  1. I must tell you something. If you have never felt the joy of the Lord, that is because you were never been born again. YES the fruit of the Spirit is peace and joy. Christians do not have to fight for their joy. People who are serious about turning away from their sins, who turn to God for forgiveness by believing in the Lord Jesus Christ and His redemptive work on the cross, will have the Holy Spirit. That is if they are really serious about following the Lord Jesus. Jesus said those who come to Him He will never cast out. So if you go to Him, He will never turn you away. Is there any sin you have not repented of? That is a good question to ask yourself. We have to surrender EVERYTHING to Jesus. He must be first in every area of your life. He is not added to our life. He IS our life. In Him is life. You need to go to Jesus Christ, you need to SEEK UNTIL you find Him. You have to HEAR His voice. You have to get something back from Him, He speaks. Cry out to Him. Also remember it is not about us, it is about Him. It is not about you having your joy and assurance, it is about you being His servant, a servant of Righteousness. Hope this helps. May the Lord bless you.!
  2. Interesting thank you for this. He is one of my favorite bible teachers with Derek Prince. I didn't know about this. I agree with you there. However asking questions is the way to learn from people who know more or have more experience. If everyone who asks a question about wrong beliefs, we are going to say that they are lifting up false gospels, we would have a huge problem in evangelism. I am very patient with other believers who are seeking truth and I try to bring them slowly out of their wrong doctrines. Also I believe that if people would get lost because of this kind of question, then their faith was not strong to begin with and they have a long way to go. Life is full of questions and struggles, we have to overcome in the middle of these things in the name of Jesus. If someone will be lost because of that, they were never really found to begin. Anyway just my take on it. God bless you!
  3. Well said. It all fits well with the 7th trumpet. They have to create an additional trumpet to fit with that false hope. There is no basis whatsoever for PreTrib. It just doesn't make sense whatsoever. If we look at the New Testament alone, nothing in it even hints at there being a rapture of the church before the great tribulation. It is a nice thought but it is not happening. There are verses in revelation showing that some who will die DURING the great tribulation will resurrect to reign with Christ. That is impossible with the theory of pre-trib because the rapture happens at the time of the first resurrection and there only two resurrections with the second one being at the end of the one thousand year reign. Revelation 20:4 - 4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. They DIED BEHEADED for the witness of Jesus (so these are not the Jews) and they did not worship the beast (great tribulation), and they lived (RESURRECTED) and reigned with Christ a thousand years. Can anyone answer this? God bless
  4. I am relaxed but thank you. I know that God is in control, I am just trying to see the source of these things. It is always good to ask questions and see what others think. That was my point. I don't know what you mean by pointing someone towards destruction of the false gospel. I am just asking a question. God bless you
  5. I always loved to see it that way. But I must admit I struggle with it. The thing is even very good bible teachers like David Pawson and others think of Francis as genuine believer. Are we saying that all these people like Pio and Francis are all lost and in hell? This is where I struggle. Of course the doctrines of penance, Eucharist, Marian worship, intercession of the saints are all unbiblical.
  6. Hello All, Being from a Catholic background, I used to believe in a lot of things I see in the Catholic church or "saints". I have been a long way since that time and have got rid of all the pagan rituals of that church. However, I still struggle with some issues: 1- The Stigmata: I am sure somebody here knows about Saint Francis of Assisi or Padre Pio of Pieterlcina. I am interested to know your take on this phenomenon. I don't see anything in the Holy Bible talking about this. However I am trying to make sense of it. I mean many people believe Francis of Assisi to be a true follower of Christ, yet there is this phenomenon in his life. How come this phenomenon is only happening in the Catholic Church? I know some would say it is all fake, but it seems unlikely to me looking at these persons. 2- Miracles by dead Catholic "Saints": the other issue is miracles done by Catholic "saints". We see a lot of these saints' bodies still oozing blood and well preserved. There are a lot of stories about serious sicknesses and diseases being healed by visits to their tombs, or by appearances. Seems weird to me. There is saint called Saint Charbel from Lebanon that is becoming very popular for healing people from all over the world. He appears to them in their sleep and performs operations and such things. Now if these miracles happen, do you think that the devil can be responsible for healing people? Let me know what you think, it is time I move on from this. God bless
