1John 4:18 No fear is in love: but perfect love casts out the fear, because the fear has punishment; and who fears is not perfected in love. 19 WE love, because HE first loved us.

No there is no reference in the scripture that God created light ... Genesis 1:2 The earth was without form and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. 3 And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. God is light. Ephesians 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, 4 even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love 2Tim 1:9 Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began, [KJV] Which Christians??

Not at all. RV Wizard explained nothing. "Here, God created a light source." - Are you for real?? This is from Mr. Scripture Only. Where does Genesis explain that God created another light source? Which verse is that in? And God said let there be light - this is none other than Jesus as the Creator himself. The light of God appeared above a dark and void planet. John 9:5 While I am in the world, I am Light of the world. John 12:46 I am come a light into the world, that whoever believeth unto me remain not in the darkness.

I have never written that the Earth was not created in fullness by God. The issue is six 24 hour days versus six periods of time. The issue is that God created human beings, male and female, on the six yom and then rested from all his works. The issue is that Adam was formed (and then Eve) and separated from all others in the garden after the 7th yom - the eighth day so to speak which correlates to eight souls being saved through the Flood. The issue is that Cain did not marry his sister (no scripture supports this vile notion) and that he indeed went to the land of Nod and there he took a wife. The issue is that other human beings did not evolve from either Adam and Eve nor from Noah's family.

I am trying to unravel this nonsense you wrote. Can you explain the light that shone for three "days" before the creation of our local star the Sun??
-
No - YEC - is a doctrinal point of view promulgated by mediaeval Roman Catholicism. The original Hebrew does not unequivocally state that each day in Genesis was a 24 hour day. Not at all. And given that three "days" occurred before the creation of the Sun and Moon that is certainly problematic. Neither does the Hebrew state that Genesis 2 is a retelling of Genesis 1. People are blinded by zealous adherence to their Sunday School stories. And Cain did not marry his sister for in scripture no sister is described.
-
Some who believe in the Lord believe this, but others with wisdom know that Genesis does not in the original Hebrew teach this.

Also worth noting is that Moses did not enter the Promised Land but the children of Israel crossed the Jordan under the leadership of Joshua. Luke 1:31 And lo, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bear a Son, and shalt call his name JESUS. G2424 Ἰησοῦς Iēsous Of Hebrew origin [H3091]; Jesus (that is, Jehoshua), the name of our Lord and two (three) other Israelites: - Jesus.

I guess this is what happens when you have Christians that are not born from above and have not experienced the baptism of the Holy Spirit - doctrine without understanding that the gospel and New Testament discipleship are of the Holy Spirit. The Law continues but is now written in our hearts and we fulfill the Law through our love of God and his righteousness. And there is still no need to do the ordinances of the Law such as not eating "unclean" foods and observing Saturdays as a sabbath. For in the Spirit Christ Jesus is our sabbath.
-
We do not receive the law in our flesh but by the Spirit who dwells within us - as with Pentecostal Christians. We fulfill the law by walking in the Spirit which gives us the law of liberty and releases us from the ordinances of the OT law. The temple is gone and so are Saturday sabbaths. Romans 2:28 For the Jew is not one manifestly, neither is circumcision manifestly in the flesh; 29 but the one in secret is a Jew; and circumcision is of the heart, in spirit not in letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

Galatians 3:21 Is the law then against the promises of God? Be it not so: for if a law had been given which could make alive, verily righteousness would have been by law. 22 But the scripture shut up all things under sin, that the promise from faith in Jesus Christ might be given to the believing. 23 But before the faith came, we were kept in ward under law, shut up unto the faith to be revealed. 24 So that the law is become our tutor unto Christ, that we be justified from faith. 25 But the faith having come, we are no more under a tutor.

James 1:25 But who looketh into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and continueth, being not a hearer that forgetteth but a doer of work, this man shall be blessed in his doing. James 2:10 For whoever shall keep the whole law, and stumble in one point, is become guilty of all. 11 For who said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou dost not commit adultery, but killest, thou art become transgressor of the law. 12 So speak, and so do, as those to be judged by a law of liberty.

Galatians 2:2 And I went up by revelation; and I laid before them the gospel which I preach among the nations but privately before those of repute, lest I somehow be running, or had run, in vain. 3 But not even Titus who was with me, being a Greek, was compelled to be circumcised: 4 and that because of the false brethren privily brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage: 5 to whom we yielded in subjection, no, not for an hour; that the truth of the gospel might continue with you.

