Since we have the really old pie thread going, perhaps we should resurrect this sandwich thread as well. My favorite would have to be a nice BLT ..... or a really good cheeseburger (are cheeseburgers sandwiches?)

I have a perfectly cute little (4 foot) tree that I decorate each year. I have a little stand I place it on so that makes it look taller than it is and I cheat by adding in pine scented thingies so I have the real tree smell lol. Not as easy as a poster but not difficult either

Darn, I plan on putting up my evil tree this coming weekend. I guess I will have to decorate it while re-reading last years thread.

Well if we get to play with light sabers I might be tempted ....... Now bring on the "Christmas and it's trees are evilllllll" threads so I can start decorating my tree.

In regards to your father - don't repay evil with evil. I know it's easy to want to do unto them how they've done to us but that isn't how we should behave. Jesus said to turn the other cheek, remember. In regards to voting - if we all thought that way, then how easily non-believers would be the only ones voicing their opinions/making decisions. It is so very important that Christians show up to vote, that our voices are heard, that our morals and values are upheld as best they can be. If we don't use our "voice" it will soon be taken away from us.

I guess I'm in the minority that believe there's nothing wrong in having a little fun. I celebrate the holidays. I smile at little children dressed up as pumpkins and super heroes and I give them all the candy I can. I decorate a Christmas tree every year. I hang lights and ornaments and give gifts to those I love. I think the Easter bunny is harmless and laugh at all the little babies who cry while meeting him for the first time and some years I even sneak in a picture with him myself. Sometimes as Christians we really do just overly spiritualize everything (IN MY OPINION). Witchcraft and evil activity take place every day of the week, every week of the year. Don't come at me, I'm not planning to post in this thread again. I've said my two cents and I leave you with that.

Some of the funnest memories of my childhood were trick or treating. My dad wasn’t a nice man and we didn’t spend a lot of 1 on 1 time together that was positive, but every Halloween until I was 9-10 he’d take me out and dress up with me.

If we’re doing a top 5: 1. Taco Bell 2. Whataburger 3. Sonic 4. Steak and Shake (though we don’t have one near me) 5. Chick-fil-A

Yes! I love the day after holidays, day after Halloween, day after Easter, day after Valentine’s Day candy sales. The best days. I don't think those rules apply anymore. You don't even need identification in some places. You could also probably vote under the name of someone who passed away years ago and no one would bat an eye. The options are endless.

When I put my cursor on your shield it lists you as a moderator. I think that's just simply how we appear on the new site build. We're the same as before, we're just out in the open now LOL
