  1. "Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him." - Romans 5:9
  2. We are commanded to care for one another. It is not like: I do not care if my brother is going to the wrong way. I will leave him in the dark. "let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul from death and cover a multitude of sins." - James 5:20 Or do you ignore the fact that God uses believers to tell people what they need to know?! "for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure." - Philippians 2:13 "...for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit..." - 1 Corinthians 12:8 It is a matter of love, and he who loves another and know the truth will speak truth if sees their brethren walking in error. As Jesus said: "...as I have loved you, that you also love one another." - John 13:34 This is all I have to say: "...unless you repent you will all likewise perish." - Luke 13:5 "but declared first to those in Damascus and in Jerusalem, and throughout all the region of Judea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent, turn to God, and do works befitting repentance." - Acts 26:20 "I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance." - Luke 5:32 "...Who warned you to flee from the wrath to come? Therefore bear fruits worthy of repentance..." - Matthew 3:7-8 Now, you are seeing the danger and how an unbeliever can come with a mindset that is contrary to truth. As @frienduff thaylorde always says, we must exhort and constantly remind one another that sin and flesh leads only to death. "...exhort one another daily, while it is called “Today,” lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin." - Hebrews 3:13 "...if all prophesy, and an unbeliever or an uninformed person comes in, he is convinced by all, he is convicted by all." - 1 Corinthians 14:24 So, we must repent to live! Amen, my friend! That is right, just as it is written: "As the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who feeds on Me will live because of Me." - John 6:57 "and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again." - 2 Corinthians 5:15 "For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them." - Ephesians 2:10 "And those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires." - Galatians 5:24 "...God forbid that I should boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world." - Galatians 6:14 And we must always remember: "Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God." - 1 Corinthians 10:31 No one can sin and say: It is for you, Oh God! "Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry." - Colossians 3:5 Let us all choose to seek and do what is pleasant and acceptable in His sight. "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven." - Matthew 5:16 "that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world..." - Philippians 2:15 Blessings to you in Jesus' name!
  3. Believing is by faith. "For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also." - James 2:26 "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also..." - John 14:12 What you (and many others) cannot understand is that what we do is by faith. "For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love." - Galatians 5:6 We are not trying to earn salvation, it was already given to us once we were forgiven by God. But we stand on faith, which means we must obey God by faith as the Spirit is given to all who obey Him. "And we are His witnesses to these things, and so also is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey Him." - Acts 5:32 Then, you will say: Why you want to obey God?! You are trying to buy something. No, that is a mistaken thought. We just want to live for God, being led by His Spirit; because we love Him. "For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God." - Romans 8:14 Because that is just natural for the children of God. They want to do the desire of the Father. "For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome. For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world - our faith." - 1 John 5:3-4 Because we believe in Him, and we have understood that: The flesh profits nothing and only leads to death. If the flesh profits nothing then why would we still want to be walking according to the flesh?! "For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died;" - 2 Corinthians 5:14 "and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again." - 2 Corinthians 5:15 And then you judge us by saying that we are trusting in our own righteousness. This is false, we are not trusting in our own righteousness, we are just pursuing the righteousness of Christ by faith. "Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous." - 1 John 3:7 If we were trusting in our righteousness we will do exactly the opposite, as it is written: "When I say to the righteous that he shall surely live, but he trusts in his own righteousness and commits iniquity, none of his righteous works shall be remembered..." - Ezekiel 33:13 "...Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity." - 2 Timothy 2:19 It really is strange why we are being seen as enemies while we are just seeking to do what the Word of God tells us to do: "Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. And walk in love..." - Ephesians 5:1 "I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh." - Galatians 5:16 Then, to us, to live for the world and its pleasure are just pure waste of time and we are not interested. We want to do what pleases God, and doing what pleases God is imitating Christ, by faith. "For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love." - Galatians 5:6 "...for he who loves another has fulfilled the law." - Romans 13:8 As it is by faith, it does not mean we have to imitate Christ perfectly as some say. A measure of faith is given to every believer, thus having different gifts. "But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ's gift." - Ephesians 4:7 And we are growing each day as we seek Him. "But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord." - 2 Corinthians 3:18 And how do we know we have been forgiven?! Those who received forgiveness from God know they have received it. "The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God..." - Romans 8:16 "For God is not the author of confusion but of peace..." - 1 Corinthians 14:33 If anyone does not have such assurance (faith) they have to seek it, by faith. "Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord..." - Acts 3:19 "And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power..." - 1 Corinthians 2:4 Blessings!
