Can you explain in detail why you keep calling me a young immature christian? How do you make this judgement of me and why? I agree that I am on fire but what does that have to do with being young or old. Should the fire go out when you get older in the Lord or, should it increase? I again what have I said that makes you think I am a young unexperianced christian? And what makes you think your so spiritually mature? Is this an age thing? Just because because your physically older does not make you more spiritually mature or more wise in the Lord? Thanks for the advise, but again why do you say i am: little, young and unexperianced. You dont even know me? Where have you gotten that idea that only the young are supposed to be on fire for God. I believe if you dont love the Lord with all your heart, soul, and strength today as you did in beginning then your backsliding. We should be growing in our love and passion (zeal) and faith for the Lord, not decreasing. I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. (Rev 3:15-19) Those who think and act like they are spiritually rich are the ones that think they have reached the plato of spirituality and have no need of nothing. They have seen it all, done it all, and have you can't tell me nothing attitude. They nolonger hunger and thirst for more of God and they can not be taught because they think they already know it all. They have lost the fire and the love and passion for God. But the bible says those that think this way are in reality poor, blind, and naked and most miserable. God bless and thanks for the advise.

Why do you think you have to be called into the "deliverence ministry" to cast out demons. Can you show me where in the bible it says you must be called into a special delivernace ministry to cast out demons or is this the authority of all believers? Mar 16:17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; You dont have to be called into a special ministry to cast out a demon. All you have to do is be a believer in the Lord Jesus unless you can show me otherwise with scripture. "These signs shall follow them that believe." Can you show me where I have judged or condemened someone or is this your little way of attacking people you dont agree with? Your the one that seems to be making hateful and judgemental remarks "you could get hit with a pie in the face" . "Seems as if your a bit hard of hearing" It seems as if you have judged me. Take out the log out of your own eye. And finally why dont you make your post a little bit more understandable and use grammer and puntuation like a grown up. Thanks,

If I misunderstood your post eariler, then I ask for your forgiveness. I agree that this subject should have been in the spirtiual warfare forum. Are you saying that you are never tempted or have any strongholds in your life? Are you saying that you never have to resist the devil or tempations? Even if you never deal with demonic forces in your own life you should be able to help deliver others that under demonic bondage. So aslong as you live here in this flesh you will deal with demonic forces. I think one of the greatest problems in the Church today is that we nolonger believe there is a Devil, Demons, therefore we do nothing about them but let them control us and others. The bible says God has given us authority over them but what good is this power over demons if we do nothing with it. When was the last time you cast out a demon? When was the last time you got victory over your besetting temptation? If by me talking about there being a real devil and demons scares people then it should. Maybe they should wake up and smell the coffee. Maybe if people relized that there is a real devil that is seeking to destory them then maybe they would be on their gaurd to resist him and take authority over him. Jason

Hi, I dont think he means weakness of the original written word but of the translations. I have found many weaknesses of translations of the bible, but that does not take away from fact that the bible is inspired by God. Many translations with a single omitted or mistranslated word destroy, confuse and/or weaken the whole context of a message and many translations are guilty of this even the KJV which some people hold in such high regard. This is why it is so important to study the word of God with diligence and carefulness. I have even noticed that some translations have omitted, added, mistranslated words in attempt to bend scripture to fit the translator's doctrine. I am speaking of protestant translators. Thanks, Jason

