  1. If I understod well, I posted two different topics. One just intended for women as we are discussing here and another just intended for men. I len there is another referring ti Ephesians 5:25-33.
  2. I am still unmarried my sister...LOL! This topic is also for us who want and would like to get married. The reason we must follow God's instructions when the Bible recommands to marry amongst us. I mean a Christian must mary a Christian. Romans 12:1-2 Dedicate Your Lives to Gof 1 Brothers and sisters, in view of all we have just shared about God’s compassion, I encourage you to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, dedicated to God and pleasing to him. This kind of worship is appropriate for you. 2 Don’t become like the people of this world. Instead, change the way you think. Then you will always be able to determine what God really wants—what is good, pleasing, and perfect. When we watch films, we seldom learn good things if not what is against God's instructions. And even at school we are taught about claiming for our rights an so on. I sincerely believe that the HJoly Spirit won't leave ys alone as long as we please Him. The instructions we find innside the Bible are for Christians and not for pagans. How can we ask a Pagan to follow God's commandments they did not give their life to Jesus Christ. Tis is out dury or responsibility to be His witnesses eveerywhere in order to win more souls for Him. We often make lots of mistake like GOD WIL CHANGE HIM and when it oes not happen we accuse God while the Bible tells us how to choose our partner. of course, the Bible tells us submit our projects to God and He will decide so we know what we should and this topicis also forus.Once again I repeat, I am still unmarried. I am turning 43 on 25 March and I have never been in any love relationshipand maybe this is the reason why. I do not know. Maybe? Please donot lose your heart because our God has a the better for all of us in store. Proverbs 16:1-3 (GOD'S TRANSLATION) Wisdom’s Blessings Come from the Lord 1 The plans of the heart belong to humans, but an answer on the tongue comes from the LORD. 2 A person thinks all his ways are pure, but the Lord weighs motives. 3 Entrust your efforts to the Lord, and your plans will succeed. Otherwise here is what the NIVUK (Nex Intyernational Version - UK) says: 1 To humans belong the plans of the heart, but from the Lord comes the proper answer of the tongue. 2 All a person’s ways seem pure to them, but motives are weighed by the Lord. 3 Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans. And as Christian ladles, uou must always dress decently and meditate your Bible in order to discover the plans that God has for you in store. We should not be afraid bcause our Fater is always in control.
  3. I totally agree with you my beloved. However it has become very hard to meet such peole or such a Sister who would accept that and life has become harder than previously so both of them shold agree about. And we men have left women alone and children are now educated by moms only and even the laws in most countries do not help. We Christians must not compromise our faith and we need to pray a lot and Young Christian need more education to save the future. I think I did not write anything wrong or confused.
  4. I am very sorry for keeping silent. Indeed, I was unable to retrieve my topics until now. I am sorry agaon. Well, I totallu agree with you. And the reason why I mentioned Christian because this is for the one who is God's child. The Bible says so in Romans 8:14 'GOD’S WORD Translation): "Certainly, all who are guided by God’s Spirit are God’s children." I mean whoever is led by the Holy Spirit, of course. A Christian husband annot push his wife to sin not a Christian wife push her husband to sin. I think I understood what you meantand that my response did not offend anyone.