  4. "Depart from me, you evildoers, For I will keep the commandments of my God!" - Psalm 119:115 "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven." - Matthew 5:16 "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father." - John 14:12 "...Because I live, you will live also." - John 14:19
  5. I see dangers in the Once Saved Always Saved (OSAS) doctrine and I have found some questionable points in it. As a doctrine, it is presented by many in the way that: No matter what you do, or choose to do (even your own will). You will still be saved. Here is what I have observed: #1 It encourages people to sin instead of avoiding it: Why you would want to sin is already something to worry about. Unless you do not love God. "We love Him because He first loved us." - 1 John 4:19 Then how would make people feeling safe to sin lead them to life and freedom?! "While they promise them liberty, they themselves are slaves of corruption; for by whom a person is overcome, by him also he is brought into bondage." - 2 Peter 2:19 I have seen people saying that even if a person commits suicide they will be saved. Why would a person who believe in God take their own life?! Wouldn't it be a defeat to darkness?! "...I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life." - John 8:12 Is considering suicide walking in the light?! I do not believe so. If considering suicide is already flirting with darkness, how much more is committing it. Is suicide the fruit of someone who is abiding in Him?! I do not believe so, as it is written: "Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me." - John 15:4 Obviously, the fruits produced by those who are abiding in Him are good as a good tree (Christ) cannot bear bad fruit. "I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser." - John 15:1 "A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit." - Matthew 7:18 Then, the only reason for someone to commit suicide is because they are not abiding in Him. "Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him." - 1 John 3:6 "If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned." - John 15:6 Then, what kind of fruit is OSAS really encouraging in people?! It does not seem good for now, it is better to abide in Christ and His words instead of OSAS. "...If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." - John 8:31-32 "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." - John 14:6 "...Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin." - John 8:34 "Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed." - John 8:36 As you can see above, we have true freedom, life, and victory if we truly abide in the words of the Lord Jesus. #2 Pursuing sanctification is neglected and not encouraged: I have only seen OSAS advocates talking about the benefits of not worrying when they fall to sin. But they never, at least I could not see until now, warn about the dangers of sin and the importance of pursuing sanctification by faith in Christ. "...exhort one another daily, while it is called “Today,” lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin." - Hebrews 3:13 Indeed, some of them even condemns those who pursue sanctification by saying or implying that they are not trusting (not having faith) in Christ. But the pursue of sanctification is mentioned and encouraged a lot throughout the New Testament. "For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you should abstain from sexual immorality; that each of you should know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor..." - 1 Thessalonians 4:3-4 Then why some of them see sanctification as a problem in someone's path to salvation intrigues me a lot. "Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire." - Matthew 7:19 "...For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance." - Matthew 9:13 "to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me." - Acts 26:18 I even saw someone implying that holy living does not matter to your Christian life as that could be achieved without Christ's sacrifice on the cross. That is a big, big lie, and I will show to you. First because the Holy Spirit was only given after Christ was crucified and glorified. "...this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified." - John 7:39 "To grant us that we, Being delivered from the hand of our enemies, Might serve Him without fear, In holiness and righteousness before Him all the days of our life." - Luke 1:74-75 And because it is impossible for an unbeliever to truly desire, let alone to pursue sanctification. "Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be." - Romans 8:7 "For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am carnal, sold under sin." - Romans 7:14 Then, the grace of God is required to be manifested in someone's life as without it they would never really desire that. "No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him..." - John 6:44 "But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God." - John 1:12-13 "And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins..." - Ephesians 2:1 "For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age..." - Titus 2:11-12 What people in the flesh can do is to operate on deceit, have an appearance of godliness but denying its power... which is living in hypocrisy and consequently far from holiness. "...Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy." - Luke 12:1 "...all their works they do to be seen by men..." - Matthew 23:5 Which means that they only do (act, pretend) when people are watching, behind the scenes they practice all things they condemn. "Take heed that you do not do your charitable deeds before men, to be seen by them..." - Matthew 6:1 "Therefore whatever they tell you to observe, that observe and do, but do not do according to their works; for they say, and do not do." - Matthew 23:3 And because only God can truly sanctify people, through His Word. "Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth." - John 17:17 "And you shall keep My statutes, and perform them: I am the Lord who sanctifies you." - Leviticus 20:8 "He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him." - 1 John 2:4 "But he who heard and did nothing is like a man who built a house on the earth without a foundation, against which the stream beat vehemently; and immediately it fell. And the ruin of that house was great." - Luke 6:49 And because it is impossible to overcome the flesh without being born of the Spirit. "...Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven." - Matthew 18:3 "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God." - John 3:5 "That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit." - John 3:6 And if you are in the flesh, you still are being governed by its evil desires. "But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His." - Romans 8:9 Now, why there are so many doctrines that want to keep people trapped in the flesh?! Because that way they are not born of the Spirit, they cannot walk in the Spirit, and they cannot glorify God. And without the Spirit indwelling in them, they cannot be saved. "Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption." - 1 Corinthians 15:50 "...the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God." - Galatians 5:19-21 "But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you..." - Romans 8:9 "...this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive..." - John 7:39 "But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you." - Romans 8:11 "...Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His." - Romans 8:9 "Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’" - John 3:7 "And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others." - Ephesians 2:1-3 Then, the only danger in sanctification - if there is any - is for Satan and the flesh (that will be overcome by the power of the Spirit). "For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live." - Romans 8:13 Beware of people who says or implies - in any way - that you are risking your salvation by pursuing repentance of sins and sanctification. "Let them alone. They are blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind leads the blind, both will fall into a ditch." - Matthew 15:14 They are not working for God. "He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters abroad." - Matthew 12:30 "For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you should abstain from sexual immorality; that each of you should know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor..." - 1 Thessalonians 4:3-4 "Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven." - Matthew 7:21 "Therefore he who rejects this does not reject man, but God, who has also given us His Holy Spirit." - 1 Thessalonians 4:8 "And Jesus answered and said to them: Take heed that no one deceives you." - Matthew 24:4 "Strive to enter through the narrow gate, for many, I say to you, will seek to enter and will not be able." - Luke 13:24 "And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil." - John 3:19 And you?! What will you choose?! To believe in OSAS, doctrines of men, or in the pure and true words of the Lord Jesus Christ? "Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." - Acts 4:12 "Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it." - Matthew 7:14 "Then Jesus said to them again, Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep." - John 10:7 "It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life." - John 6:63 "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life." - John 5:24 Blessings to you in Jesus' name!
  6. Exactly, this is very, very important. Well said! "And do not be called teachers; for One is your Teacher, the Christ." - Matthew 23:10 "He who has ears to hear, let him hear!" - Matthew 11:15 "For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not bear false witness,” “You shall not covet,” and if there is any other commandment, are all summed up in this saying, namely, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”" - Romans 13:9 "Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. And walk in love..." - Ephesians 5:1-2 "For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you." - John 13:15 "Beloved, do not imitate what is evil, but what is good. He who does good is of God, but he who does evil has not seen God." - 3 John 11 "I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh." - Galatians 5:16
  7. I did not choose that either, then I was not the responsible for this result. If it was not God, I would have done that much earlier. "For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever. Amen." - Romans 11:36 It actually is hard for me to know people, if that was easy, I would certainly be just one more victim. Blessings!