2Cor 3:6 who also made us sufficient as ministers of a new covenant; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life. 7 But if the ministration of death in letters engraven on stones came to be in glory, so that the children of Israel could not look steadfastly upon the face of Moses for the glory of his face; which was being done away: 8 how shall not rather the ministration of the spirit be with glory? 9 For if the ministration of condemnation is glory, much rather doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory. 10 For verily what hath been made glorious hath not been made glorious in this part, by reason of the surpassing glory. 11 For if what was being done away was through glory, much more what remaineth is in glory. 12 Having therefore such hope, we use great boldness, 13 and not just as Moses put a veil upon his face, that the children of Israel should not look steadfastly on the end of what was being done away: 14 but their thoughts were hardened: for until this very day at the reading of the old covenant the same veil remaineth, it not being revealed to them that it is done away in Christ. 15 But unto this day, whenever Moses is read, a veil lieth upon their heart. 16 But whenever one shall turn to the Lord, the veil is taken away. 17 Now the Lord is the Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, is liberty. 18 But we all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord the Spirit.

Not really. As a Spirit-filled Pentecostal Christian I find all the epistles straight forward and understandable. Afterall they are written for the benefit of the Spirit-filled Pentecostal ekklesia. Seems to me that those who have to theologize their way through the epistles are non-Pentecostals trying to comprehend the spiritual. Jude 1:17 But YE beloved, remember the words spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ; 18 that they said to you, In the last time mockers shall be, walking after their own ungodly lusts. 19 These are they who make separations, having only soul, not having Spirit.

You gotta wonder where some "Christians" are at with their lack of understanding of the new and living Covenant that Jesus himself delivered to us through his death - the death of a spouse ends the marriage. And this is what happened when Yahweh died on the cross at Golgotha - God being a husband to the Jews of Judah came to a very tragic end. Romans 7:1 Or do you not know, brothers—for I am speaking to those who know the law - that the law is binding on a person only as long as he lives? 2 For a married woman is bound by law to her husband while he lives, but if her husband dies she is released from the law of marriage. Romans 7:4 Likewise, my brothers, you also have died to the law through the body of Christ, so that you may belong to another, to him who has been raised from the dead, in order that we may bear fruit for God. 5 For while we were living in the flesh, our sinful passions, aroused by the law, were at work in our members to bear fruit for death. 6 But now we are released from the law, having died to that which held us captive, so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit and not in the old way of the written code.

Is that by various church definitions or by the standards of scripture?
-
Applicable to those in the flesh not in the Spirit. I guess this is another major difference between Pentecostal Christians and non-Pentecostal Christians.

The Spirit-filled Christian has a new Sabbath - Christ Jesus himself. As for Sundays as a day of worship or a Wednesday these are not sabbaths. A church (ekklesia of saints) coming together on a particular day does not a Sabbath make. For the Sabbath is our rest from our own works by the power of the indwelling Holy Spirit. If you want to make a Saturday a "Sabbath" for you then what ordinances do you obey - no driving a motor vehicle? No walking the dog around the block? No cooking and baking? No shopping at supermarkets? No going to sports?

Psalm 40:6 In sacrifice and offering you have not delighted, but you have given me an open ear. Burnt offering and sin offering you have not required. 7 Then I said, “Behold, I have come; in the scroll of the book it is written of me: 8 I delight to do your will, O my God; your law is within my heart.” Ezekiel 36:26 And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. 27 And I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes and be careful to obey my rules. You also need to read and understand the epistle to the Galatians.

Galatians 3:10 For as many as are of works of law are under a curse: for it is written [that], Cursed everyone who continueth not in all the things written in the book of the law, to do them. 11 Now that no one is justified by law before God, is evident because, The righteous shall live by faith; 12 and the law is not of faith but, Who doeth them shall live in them. 13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us; because it is written, Accursed every one hanging on a tree: 14 that unto the nations might come the blessing of Abraham in Christ Jesus; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

There are some here that keep on preaching their doctrine in violation of what the holy scriptures - the word of God - actually teaches us to believe and obey ... Galatians 3:1 O foolish Galatians, who bewitched you, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was openly set forth crucified? 2 This only would I learn from you, Received ye the Spirit from works of law, or from hearing of faith? 3 Are ye so foolish? having begun in Spirit, are ye now perfected in flesh? 4 Did ye suffer so many things in vain? if indeed in vain. 5 Who therefore supplieth you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, is it from works of law, or from the hearing of faith? 6 Even as Abraham believed God, and it was reckoned to him for righteousness. 7 Know then that who are from faith, these are sons of Abraham. 8 And the scripture, foreseeing that God justifieth the nations by faith, preached the gospel afore to Abraham, saying, [that] In thee shall all the nations be blessed. 9 So then who are from faith are blessed with the faithful Abraham.