  7. I believe that you are genuine. I have always been that kind too very sceptical with a lot of questions. So I understand where you are coming from. It is true that to know and learn more about the truth, we have to ask the right questions and this is a good question even though sometimes it is asked with the wrong motives. I used to ask it more to fight against the gospel rationally. But I came a long way since then and been humbled by God. I always try to stay teachable because I believe pride and ego are the biggest sins and the craftiest deceptions of the evil one. So again to answer the question, I am convinced that Jesus Christ will judge with perfect righteousness. He is HOLY HOLY HOLY the Bible says. The thing is the people who never heard about the gospel have a conscience and they know deep down what is wrong and right. I am not talking about mentally ill people which is another subject. I am talking about healthy people who genuinely never heard about Jesus Christ or circumstances did not allow them to hear the true gospel. However, who among them can say that they never went against their conscience to obey evil inclinations. You see it is always very tricky when we dwell on how God will judge, I used to do it a lot before but now by humbling myself and listening to the Holy Spirit after I got born again, the Lord told me "it is not of your business". He reminded me of when Peter asked about how John will die: John 21:18-22 18 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, When thou wast young, thou girdest thyself, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry thee whither thou wouldest not. 19 This spake he, signifying by what death he should glorify God. And when he had spoken this, he saith unto him, Follow me. 20 Then Peter, turning about, seeth the disciple whom Jesus loved following; which also leaned on his breast at supper, and said, Lord, which is he that betrayeth thee? 21 Peter seeing him saith to Jesus, Lord, and what shall this man do? 22 Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? follow thou me. I never really dwell on these questions because I know that God will provide a perfect judgment, He is PERFECTLY FAIR. No one will go to hell because they don't deserve it. God bless you
  8. Oh, how often have I heard that one coming from people who are not willing to surrender all to Christ. Jesus Christ has to be first in every area of our lives. He said: Matthew 6:33 - But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. The people who ask me this, I always ask them why they are asking that question. It is almost never because they are worried about that poor indian who has never heard the gospel, it is more to challenge the gospel intellectually and find fault with it. I am not saying that you asked that question for the same reason. I am just sharing my experience with this question. Paul talks about people who are not under the Law and says that they will be judged without the Law by their conscience: Romans 2:15 - They show that the work of the law is written on their hearts, while their conscience also bears witness, and their conflicting thoughts accuse or even excuse them The Spirit of God influences the conscience of man and man knows deep down what is right and wrong. They can either listen to their conscience or ignore it. That does not mean that they are born again. It is the influence of God on the conscience of man. It is the same as demonic influence, the demons can tempt us but that does not mean we are possessed by them. Also God seems to tackle this question in some passages and I strongly believe that man shall be judged according to the light that has been given to them, so I trust God's judgment which will be delivered in a perfect righteousness: Luke 12:47-48 47 And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. 48 But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more. This is also confirmed in another passage where Jesus is cursing cities with a series of Woes: Matthew 11:20-24 20 Then began he to upbraid the cities wherein most of his mighty works were done, because they repented not: 21 Woe unto thee, Chorazin! woe unto thee, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works, which were done in you, had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes. 22 But I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the day of judgment, than for you. 23 And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted unto heaven, shalt be brought down to hell: for if the mighty works, which have been done in thee, had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day. 24 But I say unto you, That it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment, than for thee. We see that the Lord Jesus is talking about how the judgment will be harsher on Capernaum and Chorazin because of the mighty works that were done in them. God considers the light that has been given to each person and will judge accordingly. May God bless you!
  9. Hello Claudia, Is it the pain that is causing you to have these thoughts. You have to stop hating yourself and allowing the evil one to play with your head. Call on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Remember that death is NOT THE END. You think you have it bad now but if you kill yourself you will end up in a place of torment where it will be much worse. I am not trying to scare you I am simply stating the truth. Now is the time to call on Jesus Christ. He will deliver you if you go to Him, if you cry out to Him. He is real, alive and He answers prayers. But you have to repent from your sins and believe on Him. We all need a savior and He is the Savior if you believe. may the Lord protect your life. Don't disappear, stay here and discuss dear Claudia.
  10. That is a great answer. It is exactly this. God's existence is directly linked to absolute morality. People are willing to believe anything as long as it is not God. They are also willing to accept God if He is some kind of impersonal powerful force but as soon as God is awakened to a sense of right and wrong, as soon as God is presented as a person preoccupied with right and wrong, then most people get bothered. This is because they don't want to repent. Jesus said this is the judgment: John 3:19 - And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. Darkness flees from light. God is light. May God bless you!
