  1. I'm not against trinitarians either though. I do believe sound doctrine is key though, and that the doctrine of the trinity is far from sound. May the will of GOD be done on/ in the earth as it is in heaven. peace
  2. One in Spirit isn't the same as saying GOD almighty. GOD almighty prayed to GOD almighty according to what I initially responded to. As such; it could not have been sincere or in earnest. And Jesus said His GOD was the only true GOD. Not to mention the bible expressly repeatedly states that GOD is not man, or the son of man.
  3. So He never actually prayed to GOD then and wasn't man either; got it; no thanks. peace
  4. Scripture records Jesus praying to GOD. If He was GOD almighty as a man then He didn't pray to GOD almighty as man; at least not in earnest or sincerity. Such must not be the case. Jesus also said His GOD was GOD and not Himself. Surely He wasn't lying. Sorry for the confusion. peace
  5. I'm sorry but surely you aren't implying that Jesus ever lied. Are you implying He never prayed to GOD in earnest and sincerity?
  6. Couldn't help but notice none mentioned Abaddon...does it not do the will of the Lord?
  7. I think adoration and reverence are partially descriptive of a "godly love" or a genuine reciprocal love for GOD. Not that GOD would need to revere us though. I think mercy/ grace, and loving kindness are also somewhat descriptive of the long suffering and patience of GOD... Just talking, peace
  8. Yet greed isn't exactly synonymous with lust. Both have to do with desires regarding self. If greed is the root of all evil then it must produce fear and pride, as those three are what all sin stems from in my opinion.
  9. I would think they fight that fight through submitting to what is actually good rather than what is easy or "feels" good. The desires of the mind and flesh can be contrary to what GOD desires for us at any GOD given moment. With prayer and active conscious focus on the things of GOD we can be equiped to both see deception; and win against it. A very good topic, and you've brought up some solid points. Thank you. peace
  10. Could you define "demon" as you mean it in your opening post?
  11. Still not sure where I'm loosing you. Do you contend that the Word and Spirit of GOD is the same as the GOD inspired written word of men? Perhaps you believe that the very Spirit of GOD is limited to the words written by inspired and inspirited men. Isn't the argument rather moot considering all the scripture about new things and greater works? If you are just trying to say that a message from GOD will be in accord with the teachings of the Christ as denoted in our Bible then I agree. If you are trying to say something else then I'm not sure I follow, and as for an attempt at clarification in your own words. As an aside; if we can't parse scriptural truth in our own words then do we really know the lessons of our little sacred book? peace
  12. Not sure I'm understanding your questions. I read and study from multiple interlinears. I did not insinuate that what can be deduced from a GOD given spiritual understanding of the written word is not sufficient for one to accomplish the will of GOD within their own life. My point was and is that we should be careful not to limit the power of the very Spirit of GOD.
  13. I don't think I was very clear initially. I know of one who claims the Holy Spirit of GOD is limited in capacity to quoting verbatim scripture to the believer. This is not accurate to me though seeing as how all scripture we read is translation. The Spirit is not limited to recital of translated texts. That doesn't mean what is taught through the Holy Spirit will be contrary to scriptural understanding.
  14. Yes sir. I thought that was you meaning; but the text clearly doesn't limit revelations of the Holy Spirit of GOD to what has already been revealed. The simplest of proof being that the verse you quoted says "and". That's all. I know of someone who literally uses that particular verse to limit the capacities and abilities of the very Spirit of GOD; claiming GOD is limited to what is already taught....just doesn't seem accurate to me. I don't mean to offend. peace
  15. ....did you notice the word "and" in the verse you referenced? Surely any new thing will be in accord with the teachings of the Christ of GOD. I would venture to say that such a thing would too be in accord with the selfless conscience... peace
  16. Good topic. A godly sorrow brings one to the potential of repentance. Humility and shame seem to go hand in hand for some... peace
  17. Not at this time. I've already made multiple scriptural references that remain ignored. And if it's rude to unpack loaded questions then call me rude.
  18. Seems like an excuse to revel in that which is not of the will of the Lord. So bad teaching isn't false teaching then? So we are to just claim we cannot do what is of the will of GOD because we have not been given of the Spirit? Was the Christ of GOD speaking of things people will do after they die when He said "even greater things"? No compartmentalizing please.
  19. Did you say the premise of unity is a false teaching!? Pretty sure the Christ of GOD said otherwise. John 10:15-16 peace
  20. I am referring to the vessel in which the very Spirit of GOD is pleased to dwell. It is the Christ of GOD that begins this work no doubt. I see now you were referring to a temple built by man's hands, and too that you are aware that such a structure is not the actual holy temple of GOD. peace
  21. I'm sorry; but the "third temple" is not some structure built by the hands of men. The Holy Temple of GOD is the believer. Similarly to how the body of Christ is comprised of believers. Israel is a reference to the believer and has zero to do with geography...in my opinion.
  22. Please do. If you contend that my words do not express biblical truth then please do support your claim.
