn, or, if you are South of the equator, bottom of the morning to you, LOL. I have exhausted my study on the word “Taken” (paralambano) in Luke 17:34-36 and Matt. 24:40, 41 and elsewhere with several lexicons (LTW, Strong’s, TDNTA, BDAG, DBL Greek, EDNT, and more, and with other Biblical passages. It cannot be distinguished which of the two are taken by the word alone. @AdHoc makes a strong case for his view, and I will not discount his wisdom and exegesis. However, I do not like eating crow or unbaked humble pie, LOL. Therefore, for the time being, I will stick with my original thoughts until the cows come home. I have no cows so that it may be a while. From what I can tell, the two camps of thought are equally divided on who the one left is. For your boredom, I have inserted some of my notes: 17:34–36 Jesus stated that some will be taken into judgment. In some parts of the world it will be nighttime (people will be in … bed); in other parts it will be daytime (people will be doing daily tasks, such as grinding grain). The taking away means taken into judgment, not taken up in the Rapture. The ones left are those who will enter into the kingdom. (Some mss. add the words of v. 36, “Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left.” Most likely the verse was inserted to harmonize this passage with Matt. 24:40.)11 John A. Martin, “Luke,” in The Bible Knowledge Commentary: An Exposition of the Scriptures, ed. J. F. Walvoord and R. B. Zuck, vol. 2 (Wheaton, IL: Victor Books, 1985), 249. I can hear someone saying to me, “Well, preacher, you have finally painted yourself into a corner. You said the church and the Rapture are not in the Olivet Discourse, but here they are. Two shall be in the field; one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.” Well, my friend, He still is not talking about the Rapture. After all, what is our Lord talking about here? “As the days of Noe were.” Who was taken away in the days of Noah? “They knew not until the flood came, and took them all away.” They perished in the Flood. This is not referring to the Rapture when the church will be taken out of the world. Rather, this pictures the removing from the earth by judgment those who are not going to enter the millennial Kingdom.1 1 McGee, J. Vernon. 1991. Thru the Bible Commentary: The Gospels (Matthew 14-28). Electronic ed. Vol. 35. Nashville: Thomas Nelson. And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: (Matthew 25:32) And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. (Matthew 25:33) Two men will be in the field; one will be taken away in judgment, the other will be left to enter the Millennium. Two women will be grinding at the mill; they will be instantly separated. One will be swept away by the flood of judgment; the other left to enjoy the blessings of Christ’s reign. (Vv. 40 and 41 are often used as a warning to the unsaved, in reference to the Rapture—the first phase of Christ’s coming when He takes all believers to heaven and leaves all unbelievers behind for judgment. While that might be a valid application of the passage, the context makes it clear that the interpretation has to do with Christ’s coming to reign.)11 MacDonald, W. (1995). Believer’s Bible Commentary: Old and New Testaments (A. Farstad, Ed.; p. 1297). Thomas Nelson. Excellent video: Deleted per TOS Verses 40 and 41 are tied into verse 39. Based on verse 39, that can mean ONLY that those who are taken away are taken away in judgment. They are the unrighteous ones. And who is left? Well, I will ask you a question, who was left alive in Noah’s time? It was the righteous ones, and they inherited the cleansed earth, the redeemed ones of the Lord. So shall it be at the end of the Second Coming. The wicked are taken away, judged, and the righteous ones are left to inherit the cleansed earth under the reign of the King Messiah in the Millennial Kingdom. It is so simple that I wonder how people can’t see it. This is the Second Coming, not Rapture. In other words, the wicked and non-believers, those that did not repent, will all be killed off. Only the righteous and believers will be allowed to enter the millennium.

