Galatians chapter 2 21 I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!”[e]

I'll go on loving. I don't think I can help you so I'll give up.

By you own words and the bible's your lying. 1 Kings chapter 8 verse 46 "When they sin against you--for there is no one who does not sin--and you become angry with them and give them over to their enemies, who take them captive to their own lands, far away or near; 2 Chronicles chapter 6 verse 36 "When they sin against you--for there is no one who does not sin--and you become angry with them and give them over to the enemy, who takes them captive to a land far away or near; Ecclesiastes chapter 7 verse 20 Indeed, there is no one on earth who is righteous, no one who does what is right and never sins. 1 John chapter 1 verse 8 If anyone claims to be without sin they deceive themselves and the truth is not in them. James chapter 2 verse 10 If anyone keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it.

When I was trying to obey the law, I obeyed as good as you did, and you don't, no one ever obeyed the law except Christ. 1 Corinthians chapter 15 verse 56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. I think you misunderstand the bible, I've studied it over 36 years, and have read it well over a hundred times. I think this verse applies to you and people who say they obey the law and don't. 2 Peter chapter 3 verse 16 He writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters. His letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction. ignorant means lack of knowledge as I said I've read the bible well over 100 times, I've lost count I might be coming to 200

I know nothing about other religions, and don't need to. I agree but the law was never meant to obey, it was to lead us to Christ. Why do you keep sinning then. Isaiah chapter 42 verse 19 Who is blind but my servant, and deaf like the messenger I send? Who is blind like the one in covenant with me, blind like the servant of the LORD? You're not both pastors are you. I don't believe once saved always saved. I believe you have to keep showing love to people. Galatians chapter 5 verse 14 The entire law is summed up in a single command love your neighbor as yourself. Matthew chapter 25 verses 31-46 When the Son of Man comes" in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his throne in heavenly glory. All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. he will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left. Then the King will say to those on his right, Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me. then the righteous will answer him, Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and got visit you? The King will reply, I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me. Then he will say to those on his left, Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.They also will answer, Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you? He will reply, I tell you the truth, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me. Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.

Matthew chapter 21 32 For John came to you to show you the way of righteousness, and you did not believe him, but the tax collectors and the prostitutes did. And even after you saw this, you did not repent and believe him. Luke chapter 3 7 John said to the crowds coming out to be baptized by him, “You brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the coming wrath? 8 Produce fruit in keeping with repentance. And do not begin to say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father.’ For I tell you that out of these stones God can raise up children for Abraham. 9 The ax is already at the root of the trees, and every tree that does not produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire.” 10 “What should we do then?” the crowd asked. 11 John answered, “Anyone who has two shirts should share with the one who has none, and anyone who has food should do the same.” 12 Even tax collectors came to be baptized. “Teacher,” they asked, “what should we do?” 13 “Don’t collect any more than you are required to,” he told them. 14 Then some soldiers asked him, “And what should we do?” He replied, “Don’t extort money and don’t accuse people falsely—be content with your pay.” Jesus said his yoke was easy and his burden light. I did try to obey the law about 25 years, and always studying to find a way I could, but no one but Christ ever obeyed the law, but the law is a very heavy burden. 1 John chapter 4 verse 7 Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. This last verse shows your not born of God and you don't know him.

Typical, of judgmental people who say their Christians. Everyone sins and continues to. Look here at the purpose of the law. 1 Timothy chapter 1 verse7, 8 They want to be teachers of the law but they do not know what they are talking about or what they so confidently affirm. We know that the law is good if one uses it properly. Galatians chapter 3 verses 24,25,23 So the law was put in charge to lead us to Christ that we might be justified by faith. Now that faith has come, we are no longer under the supervision of the law. Before this faith came, we were held prisoners by the law, locked up until faith should be revealed.

You can do things out of love. And you can not do things out of love. Proverbs chapter 10 verse 12 Love covers all wrongs. 1 Peter chapter 4 verse 8 Love covers a great many sins. James chapter 4 verse 12 There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the one who is able to save and destroy. But you--who are you to judge your neighbor? I've seen gay people very loving, and I've also seen many Christians very hate full. But I'm not anyone's judge, as it says.