  5. EPHESIANS 5:25-33 - GOD’S WORD Translation 25 Husbands, love your wives as Christ loved the church and gave his life for it. 26 He did this to make the church holy by cleansing it, washing it using water along with spoken words. 27 Then he could present it to himself as a glorious church, without any kind of stain or wrinkle—holy and without faults. 28 So husbands must love their wives as they love their own bodies. A man who loves his wife loves himself. 29 No one ever hated his own body. Instead, he feeds and takes care of it, as Christ takes care of the church. 30 We are parts of his body. 31 That’s why a man will leave his father and mother and be united with his wife, and the two will be one. 32 This is a great mystery. (I’m talking about Christ’s relationship to the church.) 33 But every husband must love his wife as he loves himself, and wives should respect their husbands. In the lght of this Bible verses, it is very cler that a Christian single man who is ready for marriage knows his duties. Otherwise he must not look for a wife. Therefore I wonder why a Christian single lady asks for a Christian single man if he can take care of her and why taking care of her is a criterion to marriage. Indeed, a Christian single man means a man who is led by the Hly Spirit. He mdeitates his Bible every day and he is alao also alert about his duties as a husband and then no one needs to teach him about the roles or duties. If not how can he be the head of his family and then the family? When a Christian single woman asks some proof he can take care of her, her brother (the Christian single man) vpould think she just wants his money. MARRIAGE means a lot and so Man and Woman must get to know each other and since they are Christian, take care of one's spouse or not must not be something to be scared of because the Holy Spirit is leading that relationship. And Man must alsways suffer for her and his family. Unfortunately, we dont want toobey the bible because we chose to adapt it to the what the world requiires today. We were cretaed to glorify God. 1 CORINTHIANS 11:8-9 (GOD’S WORD Translation) 8 Clearly, man wasn’t made from woman but woman from man. 9 Man wasn’t created for woman but woman for man. Wives are not slaves and they won't be. But A wife needs to help her hisband in his work because she was created for him. So a Xhriostian single man knows always what to do for his wife and then she will always be submlissive. GENESIS 2:18 - GOD’S WORD Translation 18 Then the Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper who is right for him.” As we can read above, God created Eve (woman) for Adam (man). A Husband might not hurt his wife because she a part of him. We suffer in marriage because we diod not follow God's principles. For example, if your husband is a pastorthen you must assist him to make easy his ministery. You cannot be someone else and block his ministery.
  6. EPHESIANS 5:22-24 (GOD’S WORD Translation) 22 Wives, place yourselves under your husbands’ authority as you have placed yourselves under the Lord’s authority. 23 The husband is the head of his wife as Christ is the head of the church. It is his body, and he is its Savior. 24 As the church is under Christ’s authority, so wives are under their husbands’ authority in everything. We are Christians and then we need to submit to the Word of God . Otherwise we do not belong to Jesus Christ. As some preachers say, God knows that it is difficult for a woman to be submitted and so He gave such a commandment. The Bible talks to Christians so we all know what we must do in order to get married. No Christian man has to require submission from another Christian woman before they get married because they are both God's chrildren and tey knwo what He wants for them. 1 CORINTHIANS 11:8-9 (GOD’S WORD Translation) 8 Clearly, man wasn’t made from woman but woman from man. 9 Man wasn’t created for woman but woman for man. No Christian wife can rebel to her husband because God rebellion means disobeys God.
  7. The Bible says this one below: "That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh." (Genesis 2:24) Referring to the Bible verse, I think that a man should first be able to take care of himself and have a bob or a kind of occupation and then he can get committed to a relationship leading into marriage. When we men accuse women to be selfish, we are wrong in some way because a woman needs security and protection from her partner. However, we must also be wise because not al women are serious and it is not easy to open one's hert to another person without any trust so we need to be honest in a relationship. Lots of women say they are looking for a serious relationship or marriage but they do not understand the reason why we need to get married and why they need a partner. The Bible verse says that a man leaves his father and mother. How can he leave them if he is not able to rent a house or live alone. How can he leave his father and mother if he has no activity? How is he going to date a lady when he is under his parents' authority? And how about the children? They need comfort, security, education and food so that they grow up very well. And what it happens to date online, a ,an and a woman should be honest and talk seriously. We are Christians and so we need to think about all, including the distance. And there is a big trap here because a woman who is about to date a man could think that her partner is rich because he lives abroad. it is not always true. In that case, the woman could ask money from her partner and says that they cannot date because he is unable. I understand why most ladioes prefer to date in her coountry instead of accepting online dating. When you are able to travel abroad and meet her in person, she could think that you are moneyed and so she has won the jackpot while it is always the same. Thanks for stopping by reading this topic or post. Fortunately, we have our Lord who intercedes for us every day and He wil never let us be because He loves us and al He wants is our happiness (Jeremiah 29:11). Everything is possible to our Lordf God (Luke 1:37). Jesus Christ of Nazareth loves you..
  8. Hello everyone, During several years, I have been glad as a single and I wasn't interested in getting married but now I NEED A WIFE, I NEED MY WIFE. I'm wondering what I must do. Of course I keep ln praying but I'm wondering a lot what I must do. When Adam Saw Eve, he recognized her. I need the guidance of the Holy Spirit. I have African Roots and I still wonder where she Is from. She must be Born Again, of course. I've just started earning a SALARY and as the Bible says, where Is the Joy to work hard and earn loney when I am alone? Nowadays, most Sisters in Christ look at the pocket before accepting to Marty you, to become your WIFE. They are Ready to divorce and remarry. In Matthew 5:31-32 and Matthew 19:3-19, the Lord teaches us about marriage, divorce and remarriage. "You have been taught that a man who divorces his wife must write out divorce papers for her.[a] 32 But I tell you not to divorce your wife unless she has committed some terrible sexual sin. If you divorce her, you will cause her to be unfaithful, just as any man who marries her is guilty of taking another man's wife." - Matthew 5:31-32 How about her age? God created Adam first then He created Eve. She must be younger than me but I'm unable to say how Old she must be. How about the children? "People who don't take care of their relatives, and especially their own families, have given up their faith. They are worse than someone who doesn't have faith in the Lord." - 1 Timothy 5:8 Indeed, I have never been in a couple and I have no kids. I was born in 1981 so I'm turning 42 by the end of March. May the Peace of GOD be with toi all!
  9. Shalom! I am wondering about what we call Easter. In the past it was referring to an Anglo Saxon or a Viking god named so. Nowadays it has become the modern Passover. Then aren`t we celebrate easter? what happened so that we changed Passover into Eater? Over years and centuries there were many mistakes that falsified or compromised our faith. I am still wondering if we should celebrate Easter or the Passsover. God bless everyone through Yeshua Hamashiach (Jesus the Messiah) . Amen!
  10. Hello Angels, I recently found some videos on Youtube concerning English lessons and canticles suchas more love, more power. Therefore I will return there when having time. I have not internet at home then I did not hesitate to go to the airport when i have been told that the wireless connection is free at the airport. I could return there next time the lord God allows me to. I thank you again. And, I expect from fining better. UInfortunately I couldn't download films for free. I thank you again and God bless you in Chriust Jesus. Amen!
  11. God bless you in Jesus Christ the Lord and our saviour. Amen!
  12. Hello GandalTheWise and Justin and i thank you for your contribution. In our country pupils rarely like studying English and they can say they will never go to England. But many of them like singing English songs. And as a teacher of English I must havve them to be in love with English. The government do not open a way of teaching the Gospel in schools but there are some denominational schools then we find moslem or christian schools here in the Congo. Religion is not taught in state (public) schools. Moreover there are lots of Christian teachers throughout the Congo. I wonder whether I can start every class by saying a common prayer together with my students. For example I plan to use the following prayer before starting class every time we meet in class: Almighty God We give You our school. We give you all the teachers and staff who work here, We give You all the children who study here. We pray our school would be place of great discovery, adventure and creativity. May it be a place where we love to learn and where we learn to love, A place where everyone is respected and all are deeply valued. We ask all this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. I think that every pupil will be interested in saying a prayer at every meeting but we must avoid it becomes like a routine then we can alternate with the Lord's prayer in two versions. I don't know if it can work. We must comply with the national syllabus but, not in the whole since we have some freedom to teach some items when we judge them necessary to the pupils. We teachers manage ourselves with running oral session but the teachi,ng of English is more written than oral or read. Of course grammar is very important to speakEnglish very well but we need to speak it too. And in case we comply with the national syllabus we teach songs three times a year I mean one per term. I conceived a booklet with bilingual introductory dialogues and i thonk it helps. Thanks a lot for your comfort and chiefly your prayers. Markus 10:13-16
  13. I teach English in a state (public) school and, which is a junior secondary one I mean a middle school. Well, in state schools we do not teach the Gospel but most of my pupils are Christian or attend a church then I would like all of them to know Yahweh the Lord God and obey Him every day and every where. Then I think of teaching them the Lord's Prayer for example which they canb repeat every day before starting a class ort another prayer I found online and in which we are going to pray with submitting the whole of our school, including all the teachers and the head teacher and the pupils and all clssrooms so that everything be under the Holy Spirit's control. Most like singing and I also want to teach them English canticles without neglecting the fact they dislike English for most I wonder how I could manage with. I am very motivated to do it when thinking of Colossians 3:23 and 1 Corinthians 10:31. Thanks for your replies and God bless you in Jesus Christ. Amen!
