  1. There are a lot of Internet prophets out there making a lot of Godly sounding predictions and proclamations. They are either self sponsored and from an organized ministry. After about a year, I have not found one which has been of any useful effect upon the Body of Christ. They are all Pentecostal, and have given proof for the error of socalled "prophetic gifts today."
  2. Yes, you admit 20 years ago you said "Soon it will be evident to everyone." The "Soon" description was in error. Care to be responsible for idle words ... ? (Hint: check Matt. 12:36. Unless you ignore that part of the Bible. Do you?) Yes, I agree you are a preacher.
  3. Perhaps these hapless Christians were thing much too often in terms of "may." Or, even in terms of "let," as they would presume to "let God" do some things?
  4. Thanks. I am sure you are sincere, hut your long explanation was too much to follow. Jesus coming to poor and desperate people cannot be that complicated.
  5. I was wondering if anybody in here could give some practical advice about how we can know for sure if the things in Pentecostalism are actually real. I have been to a numberof Pentecostal services and revivals where they talked for half an hour about Jesus and the Apostles healing peoole on the spot, then they prayed for healing of sick and disabled people in a line up front, but not one person was healed. They talked about Pentecost Fire and wind, but nothing happened in the service. The people were nice, prayed and cried, and screamed, but nothing happened. Ever. Is this stuff real, or not?
  6. You wrote this 1-1/2 years ago, and now in Feb. 2021 Jerusalem is still standing. Is your Pentecostal anointing not functioning well?
  7. Using personal sensitivities to decide what "seems fair" is not part of Godly Wisdom. Neither is it part of discerning God's Word. "There is a way which seemeth right into a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death." Wrath and death in the Seven Year Tribulation are death unto rebellious people, and are not Joyful Life from a Loving God for His People.
  8. "If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God." Peter in Epistle no. 1, 4:11. Jesus never shared little "anythings," and never chatted. Should we?
  9. I am curious. Tell us what you actually do in reality to be the ambassador of Christ, more than talking and explaining with words. More than expressing sentiment and citing Biblical Word.
  10. "I Think the Tire Popped, or Something!" "I Just Feel Like it Is Making a Funny Noise!" "Oh Wait! It's My PHONE!! Silly Meee!!" "Oh Shirley-y-y! It's Okay! Tell Mel I Don't Need Him Any More!!"
  11. At least the episcopalians are not presuming to prophesy. And I doubt they sport tacky salon hair. And rambling personal histories. Lol.
  12. On YouTube and in churches, they are backlit with moving stage lights, music playing, shouting into a sound system, being recorded, whipping the audience into response, waving their arms around, squinting their faces, imbuing God's name, enlarging every particular component of their speech with overstatement. Does the authentic Word of God need all of this sales pitching, or just plain utterance? Then nothing of their prophecy specifically occurs in the future having the significance they assigned to it, regardless of how many people believed God in faith for it. All of this speaks folly.
  13. Jesus did not speak in terms of what "seemed" to be. Why do you?
  14. Jesus' could not do much of anything in His home town because of unbelief. Jesus stated "Oh ye of little faith" when the Disciples could not heal In Mark 9. The "conclusion" above is false. Repent.
  15. No Scripture speaks of any Holy Spirit "mist hovering" in a meeting of Christians. No Scripture specifies visible Holy Spirit activity as a required sign of Salvation.