Can A Christian Be Demonically Possessed?
Jedi4Yahweh replied to jeremiah7's topic in Spiritual Warfare
Hi, I agree that a Christian can be oppressed and even have a demon in his/her flesh or mind but not in their spirit unless the Holy Spirit has departed. The flesh represents any part of you that has not been regenerated by God. Only our spirit has been regenerated. Our mind has not be born again, however we are to renew our mind oursleves with the word of God. Our bodies absolutely have not been born again, but this will happen in the resurrection. Amen So our flesh: (body/mind) can be oppressed and inhabited by demons. But I do not believe that our spirit which is inhabited by the Holy Spirit can not be possesed by demons. A Christian having a demon in the mind or body is called "Thorn in the Flesh". Read what paul said about christians having demons: To keep me from becoming conceited because of the exceptional nature of these revelations, a thorn was given to me and placed in my body. It was Satan's messenger to keep on tormenting me so that I would not become conceited. I pleaded with the Lord three times to take it away from me, but he has told me, "My grace is all you need, for my power is perfected in weakness." Therefore, I will most happily boast about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. (2Co 12:7-9) -
The book of enoch is an awsome book and used by many in the early church and is even quoted by Paul the apostle in the book of Jude. Yes I also believe that Azazel is Satan and is the Prince of Demons that led a great rebellion in heaven and also corrupted man kind by having sexual relations with women and also by teaching them things that was not intended for mankind. Many will tell you that Lucifer is the name of Satan but this is simply not true if you read it in context it was referring to Nebuchadnezzar and not Satan but many have assigned it to Satan. Even Jewish and Muslim religion teaches Azazel as the Prince of demons. The book of enoch fills in a lot of holes that I have always questioned about demons and fallin angels. If you do a word search on Azazel you will see how its directily related to Satanism and the occult. God bless brother,

Hi, Ok where do I start? First to those that I offended I ask for your forgiveness. I pray that this offense was for your good and not for your loss. The original post was intended to offend some but others it was simply a higher calling to live above the norm and to others it was a simple amen. Again my intentions were not so much to offend but to challenge, but sometimes the truth does hurt and offends but others see it as a wake up call. I guess I should have titled my topic "Most American christians are wimps" because it is really addressed toward western christianity. In alot of countries most christians are not wimps but are strong and live like Christ and are not ashamed of the gospel and they do not love thier lives unto death. For example my Christian brothers in China, North and South Korea, India, and many Muslim countries where believing in Jesus, being baptised or attending a prayer meeting is a simple death sentance muchless preaching the gospel. Yet these brothers and sisters proclaim the gospel with boldness and without shame. The "90 percent issue" may not be absolutely accurate but in America I would say, it is very close if not more. God has not called us to be ordinary people but to be extraordinary bold and powerful witnesses of the kingdom of God. God has called us to be to radicals/extremist of the kingdom of God. Demons should trimble when we show up. Your life should radiate with Christ everyday in character, word and in deeds. In the book of Acts the goverment officials told Christians that they were not allowed to preach in the name of Jesus, but they responded and said "Who should we obey man or God?" and they continued to preach with boldness about Jesus despite who it offended. When I first read the "Christian wimp" post I was not at all offended but convicted and challenged. I confessed to my friend that I had been a wimp in many areas in my life and that I want to change and be a bold witness for Christ no matter what the cost. I did not lash out and say how dare you judge me nor did I call him a immature christian that needs to grow up. If being a mature Christian means losing the fire of God and compromising the truth then I dont want to grow up. If preaching the gospel makes me look like a fool then Iam a fool for Christ. If preaching the gospel makes me look like a radical then I am a radical for Christ. As a mature Christian we should be growing in our love, passion, and boldness and not the opposite. Amen Well Good nite and God bless you all, Jason

