I was looking around the net and found an official site for this movie. You can watch the trailer for it also, so I thought that I would put the link up for those that are interested. I watched the trailer myself and it looks an interesting film. http://www.endofthespear.com/

Thanks guys. I had never really thought about it much before until I saw DaughterofKing's post in the doctrinal section and it got me to thinking about it (not being able to go out to church and having fellowship). Though I wish that I could.

I saw a post in the Doctrinal section by DaughterofKing and it made me curious. Her question was asking where it says in the Bible that we must go to Church, and where it says that we should fellowship. Those questions made me curious about myself. As some of you here maybe have read, I have severe anxiety and have very bad panic attacks. I have it so bad that I am basically housebound. With me and the condition that I have, where then do I stand when the Bible talks about going to Church, and where do I stand where it says about having fellowship?

This question is aimed at the people that do believe in the rapture of the Church. I believe that is what I put in the heading for this topic. If it says that this question is aimed at those that believe in the rapture then why did you come into the topic just to say that you do not believe in the rapture? You are completely entitled to your opinion, and I respect that. I just don't understand why somebody would come into a topic that is aimed at people that believe in the rapture, just to say that they don't believe in it. I don't mean any offence by that, I am just saying that I don't understand your logic.

That pretty much sounds like the times we are living in now. Rustyangel, I have wondered that also about the Holy Spirit. It is one of the reaons that I asked the original question. If the Holy Spirit leaves when the Church is raptured then the ones that are left behind will not be saved because they will have nothing here to convict them of there wrong doings. No Holy Spirit, no conviction. But when the Church is raptured and if the Holy Spirit stays, then there will be a chance for those who did not believe and were left behind to be saved. Would I be right in saying these things?
-
When the rapture of the Church happens, will those that are left behind still have a chance at being saved, as long as they don't take the mark? Also, will the Holy Spirit remain behind after the rapture, or will the Holy Spirit leave at the time of the rapture?

Sounds interesting. I'll have to keep an eye out for it when it is released.

I know of somebody who actually agree's with stores removing Christmas in favour of "Happy Holidays". He says that by stores doing that it will make Christmas ours (Christian Holy Day) again, instead of it belonging to secularists.

Cannen, I passed the info on to some online Christian friends and gave them the link and they have signed it. I hope that you don't mind me doing that, but I think the more signatures for this, the better.

I have also signed it.

Who do you see when you picture Jesus?

I thought that it was the only Nazarites that wore their hair long, or am I wrong? -
Who do you see when you picture Jesus?

I guess that with all of the movies, paintings and statues that there are that most people can't help but picture Jesus as a long haired person. When it ever gets brought up I can't help but think about what Jesus inspired Paul to write in 1 Corinthians 11:14: Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him? -
Thanks to everybody that has replied, for your prayers and words of encouragement. Internalflame, you made some really good points. It could one of those reasons that you mentioned, but if it is, I don

That is cool. Thanks for sharing that.

Thanks Bloodbought. With what you said and with what Dr Luke said on the topic that he posted I believe that I have found the answers that I was looking for.

Thanks Dr Luke. With what you posted and what Bloodbought posted, I think that I got the answers that I was looking for.

Did you see my post "Is He listening to me", and then post this Dr Luke? It just seems a little strange that you should post this just a little after I posted my topic and then Bloodbought followed up my topic with telling me to read Psalm 13. I think that my question may have been answered.

I was in the seekers area and read a topic called "God hears and answers prayers, What if the answer is "no"? and it got me to thinking. To be honest this is something that has been on my mind for a little while now. If you haven't read my predicament then please go here: http://www.worthyboards.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=26247 It has now been a little over seven and a half months and I am still no further on and no better off. I pray every single day about this matter and for to be delivered from this, or to be even strong enough to conquer this and nothing has changed. Numerous people have even told me that they are praying for me, and nothing has changed. Is God telling me that His answer is "No". Sometimes it has even crossed my mind that maybe He isn't listening to me. People say that God has plans for each of us. With what I have been going through, that has really lost me because I just don't understand what His plan for me could be if I am to be locked away from the world and not even able to go anywhere to do anything. Not even to church. All of these things going on in my head has me confused. Is God listening to me when I pray for this to be taken from me? If He is listening, then why am I still here seven months later? If God has a plan for me then I don't see it. How can I accomplish any plan if I am almost unable to go out past my front gate? I just don't understand.

It isn't working for me. Shake is the 46th word into Pslam 46 but the 46th word from the end is not spear. Spear is the 47th word. spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire. 10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. 11 The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

It seems so far, that everybody agree's with my side of the debate. I guess that has made me a little curious as to what people would have to say about another thing that we have talked about numerous times. Another thing that we have debated on at times is sex within marriage. I believe that it is perfectly ok to have sex (make love) with your partner within marriage, but my friend believes that you should have sex within marriage only for to procreate. Im curious as to your opinions on this but I would still like to hear others opinions on the lust debate. Thanks for taking the time to reply to this.

A friend and I have been recently debating regarding lust and what it is exactly and I was wondering if you would give me your opinions on what exactly lust is and who is right. But I will first give you guys an idea to both sides of our debate. One of us is saying that it is wrong to look at a woman and think to yourself that you think that she is attractive because looking at the woman and finding her attractive is lust. Also, the woman may possibly be married and finding her attractive to look at is lust and also adultery. The other is saying that it is ok to look at a woman and think to himself or even say that he thinks that the woman is attractive. It is the thinking about her (or fantasizing) about her in your mind is when it becomes lust.

There are cases of cremation in the Bible, also embalming as well. In Numbers 16:35 we see that the Lord sent fire to "consume the 250 men who burned incense". 1 Samual 31:11-13 tells how the valiant men retrieved the bodies of Saul and his 3 sons, burned them with fire, and buried them beneath the oak at Jabesh, then mourned and fasted for 7 days. Genesis 50:1-2 tells of the death of Jacob, Joseph's grief, and then he ordered Jacob's body to be embalmed. However, later on, in the laws given to Moses from God, the Jews are warned against touching the body of a dead person, so this would, in affect, outlaw embalming since the process requires prolonged contact with the corpse. Thanks for pointing those out.

Toally agree. A big thank you also to the veterans of the United Kingdom.

I still hold strong to almost all of my beliefs though I still respect the beliefs of others here and the beliefs, ideas and opinions that they have shared. The only thing that my mind has really swayed on is the idea of Christmas trees. I used to see them as pagan and wrong but after the discussion on it a little while back I class myself now as undecided on them.
