Heh - It would be much more than a mere "few" billion years for this to happen if it is so. The end of Revelation mentions "a new heaven and a new Earth." You can take that to mean what you will. As per what will happen after these mega billion years: - As a scientist I am curious as to what the experts do with this question and find it fun to keep tabs of. - As a Christian, I'm not too worried about it, as I believe the Lord has it all figured out what He intends to do with it, and since it is sooooo far away the end result is not going to kill me right now (ha! ha! - poor pun intended). *Unless of course you have access to an improbability drive and can get us to the Resaurant at the end of the universe to see its fate for ourselves. :oww: I think neither. If you read Revelations, it is clear that we will be here on earth after the tribulation; and the new reigning of Christ. So it is neither open or closed. Just think when we return here of all the neat things that will be going on. Animals will all be getting along; no fighting; sounds like heaven to me

ALL TESTS SHOWED POSSIBILITY FOR MORE TUMORS, AFTER ONE WAS ALREADY TAKEN OUT IN DECEMBER I HAD A DEBULKING AND EXPLORATORY; THE DOC TOLD MY MOM AND SON THAT HE FELT GOOD THAT HE GOT IT ALL WELL JESUS HAD ANOTHER PLAN; ALL THE 'TUMORS' THAT LOOKED; ACTED; AND SMELLED LIKE CANCER WAS BENIGN!! THE ONLY CANCER THEY COULD FIND WAS REMOVED DURING THE 1ST SURGERY MUCH TO THEIR SURPRISE NOW WHEN I GO FOR MY 3 MONTH CHECK UPS, I REMIND THEM THAT IT WILL NOT BE BACK!!! AT FIRST THEY LAUGHED; NOW THEY TELL ME AND ALL THEIR INTERNS THAT MY'ATTITUDE IS GOOD. THEREFORE, MY CHANCE OF GETTING CANCER AGAIN IS SLIM. I SAY NOT!!! I am a Floridian!!!! AND you are so right on Suzanne!!!! I just left a church of 5,000! Where does it say that Paul had people sign memberships in their churches. We are the body; and no building is going to make us better christians than just reading HIS word and telling it to the world

I have recently experienced being shunned by my church body. I disagree with the teaching that when someone receives the baptism of the Holy Spirit they automatically speak in tongues This has been hard on me. The church was very supportive during my illness I was in leadership, Leader in Singles Ministry, and facilitated a biblical based support group for anxiety and depression. I, needless to say, am hurting. I, also disagree with women pastor's having headship over men. This church body houses more than 5000 members. I was pretty far up there and wow you come to realize how your status become who you are. Humbling experience!!!! Oh Well, Jesus is in control of my life; and He alone can fill those voids

This is an oxymoran to me; God is Good; HE alone made GOOD and EVIL and how can you be good without HIM????? :lightbulb:
