  1. Thank you for sharing. I know what we have posted is off of subject line but you do see more than many.
  2. I do respect those in the medical field, however, much is being followed by so called "experts" that have repeatedly been proven wrong in all of their predictions. I know some feared the domino effect, yet Switzerland as a country didn't shut down and have had less instances of the virus than any of the countries around them. The Governor in South Dakota refused to take the freedoms away from the citizens of that state and they have had few instances of the virus and as of a couple of days ago only one death. Group immunity can develop if people will simply go about their lives. I wish I had that Governor in our state instead of the spineless wonder we have. Most of the leaders in our nation have not made wise and prudent decisions. It has been a power high for many as they have enjoyed their power and really hate to give it up and I see too many of Americans simply lay down and accept. I agree we must trust in God, but nothing wrong in declaring God and truth to all who will listen. If something is wrong, then we need to say so. If our society is to accept all that the media says and hide in our homes be it for social acceptance, blind obedience or simply fear then our society needs some changes.
  3. I am aware of the Pentecostal speaking in tongues. Tongues can be a gift of the holy spirit, it can be of wrong spirits and it can be totally fake. What I am speaking of goes far beyond anything you have ever heard or known. My brother speaks in a heavenly language, its not gibberish and it is clearly a language and quite beautiful. I will share with you an event that changed my life forever. On a Sabbath evening as the day of Pentecost began. I was in a motel room in prayer with my brother and 2 other ministers. Our room actually shook, not an earthquake, for people outside of our room didn't feel a thing. But the room shook and we all laid prostrate upon the floor when the Almighty God spoke (in English). He didn't say much but said enough to bring all of us to tears and change our lives forever.
  4. I will share with you the first few pages of Book One. It tells how all of this began. Over the years it has become more powerful and from just a few words or scriptures it has become mighty messages that soon the whole world will know about. This is what happened to my brother. I have prayed with him many times now and yes we hear an audible voice in a beautiful language that my brother speaks without having learned it. But I have seen him get up and write pages without hesitation or correction as it comes back to his mind in English. “I was going to begin my study on speaking in tongues on Saturday, March 4, 2006. I was going to conduct both the sermon and the Bible study, and was uncertain if I should just devote the entire service to the study or deliver a sermon as well. I was working on several possible sermon topics when I decided to go to my bedroom to pray and ask God for his guidance. As I was asking him for guidance on a message, I was praying out loud, on my knees next to my bed. My wife quietly entered the room and went into our bathroom. As I was praying I suddenly uttered a couple of words that were not in English. It surprised me and I stopped and wondered to myself if that really just happened, or was it just my imagination. Then suddenly, as if water had been released from a dam, I began to pray to my Father in another language. It was a language that I have never heard before, but it was made up of words and was not gibberish. These words were not coming from my mind, they were coming from inside of me, and my tongue and mouth were being used to say them. I began to cry and tears were streaming down my face. By this time, my wife, Kimberly, had come out of the bathroom and heard me. She later told me that she stopped when she heard me and at first was startled, and asked God to let her know if this was of him or something evil. She was as amazed, as I was, at what was flowing out of me. After a few minutes, my speaking turned into a song, and I began singing in a fairly high voice. After the singing stopped, my sobbing began to grow more intense and Kimberly came and placed her hands on my shoulders. I was not in a trance; I was aware of the room about me, I felt her hands on me, but the words I was speaking were not being spoken of my will; they were flowing from the spirit within me. I stopped shortly after Kimberly laid her hands on me, and we then discussed in complete amazement what had just occurred. I had never until that moment spoken in tongues, nor had I ever heard anyone else do it with that kind of intensity. Later I walked outside for a few minutes, and began to speak in another language and determined that my prayer was not yet finished. I went back to my bedroom, and on my knees, began again with words that just flowed from me. I again began to sing, but this time I sang a different song in a deeper tone. Needless to say, I did not sleep a lot that evening, and arose early to work on the Bible study. After the events the night before, I concluded that this study was what God wished me to discuss. But I knew that unlike past studies presented on tongues, I had received a personal experience on what this gift from God is like, and knew I would share the event with my church family.” The Almighty God in heaven is the giver of all good gifts. He is the one who promised the gift of his holy spirit once his Son returned to his heavenly throne. The promise was fulfilled on the day of Pentecost following the death and resurrection of his Son. Acts 2: 1–4: When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them. This was the fulfillment of God’s promise. The gift of the Holy Spirit was given unto the New Testament church. I completed my two-part study and came to realize that the gift of tongues is a wonderful gift from God, and is a gift that is for today as well. That day was truly the most amazing day of my life, and has changed my life forever. This book is not about me, but will chronicle my journey as this gift has been revealed and the power of God has been seen and heard. He has given us many messages and continues to give them to us most days, and has given us great pearls of truth and wisdom. I am excited about the future as each week he brings us closer unto him and his Son and reveals more of himself unto us
  5. Wasn't aware we were arguing. But if you feel that if anyone disagrees with you that it is an argument then I guess. As far as fear goes, don't think it is an assumption, I believe it is fact. Most fear because the media told them too.