1. “Azazel” (ʿăzāʾzēl); “He-Goats”/“Goat Demons” (śāʿı̂r; śĕʿı̂rı̂m)63 Leviticus 16 and its Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur) ritual is the backdrop for these fascinating terms. 6439 עֲזָאזֵל (ʿǎzā(ʾ)·zēl): n.[masc.] [oth n.pr. pagan demon god ]; ≡ Str 5799; TWOT 1593—LN 53.1–53.15 scapegoat, i.e., a goat released (not sacrificed) into the desert as a ceremony of releasing sin from the community out to a desolate place (Lev 16:8, 10,26+), note: the name of the goat may refer to a desert demon, or Satan; (asv, rsv, nrsv, nab, njb, reb, Tanakh) Azazel; (neb) the Precipice1 1 James Swanson, Dictionary of Biblical Languages with Semantic Domains : Hebrew (Old Testament) (Oak Harbor: Logos Research Systems, Inc., 1997). 7And [Aaron] shall take the two goats, and he shall present them before Yahweh at the tent of assembly’s entrance. 8Then Aaron shall cast lots for the two goats: one lot for Yahweh and one for Azazel. 9And Aaron shall present the goat on which the lot for Yahweh fell, and he shall sacrifice it as a sin offering. 10But he must present alive before Yahweh the goat on which the lot for Azazel fell to make atonement for himself, to send it away into the desert to Azazel. (leb ) Many English translations have “scapegoat” or “the goat that goes away” where the leb reads “Azazel.”64 While the Hebrew ʿăzāʾzēl may be translated these ways, there are good reasons to opt for “Azazel” in the passage. The word ʿăzāʾzēl is actually a proper name. Leviticus 16:8–10 explains that one goat is designated “for Yahweh” and one “for Azazel.” The parallel phrasing indicates that “Azazel” is a proper name here just like “Yahweh.” But if Azazel is a proper name, then who is Azazel? Azazel is regarded as the name of a demon in the Dead Sea Scrolls and other ancient Jewish books. In fact, in one scroll (4Q 180, 1:8) Azazel is the leader of the angels that sinned in Genesis 6:1–4. The same description appears in the book of 1 Enoch (8:1; 9:6; 10:4–8; 13:1; 54:5–6; 55:4; 69:2).65 In his detailed study of the etymology of the name “Azazel,” Hayim Tawil draws attention to ancient Near Eastern comparative evidence that makes considering Azazel a demonic entity comprehensible.66 Specifically, Tawil explores Mesopotamian texts dealing with demons (“children of the netherworld”) who were believed to exit the realm of the dead through holes and fissures in the earth.67 Once in the world of the living, “demons and other powers of hostility most common dwelling place is the ‘steepe-land’ (Sumerian EDIN = Akkadian ṣēru) … also to be understood as one of the symbolic designations of the netherworld.”68 Tawil cites numerous examples of this terminology to make the telling observation that certain magical rituals and incantations bear striking similarities to both the vocabulary in Leviticus 16 and Azazel passages in the Semitic (Ethiopic) text of 1 Enoch. Further, he traces the Sumerian-Akkadian netherworld language to the domain of Mōt, the god of death at Ugarit. Tawil’s research establishes that both biblical vocabulary and later Second Temple Jewish discussion of Azazel were firmly rooted in early Mesopotamian material about demonic powers of darkness.69 The association of the desert wilderness as a place connected to the realm of the dead also lurks behind Leviticus 17:7: “So they shall no more sacrifice their sacrifices to goat demons, after whom they whore.” This passage’s immediate proximity to Leviticus 16 is striking. A conceptual connection seems evident: In the Day of Atonement ritual, the goat for Yahweh—the goat that was sacrificed—purges the impurities caused by the people of Israel and purifies the sanctuary. The goat for Azazel was sent away after the sins of the Israelites were symbolically placed on it. The point of the goat for Azazel was not that something was owed to the demonic realm, as though a ransom was being paid. The goat for Azazel banished the sins of the Israelites to the realm outside Israel.… The high priest was not sacrificing to Azazel. Rather, Azazel was getting what belonged to him: sin.70 Milgrom likewise notes the connection between demons and the wilderness in Mesopotamian thought and explains the relevance of that connection for understanding Azazel in Leviticus 16: Elimination rites are therefore employed to drive the demons from human habitations and back to the wilderness, which is another way of saying that the demons are driven back to their point of origin.