I cannot tell you why some things happen the way they do. I don't know myself, but I do know that the scripture is the word of God and that Jesus is LORD. I have considered that America was under judgement, and it may well be, but from what I have read natural disasters have devastated churchs even in poor countries, such as India. Here is what I know. The woman was surprised to see Samuel because she was a fake, just like all witches are fake.