  6. Most are staying home due to fear. If you aren't that great. I know in our state there are starting to reopen the businesses on Monday, some but not all of them. Reopening things that should have never been closed in the first place. On face book there is a growing number joining, "REOPEN SC". In one of the posts someone posted that they wondered how many would get Covid-19 once we reopen. My response is simple, I don't get up in the morning at the start of a day by asking, I wonder how many will die in a car accident today? I wonder how many will die of the flu today? I wonder how many will die of cancer today? I wonder how many will die of heart disease today? I approach each day with joy! The first words out of my mouth each morning is "Thank you my Lord God and my Lord Jesus for this new day, for your protection in the night and for my life!" Life needs to be treasured and it needs to be lived. I praise them each morning with hands raised. I have told people that you can get up and say, "Good Morning, Lord!" of you can say, "Good Lord, morning!". Same words, different meaning!
  7. Just an update: On Wednesday, April 15, our church gathered to observe the Last Day of Unleavened Bread, thus far ... no sicknesses. Yesterday, we met once again to observe the Sabbath. What joy in fellowship with those of like mind, heart and spirit! Then yesterday afternoon, I had family over. A total of 24 of us for some quality time together. I live where I have woods in front of my home, woods to the left when facing my home and then a large field to the right and behind the home. So some enjoyed riding in a golf cart through the fields. Some played "corn hole" or"Bean toss" , not sure what term you may use. I actually set up two corn toss sets, one smaller one for the children and a larger one for the adults. I started a fire in the fire pit which I have surrounded with chairs and a picnic table. The kids and adults roasted hot dog wieners over the fire. I grilled out burgers. Then all went inside to play more games inside the home. It was a beautiful Sabbath and a wonderful time, a time without fear, a time of great joy and fellowship.
  8. Technology is a wonderful thing and it is amazing how so many can stay in touch over long distances. Our church as an on line conference where people can join to hear the message. But it doesn't replace the need to come together. It is more difficult for those unable to come to service, if they live too far away, not too much to do about it but see them on occasion, but if near then we make a point of visiting. when it comes to the meaning of fellowship, well... there is more than one definition. Here's another: noun the condition or relation of being a fellow:the fellowship of humankind. friendly relationship; companionship:the fellowship of father and son. community of interest, feeling, etc. communion, as between members of the same church. Another meaning: To come together as Christians and worship God, in an environment which mimics what we will be doing in Heaven! To come together in like mind, like heart, like spirit. It is the sharing of light. As much as this forum can be fun, it doesn't even begin to compare to being at church. In this time of trial it is time for churches to start meeting again. Christians were not meant to be apart!
