  1. Sadly no. A few months ago in England we had an 18 year old girl "auctioning" her virginity on ebay in order to pay student debts and sadly ebay never cancelled it and the "transaction" went through. As prostitution is illegal in the UK this should be against the law. :c: :suspect:
  2. From what I hear the killing of unborn babies plays a large part in it. How can any Christian support a man who supports partial birth abortion and who went out of his way to oppose the "Unborn Victims of Violence" bill that would make it a double crime to harm a pregnant woman?
  3. Once again the antiAmerican media showed it's hypocrisy by criticising the US military for bombing a mosque yet not saying a word against the terrorists who were using it for their own despicable actions!

    Bush's Faith

Thanks for your kind words, WIP. However it is easier said than done. It's hurtful to be attacked by anyone but being attacked by a brother/sister is even more hurtful. I wish people would think before they post messages likely to hurt people. :blues:

    Bush's Faith

I FIND YOUR LAST SENTENCE EXTREMELY OFFENSIVE!!! I would NEVER condone what happened in Abu Ghraib. There can be no excuse for that sort of behaviour. All I was saying is the media blew it up out of all proportion. I also very much doubt if they care 2 pins about the plight of these POWs - just about attacking Pres Bush. Why did they not give the same publicity to the mass graves that were found in Iraq some of them containing the bodies of children I may add! Perhaps you can also point out the part of my statement where I accused YOU personally of vilifying US troops. The point I was trying to make is that the same people who wring their hands over the deaths of US soldiers are the same people who wanted to blame the entire US millitary for the Abu Ghraib scandal. In my book that is hypocrisy!!! You have hurt me very much by implying that I condoned the Iraqi POW abuse and I think I deserve an apology.
  6. While I'm not suggesting that everyone connected with the UN is evil. No doubt many of them sincerely believe they are helping mankind I have no time for the UN as an organisation. It is full of secular humanists and New Agers and is working for a one-world Government and one-world religion. Plus it promotes evil agendas such as homosexuality and abortion worldwide. On top of that it is anti Israel.

    Torture

I'd be very wary of believing what you hear in the media, 2bba. As ted says it's obvious the media has an agenda here. They are out to destroy Pres Bush and they don't care how they do it. The media in the UK is no better and ironically the more conservative papers like the "Daily Mail" are no better than the liberal ones like the "Guardian". While the Bible does sometimes condone war and killing I don't think it would justify torture. I know that sometimes you have to be tough with people when you need information but actual torture is wrong.
  8. Of course the media doesn't consider soldiers like this guy newsworthy. However if he'd abused a few POWs or killed a few civilians he'd be a household name now. (heavy sarcasm!)
  9. What really ticks me off is the way the media is going out of its way to vilify the soldiers (especially the US military) out there. If you believe much of the media in the UK where I live you'll come away with the idea that all Allied soldiers are sadistic thugs who get their kicks out of torturing and killing Iraqi POWs and civilians even children. Yes, there have been cases of brutality on the part of both US and UK soldiers but I think it's totally unfair to give all the military a collective black eye just because of a few rotten apples. That sort of thing must be damaging to the morale of the soldiers out there as well as giving encouragment to the terrorists. IMHO while opposing the war isn't treason such vilifying of our troops is uncomfortably close to treason. I'm not saying we should turn a blind eye to cases of abuse but we need to keep them in perspective. I'm not in the military neither do I have anyone close to me in it but this sort of thing really annoys me.

    Bush's Faith

Isn't it peculiar that the same liberals that attack US soldiers as sadistic thugs and baby killers suddenly start wringing their hands when one of these soldiers is killed. But then a dead soldier is a useful stick to beat Pres Bush with. Too bad the liberals and the media don't show the same appreciation to the soldiers when they are alive as they do when they die!

    Child Murder

Someone on this board said the mother probably has post-natal depression. While that may be the case and if it is I hope she gets the necessary help. OTOH, she may just be evil.
  12. This is just evil!!! I'm not American but if I didn't know better I'd say the founders of the US constitution must be turning somersaults in their graves knowing that the great constitution which they devised to protect the rights of the innocent is being used to deprive them of their rights. It seems if a liberal doesn't like a law all he/she has to do is scream "unconstitutional"! The judges talk about placing "an unfair burden on a woman's right to choose" well what about the unfair burden the vile practise of pb abortion (and abortion in general) places on a child's right to life!!! These people must have hearts of stone if they can condone such barbarity. The US now has a Christian President but his hands are tied because most of the judiciary are servants of the Devil!!! :upsided: :!!!:

    Child Murder

St Paul said in the Last Days people would be "without natural affection" and incidents like this are the perfect example of the fulfillment of this prophecy. Also I believe society's acceptance of the killing of children before birth through abortion has cheapened the life of children after birth and made it easier for mothers to do this. After all this "mother" would have been able to kill her child before birth - no questions asked.
  14. If the media isn't liberal then why do surveys show that most journalists support homosexuality, abortion and other trendy causes? However it would be unfair to say that antiBush, antiAmericanism is confined solely to the Left. In the UK right wing newspapers like the "Daily Mail" are also banging on incessantly about the POW abuse and seem intent on conducting what can only be described as a hate campaign against President Bush and the US military. The Daily Mail used to be a good paper but has recently degenerated into something fit to be used only as toilet paper! :oww:
  15. Expect the media to start spinning like a top if they are the genuine article!
  16. