Cletus, I think I am going to try growing sprouts! I just got a book and it seems simple enough. I shall prepare it for next year's winter. I will have to make lots of room on my window and have my hubby make some shelves! I will have to give you the name of the book I got! Year-Round Indoor Salad Gardening .... We can still use our bibles, but we must be led by the Holy Spirit. There are many believers out there that are also pointing out different Scripture changes, we can come together to compare. Your bible is paper and ink... Hitler and many others throughout history burned bibles. Why did God allow that? Christians were killed for their belief. Persecution spread the Gospel. I believe that God is allowing this to show us and wake us up to tell us what time it is we are living in. Also that many will not take for granted the Word of the Lord anymore and redeem the time. Jesus is the Word (John1:1) and God said His Word is settled in the heavens forever. Psalm 119:89

When I was a child. I also remember those wall tapestries hanging on our church walls, the picture of the Lion and the Lamb. It had the Isaiah 11:6 verse on the bottom of it. They are not the same since 1611. They have been supernaturally changed on your bookshelves, in your homes. The assault mostly on the KJV because it is the most authoritative. I just talked to a friend today asking about her father who is a preacher. I asked her what bible he used and she said he used the KJV. I also asked how long he has been reading his Bible and does he know Scripture well. She answered yes, for over 60 years. I asked her what animal lays down with the lamb, she answered the "lion". I asked her if she could please call her father and ask him the same question. She did, he also answered the "lion" as well as her mother. Both her parents knew their bibles KJV from childhood. They both declared it was the lion that shall lay down with the lamb. They were shocked that it now said the "wolf"... How do you explain that? These are the old people who studied and read, and memorized Scripture. They don't have a faulty memory. What is the explanation?

Come see the cross, where love and mercy meet As the Son of God istricken, And see His foes, lie CRUSHED beneath His feet As the Conqueror is risen, Do you know now that in Genesis 3:15 it says And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her see; It shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. It should have said He shall CRUSH thy head, and thou shall bruise His heel. Jesus conquered death and took the keys of death when He died on the cross for our sins and was resurrected. Now the devil is saying Jesus only bruised his head..... I dare you to go look in your KJV.

You are just twisting my words. I never said those words, if you call it something you want, doesn't mean it is what I was thinking. You calling it something other than what I meant doesn't justify what you thought.

Because these are verses that I have memorized. That was why God said to hide His Word in our hearts. If you never took the time to memorize Scripture, of course you wouldn't know if there was any change. And God created us in His own image, He gave us a sound mind. He also gave us the Holy Spirit to lead us into all Truth. These changes have been slowly coming but increasing more and more.... The biggest assault is on the KJV.

Hello maryjayne, to answer your question, why does it bother me? The significance of the lion being changed to the wolf, Jesus warned us about the ravenous wolves in sheep's clothing. The Lion represents Jesus and the Lion of the Tribe of Judah. Jesus is also represented as the Lamb. The wolf was always represented as the devil. So it basically is insinuating that the devil will lay down with the lamb. The devil is a liar. He is trying to confuse new believers and those who are lukewarm Christians. It is also preparing the masses for the ac. God is allowing these changes, to tell us and warn us what time it is that we are living. There will be many scoffers and mockers. I am not by any means saying that I am a prophet, because I am not, but I believe that I am a watchman, and I see the sword coming. I must warn. I just humbly ask everyone to research and look into your Scriptures. If it means that I will be ridiculed, mocked, scorned, then so be it. I hope that answers your question.

So what you are saying is that we cannot trust ourselves with knowing Scripture? Why should we bother to memorize because we cannot trust ourselves to remember correctly? Could it be possible that those who deny anything has been changed in their bibles is because simply put, they just don't know their Scriptures. Are you daily reading and humbly asking the Holy Spirit to show you the mysteries? The key thing here is humility.

Here is a document by John Bunyan, the author of Pilgrim's Progress. He wrote An Exhortation to Peace and Unity. In it, he quotes from Isaiah 11:6....it says and the lion shall lay down with the lamb. I guess satan and his little minions forgot the works of writers and didn't change it. Did you read my whole comment Jayne? If you read in Matthew 24 and Revelation, it says that satan will deceive many with all signs and lying wonders, that even the very elect might be deceived if it were possible. We put a high regard for the Word of God, yest and that is good, but we should not idolize it to the point that we elevate it above God Himself. God gave us many warnings, He exhorted us to "hide His Word on our hearts". He also warned that there would be a famine for in the land for the Word of God. In Revelation 22:18-19 There is a warning for those who tamper with the Bible, by adding or taking away.... so think on that.... Also, unless you go and start searching and taking the time to test what I am saying, please don't make flippant remarks that it is a lie.

This would be the Mandela Effect. It has always been the Lion will lay down with the Lamb. Our memories are not false. The devil and his wicked people have somehow supernaturally changed our Scriptures, yes even the very old old bibles that you have had in your houses. If you google the verses, the images are almost always the Lion and the lamb. The newer looking ones are with the wolf. Jesus says He was sending us out among wolves, and to beware of the wolves in sheep's clothing. Does that make sense to you? Yes, even the Strong Concordance has been tampered with. Many more tampering of the Scripture verses. But remember, that Jesus is the Word and God's Word is forever written in the heavens, and His Word shall never pass away. The bible is ink and paper. Yes, it is good for correction, reproach, but we should worship the Creator who inspired it. Why is this happening? We are in the last days. This is how God is separating the wheat from the tares, the sheep from the goats.....