  9. Whether you believe that the Lord Jesus speaks unto man in this day and time or not I hope you find enjoyment in the lessons in this parable. I know the ladies in our church are particularly fond of this one. "I am the Lord Jesus, your Savior and King. Declare this message unto my sheep, for my sheep hear my voice and answer my call unto them. Let these words guide you unto a deeper repentance, and a closer walk with me and my Father. The lady danced within the great chamber. She had prepared herself for this night, and now had her opportunity to dance before the great king. All the maidens of the kingdom had been screened, and only twelve had been selected to entertain the king. The music began, and all of the fair maidens danced as the eyes of the kingdom were upon them. The drums beat, and the tambourines clanked in rhythm. She wore a red dress that was of the finest silk of the east. She was nineteen-years-old and danced to please the king. She was from a humble family, and was not interested when the edict had been posted that the king was having a great banquet for his chosen army. They had been to distant lands conquering and defending the land and honor of their nation. One girl had been selected to represent each tribe of her people. She was of the smallest tribe, and was of the least family of the least tribe. She was goaded into dancing by her sisters, and all were amazed when she was chosen to represent her tribe at the great feast. The music played, and they all swirled and moved in harmony as they had practiced for fourteen days. All eyes were upon them. As the music played, each one would individually dance closer to the king and his mighty generals. Her breath was fast as her turn came to enter the presence of the great king. She saw his face, and looked deep into his eyes of blue. As she danced closer, she saw his face was ruddy and his skin weathered from many days in the field. He was not the largest man present, but he was clearly the chosen one of the great Father. For he too had been the youngest child and of the least family of his tribe. His name was known across the land. King David, chosen and beloved of the Almighty Father, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Their king! He smiled with delight as his men laughed and reveled in the joy of this night. He smiled at her, and then the next maiden danced forward. That night came to her often. She was much older now, and the days had not been kind to her. She sat upon the bed and felt the silk of the red dress she wore that night. In her sad times and lonely times, she would hold the dress, and in her mind, she would dance. “Foolish old woman,” she would say. Why do you think upon the night of thy youth? It was but one night and a thousand nights have passed, which brought greater joy unto you. Her legs were weak now, and she moved slowly about the modest home. The spring of the step was gone. She was tired, and returned the priceless dress back to her trunk and returned to the fire. Their mighty king was gone, and his son of wisdom too had passed. Their current king was not cut from the same cloth, and their nation had lost some of the power and prestige of past days. Why was a red dress her favorite possession? Why did this one memory haunt her above all others? It was but one night out of 86 years of nights. Old woman, who would now believe that you once danced for the king? The years pass, and many things change. Youth is fleeting, and life has many moments, but what is greater than to be in the presence of the king?"
  10. Gun stores open, liquor stores open, Walmart, Target, Trader Joes, Academy all open. Grocery stores open, Lowe's, Home Depot, Sam's Club, Costco all open. Occupancy is limited in some of the stores. Most cashiers now have a sheet of pexiglass between them and the customers. All restaurants are open for pick up and drive thru only. Doctor's office via phone, Dentist offices - emergency only. Churches mostly closed. Our Governor made a "executive order" and reopened something that should have never been closed in the first place ..... our lakes, our boat ramps. Now people are allowed to go fishing. That was his big executive order! Masks and gloves are not mandatory for shoppers, etc..... you see maybe 1/3 of the people with masks, I try not to throw up my hands and give up my wallet when I see them.
  11. Very good point, the power of prayer and the sharing of prayer should never be used only as a last resort. I have never been offended if someone asks if they can pray with me. Another tool of power is in listening and that is one of the forms of compassion.
  12. I love the title of your conversation, and the analogy is good. You can't help but notice that in the ministry of our Lord it wasn't the Lost and Alone that attacked him and desired his death, it was the religious leaders of his time.
  13. All acts of light are good. A sign can be a healthy reminder of our Lord but acts of kindness are much more effective. I for one know that I at times can too abrasive or too defensive and that accomplishes little but a smile, a laugh, a kind word can go so much further. I believe the time is coming when healing and mighty miracles will once more be seen but miracles still occur within the human heart and acts of kindness can create many of those miracles.
  14. I haven't gone against the law of the land at this point as it hasn't gone against the law of heaven. I don't mean to mock but I am urging people not to be fearful. Take precautions yes, absolutely. But as stated before the cure is killing the governments, the people of our nations, not the virus
  15. I doubt you will believe me but here goes.... We are a most blessed group of people in our church. We actually receive words from the Lord God and the Lord Jesus. I know most if not all, will not believe this. I know when it all started happening I shared it with all the pastors in our area. They admitted the words were beautiful but couldn't accept that the Lord would choose a small unknown church to start this amazing miracle, in other words why wasn't it happening to them. Why not to a large church or well known ministers? King David was simply a shepherd boy until the Lord chose him. This miracle isn't happening to me, but I have heard them speak and have received personal words from them. Some of what is happening has been made available in two books that are full of these beautiful messages along with many beautiful parables. The books now need to go to reprint and don't have any copies of Book one available, though we do have some of Book Two. Also at our website some of the messages can be seen. I have posted some in this forum. The Lord told us when it was time for us to meet again. He told us to rejoice before him and enjoy a potluck together. He has also told us that he would us. In the message to us on the Last Day of Unleavened Bread he stated he was going to have mercy upon our nation and the nations of the world. The darkness would rather see our governments collapse. This will happen but not yet. We are in the end times, but there is still a mighty work to be done. So now you know. Now you can choose to doubt or choose to believe, your choice.
