  2. Lamentations 3:22-25 22 The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. 23 Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning. 24 I say to myself, “The Lord is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in him!”
  3. Hebrews 6:18-19 We who have run for our very lives to God have every reason to grab the promised hope with both hands and never let go. It’s an unbreakable spiritual lifeline, reaching past all appearances right to the very presence of God.
  4. History! I can never remember the years, names, eras, and which order they all call come in.
  5. Amen to that! Wonderful. And the Lord keeps it so simple for us. Love Him and He changes our hearts, so that we want to obey Him.
  6. We aren't of this world, as Jesus said. I also don't feel I am of this world either. And like you said, people do avoid us once they know we are Believers of Jesus. They probably feel nervous and a bit frightened of us. So instead, they mock us all amongst themselves. A bit like kids at school. I've also noticed that as soon as you say His name "Jesus", it often has a strong reaction in some people, usually of the mocking or annoyed type. We also don't know who belongs to Jesus, and who doesn't. So, we have to keep praying for these people, and obey the Lord when He tells us to say, or not say something. As some of these people who aren't yet believers could well soon be believers. We don't know who will, and who won't. Love, Becky. Xxx
  7. Oh, here we go? I'm sat in my living room, watching TV News, and this has just broken. I know we're close. But, could we be this close to seeing the Lord? I could be wrong, but I suspect it's just another case of "mine is bigger than yours". (Apologies in advance if this post should be in a different section on the forum). Israel will be destroyed in half an hour if America attacks Iran: senior Iranian MP Iran nuclear deal: Enriched uranium limit breached, IAEA confirms https://www.reuters.com/article/us-mideast-iran-israel/israel-will-be-destroyed-in-half-an-hour-if-america-attacks-iran-senior-iranian-mp-idUSKCN1TW2MO Israel will be destroyed in half an hour if America attacks Iran: senior Iranian MP GENEVA (Reuters) - Israel will be destroyed in half an hour if the United States attacks Iran, a senior Iranian parliamentarian said on Monday, according to the semi-official Mehr news agency. Weeks of tensions culminated last month in U.S. President Donald Trump’s last-minute decision to call off planned strikes on Iran after Tehran downed a U.S. drone. Washington also accused Iran of being behind attacks on ships in the Gulf, which Tehran denies. “If the U.S. attacks us, only half an hour will remain of Israel’s lifespan,” Mojtaba Zolnour, the chairman of the Iranian parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy commission said on Monday, according to Mehr.
  8. Praying for him. I pray he is found safely and that he stays well.
  9. Hi @Debp We saw it on the TV as well. We noticed that Donald Trump looked a bit nervous when stepping over the border into North Korea. Then they both had phtos taken, with big grins on their faces. This was an historic moment as no U.S President has been on North Korean soil before, as you also mentioned. The times, they are a changin'!
  10. So I drove to the Houses of Parliament in London, to see if I could bump into the Former Chancellor of the Exchequer George Osborne. But he no longer worked there. I had a huge surprise when I left the building and came back outside. I bumped into a ..........
  11. If I could list every single one of them, they'd be millions of things, or even more than that. There's stuff He's done for me that I don't even know about. I am so grateful and thankful to Jesus that He chose me to be one of His family. At school, I was always the one that either wasn't chosen for something, or would always be picked last, especially at sports. So, to be chosen by the Highest name above all names, the King of Kings, God Himself, to be in His family, makes me feel so grateful. He's not only saved us as believers, so we can have eternal life with Him. But he also saves us from the problems we get in this life. He's also a practical God. He provides for our needs down here as well. I love the fact that all of us, at the same time, can talk to Him and have one to one personal attention from Him, and we don't all have to wait in a line!
  12. Hi @shortangel It's a wild plant. https://www.rhs.org.uk/advice/profile?pid=458 Better best avoided.
  13. Hi @Neighbor Yikes! I bet you didn't do that again! Becky.
  14. Hi David, Yes, nettles are nasty as well. I bet that was dreadful when you fell into a patch of them. I've never done that, and hope I don't ever do. I'm really careful that I don't lose my balance when I'm strimming, as that wouldn't be fun. Poison oak very nasty too. Thanks for the well wishes and God bless you too. Becky.
  15. Thank you @turtletwo That's very kind of you. I have to admit, my arms are stinging today. Makes you feel a bit urgh. lol.
  16. Hi @Blood Bought 1953 Yeah, you probably will have done. They're all over the place.
  17. Hiya, We've been out in the garden, doing gardening. I've been using the strimmer. If you have a wild garden, be careful of "Hogweed". https://www.healthline.com/health/hogweed-burns#how-it-causes-burns When you cut it down, or strim it, green liquid flies out, and if it hits your skin, wash it off straight away. Or better than that, be more sensible than me, and use a long sleeve shirt. Because it causes burns. I have blisters and bubbles on my arms today. To be fair, I didn't think any had landed on me, but obviously it did. Fortunately I have some steroid cream, and that's the best thing to use for it, according to my Doctor. Just thought I'd post this on here in case anyone has these things in their garden. I've heard of some people who have ended up in hospital with these burns, so do be careful if you're gardening. Hope you are all having a lovely day. Chat later all. Becky. Xxx
  18. What lovely lyrics. I've not heard of this one! Thanks for posting that. I love the words. Xxx
  19. We have the same thing going on in this country as well. Debate after debate. On it goes!
  20. The Lord does it again! Praise God! We were talking earlier that there is only one true teacher, Jesus. The chat I had in particular with @frienduff thaylorde Well, I'm reading Matthew tonight, and I've just read this: Don’t let anyone call you ‘Rabbi,’ for you have only one teacher, and all of you are equal as brothers and sisters.[d] 9 And don’t address anyone here on earth as ‘Father,’ for only God in heaven is your Father. 10 And don’t let anyone call you ‘Teacher,’ for you have only one teacher, the Messiah. 11 The greatest among you must be a servant. 12 But those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted. Matthew 23:8-12
  21. The Power Of Your Love Lord I come to You Let my heart be changed renewed Flowing from the grace That I've found in You Lord I've come to know The weaknesses I see in me Will be stripped away By the power of Your love Hold me close Let Your love surround me Bring me near Draw me to Your side And as I wait I'll rise up like the eagle And I will soar with You Your Spirit leads me on In the power of Your love Lord unveil my eyes Let me see You face to face The knowledge of Your love As You live in me Lord renew my mind As Your will unfolds in my life In living everyday By the power of Your love
  22. The UK Prime Minister two hopefuls are in my home town of Bournemouth tonight doing their hustings. I can imagine that once again, the town is cut off, with security and police. That will "please" the local hotels and restaurants, as no one will be able to get to them! (Seaside resort on the English south coast). I now live in Scotland. The only one who is going to fix this world is Jesus.
  23. I've just looked up Blue Heelers online, and they look lovely dogs. Beautiful. I'm sure your dogs are having a wonderful time in their water trough! https://www.dogster.com/dogs-101/blue-heeler-dog
