  1. Sincere answer. I don't speak of taking care of widows, orphans or the sick because when I start to type it sounds as if I am trying to glorify myself and things I do. The left hand is not supposed to know what the right hand is doing. But, Yes, I wholeheartedly also believe that YeHoVah is greatly concerned about this. It is addressed in His word: James 1:26 and 27 - 26If anyone considers himself religious and yet does not bridle his tongue, he deceives his heart and his religion is worthless. 27Pure and undefiled religion before our God and Father is this: to care for orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world. And it would seem to be a very keen assessment of yours that addresses this is yet another thing "the Church" is NOT doing and displeasing GOD. But, I digress. I don't want to derail the topic. If you'd like, you can PM me or you can start a topic to discuss this issue. Because it is important!
  2. And how do you show GOD love? Do you wake up every morning and say, "God, I love ya big guy?" John 14:15 - If you love Me, you will keep My commandments. It's a circular reasoning right back to Matthew 22:40
  3. I don't believe in this doctrine. But I believe, just as before the flood, some of the righteous will die. I will do the will of YeHoVah regardless. John 6:68 - Simon Peter answered Him, "Lord, to whom will we go? You have the words of eternal life.
  4. Possibly the real question here should be, "Should Christians be tolerating the blasphemous agenda of Trudeau?"
  5. It was first from the "Old Testament" telling His people that he would have rather they obey Him and not sin rather than disobeying Him and slaughtering innocent animals to atone for their sins. Amos 5:22 through 25 - 22Even though you offer Me burnt offerings and grain offerings, I will not accept them; for your peace offerings of fattened cattle I will have no regard. 23Take away from Me the noise of your songs! I will not listen to the music of your harps. 24But let justice roll on like a river, and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream. 25Did you bring Me sacrifices and offerings forty years in the wilderness, O house of Israel?
  6. By "Church" I am saying folks who say they are His "Church". Like the RCC who says they are the "Mother Church" and her "Protestant" daughters who protest nothing. Like folks who say they are of His "Church" who say His Laws have been abolished, His Sabbath has been done away with or changed to another day. Like folks who say they are in His "Church" who have LGBTQ pastors and are advocates for these groups. Like folks who say they are His "Church" who support abortion, who are racists and bigots. Like folks who say they are His "Church" but celebrate every wretched and vile pagan practice and custom by calling them a Christian sounding name. This is the "Church" I speak of. The Scriptures plainly state over and over He is angry with these people proclaiming they are "the Church".
  7. Are we not "The church"? But I ask you should the right hand be talking to the left about such matters? Should we be like the Rabbi's and Pharisees making a show over what we do? Or should we be giving in secret that the Father reward us openly? Let the Catholics help. I figure the amount of gold in St. Peters could easily fund the homeless. Also let their mega-churches could be turned into mega-homeless shelters... I understand your heart Brother and I commend you for it. But who is to say folks on here are not already doing the things you're talking about?
  8. Acts 7:42 - But God turned away and delivered them to worship the host of heaven, as it has been written in the book of the prophets: 'Did you offer slain beasts and sacrifices to Me forty years in the wilderness, O house of Israel?
  9. I like what you wrote here... Jose, love ya still...
  10. It is purely my opinion and nothing I can back up with Scripture, but I think YeHoVah is so angry with His chosen people, His children and His "church" that He has had to turn His face away from us for this long and who knows how much longer. But those are just the thoughts of a mumble little man. My thoughts are not God's thoughts...
  11. I started to Bold the items in your post I agree with and then this happened... Anyway, Abraham was declared righteous by his belief? Yep! An example of Grace right there in the "Old Testament". Also, the "Jews" who made the heavy burdens; hard to bear were the ones coming out of Babylon with their Pharisees. The took "The Law" and added to it with their Halakah, Talmud and oral traditions of men. "The Law" as far as the Law of Moses, it's pretty much summed up in: Deuteronomy 30:11&12 - 11For this commandment I give you today is not too difficult for you or beyond your reach. 12It is not in heaven, that you should need to ask, ‘Who will ascend into heaven to get it for us and proclaim it, that we may obey it?
  12. As you stated, we no longer have the ability to perform blood atonement with animals at the temple. But as you stated our High Priest Yeshua makes intersession for us to the Father. The veil also tore the separation of the Jews from the Gentiles and Yeshua from the Gentiles. The "ordinances" were the crimes against us. Such as the "ordinances" Yeshua was guilty of "The King of the Jews". That was the only crime Pilate could put on His cross. But the ordinances against us were the ones also nailed to the cross. I can't agree with you that ALL the laws were done away with. That would make us lawless. Thus incurring this: Matthew 7:22 through 24 - 22Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?’ 23 Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you workers of lawlessness!’ 24Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts on them is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. I will let no one judge me about observing the festivals of YeHoVah, the new moons or the Sabbath... I follow this advice.
  13. Yeah, I remember when I was 46... Seems like about a hundred years ago.
  14. Is it love you're throwing back at me? Because I love ya kid!