  8. It is hard to happen. But there are some who do, obviously. "And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God." - Romans 12:2 By grace, I never had any sexual relation with other people. I do not even know what a kiss is, or how is it to hold hands. You may think I am extraordinarily ugly, dislike women or worse, but that is not the case. I am 27, and I am looking forward to marriage. And the wait becomes much easier in Christ. "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." - Philippians 4:13
  9. I will tell you about how I have come to the knowledge of Christ and how my life has changed drastically since then. My life before Jesus: I was a person very tormented mentally, my mind rarely was in peace and was constantly oppressed by evil spirits. They would try to convince me of doing terrible things not only to me, but to others lives as well. I did not do many of those things, but I have done others, and how I regret of doing them. "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God..." - Romans 3:23 I had many moments of anger and I could not control them sometimes, which led me to do insane things. "A man of great wrath will suffer punishment; For if you rescue him, you will have to do it again." - Proverbs 19:19 But it never brought me too much problem, but ideas of doing evil was almost always in my mind. And in those moments of anger, it was the best opportunity for them to be fulfilled. I was suffering a lot. And as anyone who do not know Christ, my life was full of bad and sinful habits. And while in a moment alone, and I was alone most of the time, I was thinking about my life, and how it is not right. Then I came to the conclusion: I need to repent, indeed. I always had Jesus in my mouth, but the reality is that He was far from my heart. And while hearing a music, it made me think: Am I following Him?! Really, am I following Him?! Then I realized: No, I am not following Him. I know His name, but I barely know who He really is. Then I realized: I have to know more about Him. All this happened about one year ago after being baptized in a near local church. After I was baptized, I remember I was thinking: I will have to change my life. "A woman, when she is in labor, has sorrow because her hour has come..." - John 16:21 But the reality was: I do not have the power to change my life. This is the truth. "For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) nothing good dwells; for to will is present with me, but how to perform what is good I do not find." - Romans 7:18 Then how will I do it?! I cannot do it, I am powerless. "For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am carnal, sold under sin." - Romans 7:14 Yes, the reality is that I could not do it. Then I decided to resume my life. Then after some time, after suffering a lot because of my own sins, I decided to think about it. Then I thought: I need to repent, indeed. My life is not right, and I am suffering. I remember before that, while admiring sin I thought: I will live this way until I die. But I knew it was not right, then something made me decide: I have to know Jesus more. I never actually read the Bible or seek to know Him. Then I decided to seek, and I started seeking... When reading something on a website, I saw something inviting me to accept Jesus and be saved. And I did it, I did it. It was like something was attracting me to it, I was like desperate: Save me, save me! But I was not yet feeling saved. And I remember that when I was younger, today I am 27, I used to call upon the name of the Lord. I would use a verse and ask Him to save me, this is one of the verses I used: "And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting." - Psalm 139:24 But I was not yet feeling saved. It was like I needed to seek more. "And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart." - Jeremiah 29:13 Then I decided to start reading the Bible, for real, Jesus may be there somewhere. I know He is, but where?! Then I was convinced to start reading from the New Testament, from the first book: Matthew. I remember I was reading on my computer, and I started reading daily. I liked reading, Jesus is awesome... I loved Him and His words, He was like someone I always waited for. "...If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him." - John 14:23 "...the Holy Spirit fell upon all those who heard the word." - Acts 10:44 And when it was somewhere in December 2016, that while I was reading, I understood one thing: I need to repent as soon as possible. "A woman, when she is in labor, has sorrow because her hour has come..." - John 16:21 Then, as far as I can remember, I started praying asking for forgiveness and salvation. "...the tax collector, standing afar off, would not so much as raise his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me a sinner!’" - Luke 18:13 "if that nation, against whom I have pronounced, turn from their evil, I will repent of the evil that I thought to do unto them." - Jeremiah 18:8 "For God has committed them all to disobedience, that He might have mercy on all." - Romans 11:32 "not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost..." - Titus 3:5 Then I thought: How could I have been like this for so much time. He was not happy with me. And I decided: My life cannot be the same anymore. "...If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me." - Matthew 16:24 "For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it." - Matthew 16:25 "A woman, when she is in labor, has sorrow because her hour has come..." - John 16:21 My life after Jesus: Then my life had to change and I knew what I had to do... And I knew one thing: I love Him. "...bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails..." - 1 Corinthians 13:7-8 "We love Him because He first loved us." - 1 John 4:19 And I decided to get water baptized again, this time knowing very well. And something that caught my attention was this: The first time (YYYY-MM-DD) I was baptized was on 2015-09-12, and the second time was on 2017-12-09. Then I started reading the Word daily, and believing in what was written. I was so full of problems, I could not know where to start... But I started with the milk. "as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby, if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is gracious." - 1 Peter 2:2-3 Then after that day, my behavior changed drastically, I wanted to love more, to improve more, because of Him. Then one day I lost patience and I had one episode of anger. Then I thought: Why did I do this?! I am sorry, Lord Jesus! Then I prayed, and ask Him for help and forgiveness. "...be clothed with