Should Christians also eat kosher?

No one is justified by any old testament or new testament laws. Proverbs chapter 10 verse 12 Love covers all wrongs. 1 Peter chapter 4 verse 8 Love covers a great many sins. If you think you need to obey any laws, study the bible, if you study enough you'll know the truth. -
Luke chapter 6 verse 32 "If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners love those who love them. 1 John chapter 4 verse 7 Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.

Fasting and circumcision....Old or New covenant?
john1 replied to MMAlex's topic in Do you want to just ask a question?
As long as you help people I don't think it matters if you fast. Isaiah chapter 58 verse 6 "Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke? 1 John chapter 4 verse 7 Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. -
I think you missed what I posted earlier. The only law we need to obey is love your neighbor as yourself. Galatians chapter 5 verse 14 For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: "Love your neighbor as yourself." 1 Timothy chapter 1 verse7, 8 They want to be teachers of the law but they do not know what they are talking about or what they so confidently affirm. If I said we had to not sin, I would be a hypocrite, and that's what most of people here are, because they do sin. Jesus said his yoke was easy and his burden light, if you teach the law your making it heavy, all we need to do is love.

I don't know any who can teach. 1 John chapter 4 verse 7 Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. So if we're born of God, and know God, what difference does sin make. Galatians chapter 2 21 I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!”[e]

Romans chapter 4 13 It was not through the law that Abraham and his offspring received the promise that he would be heir of the world, but through the righteousness that comes by faith. 14 For if those who depend on the law are heirs, faith means nothing and the promise is worthless, 15 because the law brings wrath. And where there is no law there is no transgression. Romans chapter 6 verse 14 For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace. If you try to obey the law you sin more, if you try to love, and pay no attention to sin you sin less. Proverbs chapter 10 verse 12 Love covers all wrongs. 1 Peter chapter 4 verse 8 Love covers a great many sins. James chapter 2 verse 13 because judgment without mercy will be shown to anyone who has not been merciful. Mercy triumphs over judgment.

Galatians chapter 5 verse 4 You who are trying to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace. Romans chapter 7 starting with verse 4 4 So, my brothers and sisters, you also died to the law through the body of Christ, that you might belong to another, to him who was raised from the dead, in order that we might bear fruit for God. 5 For when we were in the realm of the flesh,[a] the sinful passions aroused by the law were at work in us, so that we bore fruit for death. 6 But now, by dying to what once bound us, we have been released from the law so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit, and not in the old way of the written code.

But everyone sins, and continues to. Matthew chapter 7 verses 1-3 Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? (1 John chapter 1 verse 8 If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. James chapter 2 verse 10 For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it.) Now to Matthew chapter 7 verse 4-5 How can you say to your brother, Let me take the speck out of you eye, when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye. Galatians chapter 5 verse 14 The entire law is summed up in a single command love your neighbor as yourself.

IS YOUR "WORSHIP" ACCEPTABLE TO GOD?
john1 replied to LightShinesInTheDarkness's topic in General Discussion
I notice most people don't know what their talking about as far as the law, I know we have it, in both new testament and old. -
Galatians chapter 5 verse 6 The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself in love. Romans chapter 4 verses 13-15 It was not through law that Abraham and his offspring received the promise that he would be heir of the world, but through the righteousness that comes by faith. For if those who live by law are heirs, faith has no value and the promise is worthless, because law brings wrath. And where there is no law there is no transgression.

The one trying not to sin by the law sins more than, the one who practices love. 1 Peter chapter 4 verse 8 Love covers a great many sins. 1 Corinthians chapter 15 verse 56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.
-
Then why do you sin. Proverbs chapter 10 verse 12 Love covers all wrongs.

Do born-again Christians get angry/hateful/bitter?
john1 replied to MyLordsServant's topic in General Discussion
Galatians chapter 2 verse 16 know that a person is not justified by the works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, because by the works of the law no one will be justified. -
God is talking about his heart, here.

I believe this is God's word with God speaking in Proverbs.