  14. Hello JTC, Why not talking to her franckly and if she I strongly believe that Yahweh our Lord God and Father in heaven will help you keeping your friendship. For real friendship only comes from heart and of course with Jesus Christ in its centre. You cannot succeed without jesus Chrst, the Bible says in John 15:5. By the way, you have to pray for yourself and your lovely sister I mean your family member. And why not te whole of your family? Shalom!
  15. Shalom! I think I am posting this topic in the suitable forum. Well, I would like to know if there are some Christian websites where I can download videos for free. Indeed, I am leading an English Club with secondary students and, I need some videos songs to be used when teaching songs in English version. Songs I am allowed to learn and teach with lyrics for my students. That's a very good way to share the Gospel. Thanks for your replies. 1 Corinthians 10:31
  16. Shalom to you all! I would like to set up a childhood project: owning a Christian library but I don't know how to start neither when. In church I help a brother with selling books such the Bibles in lots of versions and other Christian books but they all are in French since I live in a French-speaking country. I would rather a Christian library where the public could come and borrow books and provided that they keep them safe of course. The main problem I am struggling with is money for I have no fund to start my business if I can call it so. Of course I teach English as a graduated teacher but since I started teaching six years ago I never was recruited and from the forthcoming academic year I will be teaching in my seventh year. Surely and, with your experience I can do what is very good. By the way I also plan to help students (pupils) with English books because here they dislike English and have a few opportunities to read about English. It is also another way to share and teach the Gospel. Colossians 3:23
  17. Hebrews 4:12 [New International Version - UK (NIVUK)] 12 For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.
  18. Dear Beloved, I am posting this thread from Brazzaville, republic of the Congo. And i am writing to please you to pray and give some advice as my application is concerned. Indeed, i applied for "Youth Ministry" tto be studied at California Baptist University, in short CBU. The matter i am confronted with is concerned with financing my studies during my stay at CBU with taking my books, insurance, accommodation, travel ticket, and all about necessary to study in quite and comfortable conditions. The international Admissions adviser write to me she received my documents and all their required translations, from French into English, and she now need to get my official Financial Statement so that she sends me the i-20 form for the visa process. Currently and according to my life condition, I cannot pay for any part of my studies at CBU. and CBU has no more than a scholarship programme and it is not intended for international students. there is no Financial Aid programme for international students. i should find by myself a sponsor to pay for my studies. I chose as major, to study the "Youth Ministry". Also, I wrote to many baptist Conventions and Agencies/organizations and all i got for response is that they cannot sponsor my studies. Except one member who wrote to me he is already sponsoring students in a Haitian University. By the way, I found a website for international students loans but i could not apply for loans because they require to submit a co-signer and I have no one to be submitted as a co-signer and he or she must live in the u.s.A. or have been living there during two years. All of my friends living the are students yet. I applied for the fall 2009 and I will first get started with the ACCESS Programme as English language course is concerned. Please my dearest, i did not know what i must do for now. i feel as being at the end. I only give myself to the Lord GOD who has the best for me as he says in Jeremiah 29:11. Sincerely, I am wondering if i should stop searching for sponsor and abandon my application or not. since i have no relationship to be some help to me. and in otherwise, i fear the GOD's anger because it is about His honour and to be at His service. Into the Messiah's LOVE Chang.[font="Century Gothic"
  19. Hello My Beloved in Jesus Christ of Nazareth: Aged 28,I am currently a first-year student in English at the grande
  20. Hey RunningGator: Thansk for your response. Unfortunately, i cannot answer you with precision. since your response already impressed me a lot. In fact,I thought of the Baptist faith to be the same all over the world. But, maybe I will be more interestd in the one related to the Missionaries. For example, I heard from here in the Congo that acoording to the Baptist, churches memebres of a church are very few. I heard of about one hundred persons for one church community. Shalom !!!
  21. Dear Kari; I agree with Biblicist when saying Jesus Christ was known as "Friend of sinners". But you need to pay atention with Pagans since they also can lead you into sins. So, if you cannot go further with them, justy stop going deeper into your relationship with them. However, concerning to hang out with them, it's up to what you mean with it. If it means for example, to go dancing, there is a danger since we have immoral dances into bars , pubs and other similar places. Then, above all, we need to ask for the GOD's willpower about knowing and reaching what he would ghave done at our place. GODF bless you tjhropugh Jesus Christ. Amen!!!
  22. Dear Beloved, I am very happy and glad zhen hearing about rthe Missionary vison from the Baptist Church and it could not be any surprise in case I join them. Because, since I was a little boy, I am thinking of becoming Missionary. However, there are many things and information I have to know hence, I would like to meet p[eople and and reach the way to discover and know them further. I mean, I would be most grateful if someone could tel me more about the Baptist faith and how they are different from others such as Lutherans, Methodists and so on. I was baptized as a member of the Evangelical Church of the Congo as known here, in French, under the name of Eglise Evangelique du Congo and shortly as E.E.C. but theye do not have the same Missionary vison as the baptist Church is known ad is doing all over the world. We have here a new Church called Evangelical Baptist Chjurch but their leader has been an Evanmgelist come from the E.E.C. and I am then wondering a lot about his basics on the Baptist faith. Thanks in advance and GOD bless you through Jesus Christ. Amen.
  23. Dear Beloved, I am in need of advice, please. Aged of 2, I would like to pursue my studies but there is no opportunity given to me. In fact, patrenmts divorced and I am living at home with my only bro and dad took his new wife. She came home with two other sisters of whom one if her daughter and another her niece while another came during these last summer holidays but finally she stayed with us for studies. dad recently told me to do not dot what I want. He approved i should do what he wants me to do. By the way, i would like to become a missionary but neither mom nor dad is approving of my heart desire. I began saying to live as Paul since I was a little boy and when I also was saying to do not get married and travelling a wide all over the world with witnessing Jessu Christ everywheere the Holy Spirit will send me to go, in the context of my job. I ignored at this moment, I was doing one missionary commitement. Now, I am in need of money to go back school so that I may register for the IB (A-Level) examination for the school, year 2007/08. Just as I am applying for overseas institutions such as Princeton University where I am applying online. But I am also confronted there with money matters to take the TOEFL (Test of English as a foreign Language) and the SAT I and II. Dad told me without any intermediary I am become such a charge to him. While he is also responsible for my failure. Since, during the year 2004/05, when preparing for the yourth and last time for the IB examination, I was enroled for the course of Networks and Telecommunications in a private college og higher education. And I was unfortunately expulsed from the classroom for moey matters. Please, I just need you for advice and prayers. Shalom to all of you. With Messiah`s Love
