  1. "AI might soon be able to encourage original thinking, something humans, so called teachers, in a classroom setting are not likely to encourage in their students today as the teachers are being instructed to homogenize outcome to fit a standard, a teach to the test more than a teaching of how to learn and to build upon that in order to discover anew" is a run-on sentence. And by "critic thinking" do you mean "critical thinking"?

    BORN AGAIN

"Study" is olde Englyshe and does not mean what "study" means in modern English. Here is a far better translation of that verse: "Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved by him, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly explaining the word of truth." NRSVue and similarly in other modern translations.
  3. a) I am not interested in watching your chosen video. b) Why must you be insulting? I am not volunteering to be ignorant. I am surprised that someone who is charged with oversight must resort to such a tactic. I have reported your personally insulting post.
  4. Believe what you want. Personally, I believe credible news services. No, I do not.
  5. Why are you playing around with this kind of sophistry? I don't find it amusing; it borders on blasphemy! There has been only one sinless person: Jesus Christ. Everyone else has sinned. The difference between an unsaved person and a saved person is that the former is controlled by sin. Paul describes it perfectly in Romans 7:15-17 "I do not understand my own actions. For I do not do what I want, but I do the very thing I hate. Now if I do what I do not want, I agree that the law is good. But in fact it is no longer I who do it but sin that dwells within me." No Christian seriously thinks that it's best to keep living in sin. That is nonsense. As is "Sounds like the way to know one is saved is to live after the flesh and be a good sinner!" If you're trying to be funny, you're not!
  6. The closest I found is in Acts 7:51, "“You stiff-necked people, uncircumcised in heart and ears, you are forever opposing the Holy Spirit, just as your ancestors used to do." Is that what you're referring to?
  7. A federal judge in Delaware dismissed two tax misdemeanor charges against Hunter Biden that were filed as part of his now-defunct plea deal, paving the way for special counsel David Weiss to potentially bring more charges in another jurisdiction as part of his continuing probe. After the plea deal collapsed earlier this month, Weiss’ prosecutors asked District Judge Maryellen Noreika to dismiss the charges in Delaware, so new charges could potentially be brought in California or Washington, DC. Hunter Biden’s lawyers agreed that the charges should be dismissed, because they were only brought in Delaware as part of the earlier plea agreement. Noreika approved the procedural request on Thursday. Source: https://www.cnn.com/2023/08/17/politics/hunter-biden-tax-charges-plea-deal-dismissed/index.html
  8. That is not the case. If we live by the Spirit (as born-again Christians are) then our lives are guided by Him. Since none of us is perfect, we will continue to sin. That is our nature. The difference is that, now that we are saved, sin no longer controls us, There was only one person who never sinned: Jesus Christ.
  9. Vine Abider is right. We are no longer under the law. Romans 7:4-6, "In the same way, my brothers and sisters, you have died to the law through the body of Christ, so that you may belong to another, to him who was raised from the dead in order that we may bear fruit for God. For while we were living in the flesh, our sinful passions, aroused by the law, were at work in our members to bear fruit for death. But now we are discharged from the law, dead to that which held us captive, so that we are enslaved in the newness of the Spirit and not in the oldness of the written code." Clearly this does not refer to just the animal sacrificial law, but to the entire Old Covenant law.
  10. It is not disregarded by mainstream Christians. Read Matthew 7, 1-5: “Do not judge, so that you may not be judged. For the judgment you give will be the judgment you get, and the measure you give will be the measure you get. Why do you see the speck in your neighbor’s eye but do not notice the log in your own eye? Or how can you say to your neighbor, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ while the log is in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your neighbor’s eye." and also Luke 18:9-14, "He also told this parable to some who trusted in themselves that they were righteous and regarded others with contempt: “Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. The Pharisee, standing by himself, was praying thus, ‘God, I thank you that I am not like other people: thieves, rogues, adulterers, or even like this tax collector. I fast twice a week; I give a tenth of all my income.’ But the tax collector, standing far off, would not even lift up his eyes to heaven but was beating his breast and saying, ‘God, be merciful to me, a sinner!’ I tell you, this man went down to his home justified rather than the other, for all who exalt themselves will be humbled, but all who humble themselves will be exalted.”
  11. According to NPR, "He paints a dark, conspiratorial picture of the world, bristling with debunked theories, misleading claims and outright falsehoods such as advocating anti-vaccine misinformation and public health–related conspiracy theories. Among other wacko theories, he claims that the COVID is a engineered bioweapon that spares Ashkenazi Jews and Chinese while affecting other groups. He also claims that President Biden is denying him Secret Service protection, and Wi-Fi causes cancer and "leaky brain". Also, he claims that antidepressants are to blame for school shootings and chemicals in the water supply could turn children transgender. There are more, but those should be sufficient to prove he is nuts.
  12. It is a violation of the first amendment for the Bible to be read in public schools. If you disagree, then what is your argument atgainst5 reading the Koran in public schools also? The rest5 of your post doesn't deserve a response.
  13. Why are you changing the subject? Abortion is not murder. It is a medical procedure to terminate a pregnancy and is performed for a variety of reasons. Frankly, I'm really tired of hearing that argument. Would you prefer that innocent women die because the fetus is malformed??
  14. Adultery is far worse than violent crime? Really? You can be put in jail for the rest of your life or even executed for murdering someone. There is no such penalty for adultery.
  15. But I was referring to people of the same sex. Regardless, the problem is not what people are actually doing but what people fantasize about what they are doing.
  16. I think you meant that Galatians 5:19-21 are what we should not be doing.
  17. This is a total misrepresentation. a) Works cannot save anyone. Salvation is a gift from God. Ephesians 2:8-9, "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God—not the result of works, so that no one may boast. b) You are conflating salvation with works done by a Christian. No Christian wants to continue living a sinful life c) Why are you distorting God's word?
  18. Bobby Kennedy was a great, wise man who served his country admirably. His son is a nut job whose mind is filled with bizarre theories about vaccines and public health-related conspiracies.
  19. Somehow I don't believe you. Was that really their reply?

    BORN AGAIN

Okay, we get it. There is no need to repeat the same thing seven times.
  21. They don't inaugurate people who are in prison. There is no federal pardon if he is convicted in Georgia.
