  1. Yesterdays Reading: Interesting to me that, in Revelations 1:5, Jesus is called the prince of the kings of the earth (some versions say ruler). Revelation 1:5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood Wondered about this as Satan is called the prince of the air, or ruler of this world and here Jesus is called prince of the kings of the EARTH. I mentioned this to someone who told me that Earth is all ages but world can be like just one age (eon, eons). Anyone have any thoughts on this?
  2. When I read this (2nd Chronicles) it reminded me of the New Testament (Romans 2:11). 2 Chronicles 19: 7 Now let the fear of the Lord be on you. Judge carefully, for with the Lord our God there is no injustice or partiality or bribery.” Romans 2:11-16 King James Version (KJV) 11 For there is no respect of persons with God. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 9When Jehoshaphat king of Judah returned safely to his palace in Jerusalem, 2 Jehu the seer, the son of Hanani, went out to meet him and said to the king, “Should you help the wicked and love[a] those who hate the Lord? Because of this, the wrath of the Lord is on you. A reminder of being careful of ungodly alliances. Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? 2nd Cor. 6:14 Matthew 5:44 King James Version (KJV) 44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
  3. Omega and all, Can you give any insight into this passage from today's reading in Chronicles? 19 And the Lord said, ‘Who will entice Ahab king of Israel into attacking Ramoth Gilead and going to his death there?’ “One suggested this, and another that. 20 Finally, a spirit came forward, stood before the Lord and said, ‘I will entice him.’ “‘By what means?’ the Lord asked. 21 “‘I will go and be a deceiving spirit in the mouths of all his prophets,’ he said. “‘You will succeed in enticing him,’ said the Lord. ‘Go and do it.’ 22 “So now the Lord has put a deceiving spirit in the mouths of these prophets of yours. The Lord has decreed disaster for you.” Thanks for any insight!

  5. Welcome to Worthy! Your question makes me think of thief on the cross. Although he did not have a water baptism he believed in Jesus and Jesus said he would be with him in Paradise.
  6. 23 And there was evening, and there was morning—the fifth day.
  7. Genesis 1:18 18 to govern the day and the night, and to separate light from darkness. And God saw that it was good.
  8. 2ND SAMUEL 8: 18 Benaiah son of Jehoiada was over the Kerethites and Pelethites; and David’s sons were priests.[l] DOES ANYONE KNOW WHY DAVID'S SONS WERE PRIESTS SINCE THEY WERE NOT LEVITES) ?
  9. Omega, Thank you for this club and your hard work for us. This is my verse for today: And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. Hebrews 11:6
