It may be but it seemed simpler than that. Like God has named you since the beginning. Something like that or maybe as simply as God has named you. I doubt that my worldly name is what is in the Lambs Book of Life:O) But then I am not a scholar in the word.

The word speaks of God having a name for each of us. I always wonder what mine is. Does he name us like those in the OT or maybe the NT? What's your thoughts on it if you have any? I haven't seen any clues in the bible, have you?

I like what you have said here. Makes sense to me. So those not predestined God knew that they would reject him. So it is not that they will grieve not being chosen as God knows that they don't want it. Thank you!

I completely agree with you. But you can't win with them. Its impossible to convince them of the truth in the word. I have been reading their posts at another forum and I am thinking that maybe they don't really believe in the Jesus we believe in. Slowly they seem to be turning away from the truth of the bible and maybe that is their eventually goal They seem to always be seeking converts.

There are so many different thoughts on this. Right now I have decided that we are all selected in the beginning but then we can be unselected by our own decisions in life. This is what I have gotten out of all the opinions. I don't think the word is clear on it. This is the hope I have that we all get the same chance

Sometimes I have done that but usually when I have found myself thinking badly about the person and in order to correct it I follow by something nice out of guilt. Of course that is not the idea. There have been so many good responses that I think I might be able to do it in the future when it comes up. I have already been using the "lord forgive them" a few times today. That reminds me to stop thinking the way I am and move on. I really do appreciate all of you for your kindness and wisdom.

So much wise advice. Thank you all! Each time I think of those events I am going to think this ' Father forgive them,' and squash the thoughts. I have asked God to take them away but I am not dealing with them as I should after reading all your thoughtful answers. Thanks again, I wish to be as wise as you all! I'd like to understand what is entailed in forgiving someone. Sometimes I think I have forgiven a harm but the offense comes up in my memory and I wonder if I have really forgiven. Maybe I should remember no more. I might get upset when thinking about it and then wonder if I truly have forgiven. How should I feel if I have truly forgiven? As you can see I have a problem with forgiveness and the meaning.

What is the 3rd number in the list 19, 12 and thirty six?: It seems tricky to me. 1? Or this one? The 5th number from twenty seven, thirty three, thirty five, eighteen and 27 is? .

@Debp I am having a problem replacing my picture. It uploads and shows it but does not replace my picture that is now in that slot. I want a different pic. Thank you i did find a button at the bottom of the pic and deleted it but now their is a panoramic pic instead of my corner for the avatar. So, lol, i doubt their will be a pic in the right slot but it will be interesting to see if it comes out all the way across the top of the page, lol.