  16. At this time I am one who lives within the will of the Lord. My life is in his hands. I am not sick and thus I will not pass it on to anyone. If this is in regards to going to church..... got to worship the Lord otherwise there will definitely be long term damage to my heart!
  17. I am "old people" ha, ha. But not ancient. "smarter than science people and medical people" yes, smarter than some. I find some of the so called "experts" to be nothing but educated idiots with an agenda of darkness. But LadyKay, at least you do understand me, I do go about doing as I want anyway. I'm just an old hardhead. Love Tigger
  18. What you call "ignorance" I guess I call faith. I haven't caused any sickness, nor will I. Seniors, those of poor health, definitely need to take precaution if they feel it is needed. By the way, I guess I am also considered to be a senior. I forget sometimes since I have a dad who is 85 (who is as me, going out and living his life as usual) and I have a mom who is 83, who is of poor health but also attended church and goes out as she can. I haven't broken any laws and I'm not breaking any by defending the liberty and freedom upon which this nation was built along with a believe in God that our forefathers professed.
  19. The other day a lady went by with a bra being used as a mask. It was pretty funny!
  20. Don't see where all of the hospitals are being overwhelmed. If you get sick, many are getting over it without ever seeking medical treatment. I read an interesting article a couple of days ago where the army opened an emergency hospital in Seattle Washington to help with overflow from the virus. They opened this up on March 30th. They closed it on April 13th without treating one patient because they weren't needed, the hospital was handling it. I have a nephew who is a nurse in Charleston. He is hurting financially because he isn't getting enough hours, they have cut his hours due to the lack of patients. So maybe in some areas it is overflowing but in many areas it isn't.
  21. Okay.... already aware of these. But the Governor of this state also said that and I will quote from a letter I got from his Deputy Chief of Staff.... "Under the constitution, freedom of religion is a principle that supports the freedom of an individual or community, in public or private, to manifest religion or belief in teaching, practice, worship, and observance. We encourage individuals to practice social distancing if they do attend church services in person ...." We are meeting together, they "encourage" social distancing. It isn't mandatory and we are choosing not to do this. I really don't even like this term of "social distancing".
  22. To Debp and others.... I do want to thank you for your love and concern for me. I know you think I am being foolish and I know no amount of words will make you think otherwise though I can only hope they would. I know many won't believe that the Lord speaks but we were given words before we met that it was time to come back together and that all would be shielded. This I know to be true. You don't have to believe it, but I do. Like I said, if any get sick from this virus I will let you know but I know it won't happen. It did feel wonderful yesterday to see our parking lot full as we came together to worship the Lord. I was glad to know our community saw this and will see it again this Sabbath and I hope it gives some hope. We need to get back to our lives. Our church is going back to our regular worship services. Yesterday there was so much gladness and joy in our church and yes it will still be there in all of our hearts 14 days from now.
  23. Actually don't think I tempted anything. I truly know that the Lord shielded us and blessed our time together. I will be glad to let all know if any get sick from our time of worship and fellowship from yesterday. This Sabbath we will be back together, but no potluck (those are usually no more than once per month maximum). However we do sit around after the service for more songs, a shared snack and fellowship and sometimes prayer.
  24. True, but more will die in car accidents and other causes than by the virus.
  25. I guess each has their own reality. Reminds me of the story where 3 blind men approached an elephant because they wanted to know what an elephant looked like but were unable to see. One grabbed its leg, one touched its massive side, one grabbed its trunk. After they walked away the first said the elephant was just like a tree, the other said no it is more like a house, the third said no you are all mistaken it is more like a snake. My reality is walking in trust in the Lord each day. My life is in his hands, when I get in a car, whether I am in an accident or not, whether I die or not.. my life is in his hands and He can take it when He chooses either way I am in his hands. I don't tempt death by driving crazy, or by riding with some people that I know to be bad drivers etc.... I also do not believe I am tempting death by going about my life outside of my home during these crazy times. Those who stay inside, if they feel better and safer then may God protect and bless them where they are and may He protect and bless me where I am.
