When I read this (2nd Chronicles) it reminded me of the New Testament (Romans 2:11).
2 Chronicles 19:
7 Now let the fear of the Lord be on you. Judge carefully, for with the Lord our God there is no injustice or partiality or bribery.”

A reminder of being careful of ungodly alliances. Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? 2nd Cor. 6:14