Written by a Friend in Christ: I was wondering if you considered yourself a real threat to the Kingdom of Satan? Do demons know you by name like the bible says they knew Jesus and Paul? Are you a wimp at work? Does anyone know that Jesus is your lord at work, or have you bought into the conservative and passive lie of tolerance and diversity? Do you stay silent on what you know God's word to say about homosexuality when the topic comes up at work or school, because your afraid you'll be called a racist or accused of not following your companies diversity rules? Do you encourage group tolerance directed prayer gatherings in which "GOD" is acknowledged as being the same God of Islam, Christianity, Buddhism, etc? When you vote as a single person, do you vote with the party that supports the views associated with your ethnicity, your economy, or with the morality and heart of God the father? Are you really a true Christian, or do you just think your one because you were raised in a Christian church, family, or nation? I'm asking, as a Christian, I think alot of you that claim to be my brothers and sisters in Christ are compromising and not standing up against injustice, and are voting based on your culture, ethnicity, or tainted moral views that are not biblical. Yep, I know this is harsh and even radical by "Christian" standards. Have you ever voted in favor of the murdering of babies who God said in the bible that he knew us while we were still mending in the womb? Have you ever voted in favor of laws for domestic partnerships (homosexuality)? Have you ever wondered why homosexual domestic partners should have the rights of a man and wife, or why domestic homosexual partners should have more rights that a man and woman who have a child while simply living together while not being married? How come 90% of you my brothers and sisters are afraid of being known as a Christian at work, and being a wimp who is afraid of having to defend themself! How can you be a light in this world if your light is covered with a bowl in the one place that you have the greatest opportunity to reach the largest amount of people? Did you know there are people at your job who are hurting and would commit suicide because you were afraid to be a light on your campus or in your workplace? You don't have to be radical to be a light, just a friend with Godly and wise council, but it does no good if no one knows where your wisdom and council comes from. As singles we have the ability to make a difference for Christ? Both in the laws of this nation and in bring light and exposing darkness in the biggest harvest fields of the world. Your Job. You don't have to be afraid at work. You already know people, they already have an opinion of you good or bad, many trust you and would be open to hearing about Christ. So please write me with your opposing views. Do you think I am a radical? Do you admit that you are a Christian wimp? Are you one of those people who say, "Let's go witnessing" and then never do it because your afraid? Do you think I am a racist to promote the rejection of your ethnicity at the voting polls, in order to vote for the candidate who has at least promised to do things that are either in line with biblical scripture, or at least not against it? How come there has never been a Christian version of "Rock the Vote"?

Hey that was my quote. lol Glad you used it because it also challenged and convicted me as I reread it. God bless you all, Jason

In In its true since they do mean the same thing, but today they are used differantly. The word "Christian" refers to anyone that is a follower and believer of Yahshua the Messiah. The word "Messianic" is used today to mean a Jewish person that is a follower and believer of Yahsuah as Messiah. The word Messianic means: relating to the messiah. So we as Christains are messianic and a Jewish believer is also a Christian. The word Chirst in Christian means Messiah. So they are interchangable. There is no differance between a Jewish believer and a Gentile believer. They are both Christian and Messianic. Thanks,

Awsome quote sister!!! Its the grace of God that gives us the power to live such a life in Christ. Amen

Good night bro....

Not really they actually mean the same thing. I like your pervious definition of Grace and Mercy: Mercy is not getting what you deserve and Grace is getting what you dont deserve. Not sure if this is entirely acurate but it sure sounds good and I can identify. Thanks,
-
With that said, I dont think God is going around with a big magic wand and randomly selecting people to give grace too. God is looking for those that our of seeking him and have humbled themselves in the sight of the Lord in a repentive manner. These are the people God is giving grace too.

hmmm..... Well the word unmerited means unworthy of so merited would me worhty of. I dont think anyone one of use humble or proud will ever by worthy of God's grace. This is why I say Yes and No. But according to scripture God resist those that are prideful but gives grace to those that are humble. Therefore if we want Gods grace we must humble ourselves and submit ourselves in the sight of the lord. Therefore becoming somewhat worhty of Gods grace. Thanks,
-
Yes and No But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up. (Jam 4:6-10) God Gives Grace to those whom humble themselves and submit to God. God does not give grace unfairly.

