  1. Gay maraige and the church

Wake up, people! Do not be deceived. It is obvious God is not in agreement with gay marriage in the church, can you imagine God blessing such an union? I do not, because He clearly expressed that: marriage = woman + man = one flesh. And He also clearly expressed His opinion about that, not only in scripture but in our hearts as well: an abomination. It is a common practice of the wolves in the churches who are deceiving people, they are doing it to the Gospel as well: "For certain men have crept in unnoticed, who long ago were marked out for this condemnation, ungodly men, who turn the grace of our God into lewdness and deny the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ." - Jude 1:4
  2. It is a hard decision, but if I see she is really interested to flee from evil and reject any shadow of it then I would feel better. We do not have to flirt with temptation, if we are really committed we must cut it right from the start... But without submitting ourselves to God and the Holy Spirit this will not be possible; the flesh must be despised and ignored. "If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!" - Luke 11:13 And loving for real, forgiving one another, helping one another, and seeking to be spiritually minded, reading God's Word and seeking God's help in prayer is a great help. Also, I believe that discussing about your "past adventures" (if any) is not a good idea and can bring unnecessary obstacles and feelings; a good idea is to forget the past and seek to live in Christ. "I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing." - John 15:5
  3. Are You?

People have to wake up and decide what they want for them: Eternal life in Christ Jesus or eternal destruction with the flesh and the world. "It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life." - John 6:63
  4. sensitivity

I have passed through similar situations and feelings... I know, sometimes bad and sad thoughts comes to mind. We are alone and single, sometimes depressed and not with the life we desire to have. Bad feelings and thoughts should not be accepted when they come but rebuked, we should be happy with happiness of others... It must be good to see them happy and realized with their marriage and life. I know the evil tries to flood our minds by making us questioning a lot of things. I recommend you to keep focused on God's Word, praying, and trust in the Lord; he cares for you. Throw away your worries, seek His help, and ask Him to teach you each day. I know it may not be easy, but the Lord Jesus can do it. Believe and trust, God's plans are greater than ours. "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." - Philippians 4:6-7
  5. Dancing with other Partners

I do not know about women, but men can get very excited (sexually) while dancing with girls (especially when any physical contact is involved). Knowing this, I really cannot be comfortable seeing "my girl" dancing with another; I would not allow such thing.

  7. "Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?" - 1 John 5:5

  8. No. I believe to be close to God means to worship Him daily, not just while in Church, but at every moment of our lives: through our actions, words and thoughts. For Christians it is much more to be close to God, is to have Him in us. Abide in the true vine, who is the Lord Jesus Christ. "Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me." - John 15:4
  9. Hello, My Name is Steven

    Welcome, Steven!
  10. Fearfulness

No, the church seems fine. But I am not attending, but I plan to go back soon.
  11. Bad feelings

I do not know exactly, maybe once a week to a few times a month. Nothing different, I just think, and think, then I read something, then I keep thinking and then it starts... It is hard to explain how it starts exactly. No. I was planning to go to a Church near here, I used to go there in the past... And I felt to go back to there. I was planning to go past Sunday... But something unexpected happen and I could not go and now I plan to go back tomorrow (Wednesday). No. My most intense prayer is when I go to sleep, but I can pray shortly through the day and after wake up. Yes.
  12. How Do You Make People Feel Welcome?

Receiving me with sincerity seems to be good enough. By sincerity I mean that if you cannot receive me, do not lie or invent excuses; it is heart breaking when I discover people lied just to avoid me. Another thing I appreciate is to respect and value my decisions, like: When you offer me something and I say: "I do not want it, thanks!" or "I do not like it, thanks!" and people insist and say: "It is obviously you want it... Don't be shy and take it." or "Are you sure you do not want it? (more than 2 times)". Then I would feel welcome whenever I was in your house. God bless you!

  14. Faith. "And there will be great earthquakes in various places, and famines and pestilences; and there will be fearful sights and great signs from heaven." - Luke 21:11 "Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me." - John 14:1 Those who do not have it may experience hard moments, to the point of doing everything (not of faith) to cease their worries.
  15. Bad feelings

Now I am fine. And you?
