The question in the topic was who is the king of the south .I stated that it is assyria- Iraq and the reason for it is because of the previous wars between the king of the north and the king of the south in Daniel. Rome has not invaded Iraq. The United states has twice.

The ten horns are the same as the ten toes. The little horn dwells in the same kingdom as the ten horns .But he is different than the ten and he appears to be more stout,than his fellows.

The little horn is the Israeli government and it's little country The saints in Israel will be persecuted by the Israeli government.Then the Israeli government will be destroyed and everyone in Israel who did not believe the gospel. Then that land is given to the saints which were persecuted and killed for their testimony of Christ and for the word of God .The promised land is given to them for an everlasting possession and they shall be priests of God and of Christ and shall reign with Christ over the nations in the Lords land. The little horn was attempting to change laws before this war .I expect he will resume after it. A host will be given to him ,and the persecution begins.

So you believe the king of the north who dies in 11:45 starts to reign in Daniel 12:1. That's silly. How can the son of perdition reign after he's dead ? False I quoted 2 Peter which is about the day of the Lord just as zech 14 is about the day of the Lord. Zechariah says the Lord shall stand on the Mt of olives on the day of the Lord. You interpret it as the Lord will stand on the Mt of olives for 1000 years which is false .He stand on the Mt of olives on that day he comes.Not 1000 years.