Hi, Grace of God is a very broad term for the explaining the the undeserving kindness of God, such as God's: mercy, forgiveness, blessing, favor, healing, deliverance, protection, strenght, etc... Grace incorporates a lot of things. Any good thing that you receive of God is part of Gods Grace. All of Gods Grace is free but must be accessed by faith. Through Him we also have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice on the hope of the glory of God. (Rom 5:2) For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. (Joh 1:17) The Differance between OT Law and the NT Grace is: In the Old Testement, man was trying to be justified by following the laws of moses: cerimonies, rituals, sacrifices keeping of certain holy days etc... In the New Testement, man is justified by faith in Christ and God is now working in us to Fullfill the royal commandments of God: 1) Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. 2) You shall love your neighbor as yourself. Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD: But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. (Jer 31:31-34) There are alot of people that do not understand the grace of God. They see the grace of God as an excuse to live a sinful and rebellious life thinking that God understands. They think they do not have to obey God. This is not the grace of God! The bible says that God has written his laws on our hearts so that we will live by them not disobey them. The bible also says that the grace of God teaches us to live right before God. For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; (Tit 2:11-12) Thanks, Jason

To understand God we should look at oursleves because we are made in the likeness and image of God according to scripture. Just as a Son is made in the image of his father. The bible says we are three part being just as God is three but yet one: 1. Spirit (Part that interacts and fellowships with God) 2. Soul (Mind, Intellect) 3. Body (Flesh) There are three parts of me but yet they make up only one me. Those three have their purpose allowing us operate in differant realms. 1) Spirit (Spirit Realm) 2) Soul (Mental Realm) 3) Body (Physical Realm) Your body or Soul does not operate on a spiritual realm and vise versa for the others. The bible also says the God has a Spirit, Soul, and Body: Mat 12:18 Behold my servant, whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my spirit upon him, and he shall shew judgment to the Gentiles. 1.)Spirit (Holy Spirit) 2) Soul (Father) 3) Body (Messiah/Son) God in the flesh All three of them make up one God. God has one Spirit, one Soul, and one Body. God does not have 3 persons or 3 souls or 3 bodys or 3 spirits. The bible says the Fullness of the God dwells in Jesus. Meaning: All three parts of God are in Jesus. Just as our Spirt and Soul lives in our Body. The doctrine that God is three persons is a doctrine of men made up by the RCC and is no where in the bible. Man is a Spirit with a Soul that has a Body this makes me one whole human being. God is a Spirit with a Soul that has a Body this makes God one whole God. We are created in the likeness and image of God. Thanks,

Endure that was awesome and well researched. I keep hearing OSAS people use this scripture when talking with them: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. (Joh 10:28) Even that scripture is conditional if you read it in context with the previous verse: My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. (Joh 10:27-28) Jesus said my sheep are the ones that listen to me and obey me. The word follow can be substituted with the word obey. God's promise of eternal life and security is conditionally based upon those that listen and follow his word. All of God's Promises are conditional. The word covenant means legal binding contract between two parties. This contract or convent has legal obligations between both parties to fulfill. If one side later decides not to fulfill their obligations then the covenant is nullified. Meaning if one side breaks their promise of obligation to the contract then the other party is not required to fulfill their part either. We are saved under a New Covenant between God and Man. God has his obligations and Man has his obligations.

Hi, The best way I can explain the "trinity" is like what LadyC explained. We are created in the image and likeness of God. 1)Spirit 2)Soul 3)Body And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. (1Th 5:23) We are trinity within our own self because we are created like God. I am made up of three distinct parts but yet there is only one me. Its the same with God. God is made up of three distinct parts but yet is one God. The bible says that God has a Spirit, Soul and Body. Mat 12:18 Behold my servant, whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my spirit upon him, and he shall shew judgment to the Gentiles. 1) Spirit (Holy Spirit) 2) Soul (Father) 3) Body (Jesus) There are three important elements of God but yet those three make up only one God. Just as our spirit, soul and body make us one whole human. I dont believe God is three persons in one body. Just as I dont believe there are three persons living in my body but one. What do you call a person with multi-personalities: Crazy right! God is one person just as we are one person in one body. God has one Spirit, one Soul, and one body.