humility, for “God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble.”" - 1 Peter 5:5 But this was not the biggest problem I had to repent of, I was full of bad and sinful habits, and I knew I had to forsake them. "He who covers his sins will not prosper, But whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy." - Proverbs 28:13 But I also knew I couldn't do it on my own. "But He said, “The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.”" - Luke 18:27 "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." - Philippians 4:13 But I was in love with those sinful habits. How will I forsake them?! I had to make a choice: "I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live;" - Deuteronomy 30:19 And I thought, sin is evil, it is not right. And if I can indeed be free, then why not?! Sin is useless anyway. I want peace with God. "...as obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the former lusts, as in your ignorance..." - 1 Peter 1:14 "Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God." - 1 John 3:9 Then one day I decided to pray like: Lord Jesus, I know these evil things do not please you and I have to confess I cannot stop loving them. My wish, Lord Jesus, is that I can stop loving these things so I do not do them anymore. "If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you." - John 15:7 "...this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us." - 1 John 5:14 "For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says." - Mark 11:23 "If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!" - Matthew 7:11 "But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind." - James 1:6 After that day, my life started changing, and I was learning daily. And with the help of the Lord I was feeling more free each day. What once seemed impossible, now started becoming a reality. And today I can say I have peace with God, just as it is written: "Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ..." - Romans 5:1 And today I can say I am free indeed, just as it is written: "...Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin. And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever. Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed." - John 8:34-36 All the bad habits, all the sinful pleasures I had is completely in the past. I just have no desire for them anymore. It is a miracle; He has been purifying my heart, in truth. "Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth." - John 17:17 "...you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His." - Romans 8:9 "...if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you." - Romans 8:11 There is nothing, nothing impossible for Him. I have experienced it. And how good it is... Sin is indeed deceitful, just as it is written: "but exhort one another daily, while it is called “Today,” lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin." - Hebrews 3:13 "And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit..." - Ephesians 5:18 Today I feel saved, and I feel in peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. "He who has received His testimony has certified that God is true." - John 3:33 "...it is in truth, the word of God, which also effectively works in you who believe." - 1 Thessalonians 2:13 And He has helped me overcome so much problems I had in my mind as well. I am living so much better. It is something that exceeds all expectations. And I can also say that I am waiting for His coming. Come, Lord Jesus! "And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure." - 1 John 3:3 And you?! Are you ready?! No matter what you have done, just believe in Him and start seeking Him today. "Assuredly, I say to you, all sins will be forgiven the sons of men..." - Mark 3:28 "...unless you repent you will all likewise perish." - Luke 13:1 Your life will change, you will be forgiven, and you will have peace. It is a promise, from God. "in hope of eternal life which God, who cannot lie, promised before time began..." - Titus 1:2 "And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart." - Galatians 6:9 "For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome. For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world — our faith." - 1 John 5:3-4 Thank you, Lord Jesus! Blessings to you in Jesus' name!
  10. I do not know, perhaps they are. I do not look unfriendly, but I understand. Anyway, I do not have any bitterness towards it... I have been learning with the Lord and I do not feel alone anymore. Seeking others well being is very good... And it makes us feel well too. But we have to understand others as well, forgiving one another, loving one another. God bless you in Jesus' name! 😉
  11. It depends on the needs of the church as a whole. When rebuke and sharp correction is needed, it will have to be told. "As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent." - Revelation 3:19 Especially when the church does not want hear and obey in a lovely way. We are living in hard times, the hearts are very stubborn and provoking the wrath of God. "If you are willing and obedient, You shall eat the good of the land; But if you refuse and rebel, You shall be devoured by the sword For the mouth of the Lord has spoken." - Isaiah 1:19-20 God bless you in Jesus' name!
  12. While we will not be condemned if we sin, we should look forward in being free from sin. "And having been set free from sin, you became slaves of righteousness." - Romans 6:18 If we fall, the Lord is there to take us back... He loves us. And then we are up again to do His will, what is pleasing in His sight! "Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock." - Matthew 7:24-25 That is the true grace of God: Godliness, love, forgiveness, mercy, salvation, power over all forces of the enemy... In Him we are victorious overcomers! "For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever. Amen." - Romans 11:36 God bless you in Jesus' name!
  13. In the New Testament, when they speak of prophets they are not talking about people who claim to be prophets. They are talking about people who come bringing you doctrines, beliefs, faith, etc... All people are influenced by spirits, and we need to test the spirits. "If anyone teaches otherwise and does not consent to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which accords with godliness, he is proud, knowing nothing, but is obsessed with disputes and arguments over words, from which come envy, strife, reviling, evil suspicions, useless wranglings of men of corrupt minds and destitute of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain. From such withdraw yourself." - 1 Timothy 6:3-5