… Thus, in Israel, the goat for Azazel bearing the sins of Israel, though it is bound for the wilderness, is in reality returning evil to its source, the netherworld.71 1 63 63 Frey-Anthes objects to the term “goat demons” on the grounds that these creatures have no real powers that merit their being worshiped (“Concepts of ‘Demons’ in Ancient Israel,” 47). Why this matters isn’t clear, especially since elsewhere in her article Frey-Anthes wants to deny “demonic” status to any term or entity for which there is no evidence of cult. Here, there is clear evidence of cult (Lev 17:7), but demonic status is denied because she sees no logic in an Israelite sacrificing to that cult. Requiring a cult for divine or “demonic” status is a specious criterion. Israelites had no cult for the rĕpāʾîm, but it is clear they were thought to be sinister supernatural spirits of/from the underworld. Likewise Israelites believed in angels, and believed that some of them fell from holiness, but there is no biblical evidence that they worshiped them (fallen or holy). Cult was no prerequisite to believing in the existence of a supernatural being. 64 64 For example, niv, nasb, kjv. 65 65 Heiser, Unseen Realm, 177. See also B. Tawil notes that the notion that Azazel was a demon (or even Satan) was the dominant view “from the early Post Biblical period till the very late Midrashim … [and] was likewise advocated by both medieval commentators, the rationalist Ibn-Ezra and the mysticist Ramban, respectively” (Tawil, “Azazel,” 45–46). 66 66 Hanson also took note of some of this evidence in his work on 1 Enoch: P. D. Hanson, “Rebellion in Heaven, Azazel, and Euhemeristic Heroes in 1 Enoch 6–11,” JBL 96 (1977): 221–22. Hanson’s discussion took note of the links between Akkadian magical texts and 1 Enoch 10’s description of the binding of Azazel in connection with the ritual of the Day of Atonement. 67 67 Tawil, “ʿAzazel,” 48–49. 68 68 Ibid., 49. 69 69 This sort of elucidation in Second Temple texts of a context for earlier biblical material arises out of familiarity that Second Temple writers had with Mesopotamian material. The connection to Hebrew content in Leviticus 16 suggests strongly that those responsible for the final form of the Torah during the Babylonian period were aware of the same Mesopotamian texts. As we will see in chapter 5, recovering the original context for Gen 6:1–4 follows the same path. Readers should note that just because the Mesopotamian content was lost upon modern commentators does not mean it was lost to ancient scribes. The clear linkages between certain Second Temple texts (e.g., 1 Enoch, the “Book of Giants”) and Mesopotamian material that predated the Torah demonstrates that Second Temple writers were much more in tune with what was going on in these passages than scholars of modern eras who did not have access to the literature of Qumran and Mesopotamia. 70 70 Heiser, Unseen Realm, 177–78. 71 71 Jacob Milgrom, Leviticus 1–16: A New Translation with Introduction and Commentary (AYB; New Haven, CT: Yale University Press, 1991), 1072. The passage is inexplicable unless you’re acquainted with the cosmic geographical ideas we’ve been talking about. The word “Azazel” in the Hebrew text can be translated “the goat that goes away.” This is the justification for the common “scapegoat” translation in some English versions (niv, nasb, kjv). The scapegoat, so the translator has it, symbolically carries the sins of the people away from the camp of Israel into the wilderness. Seems simple enough. However, “Azazel” is really a proper name. In Lev 16:8 one goat is “for Yahweh,” while the other goat is “for Azazel.” Since Yahweh is a proper name and the goats are described in the same way, Hebrew parallelism informs us that Azazel is also a proper name. What needs resolution is what it means. Azazel is regarded as the name of a demon in the Dead Sea Scrolls and other ancient Jewish books. In fact, in one scroll (4Q 180, 1:8) Azazel is the leader of the angels that sinned in Genesis 6:1–4. The same description appears in the book of 1 Enoch (8:1; 9:6; 10:4–8; 13:1; 54:5–6; 55:4; 69:2). The point of the goat for Azazel was not that something was owed to the demonic realm, as though a ransom was being paid. The goat for Azazel banished the sins of the Israelites to the realm outside Israel. Why? Because the ground on which Yahweh had his dwelling was holy. Sin had to be “transported” to where evil belonged—the territory outside Israel, under the control of gods set over the pagan nations. The high priest was not sacrificing to Azazel. Rather, Azazel was getting what belonged to him: sin.1 1 Heiser, M. S. (2015). The Unseen Realm: Recovering the Supernatural Worldview of the Bible (First Edition, pp. 177–178).
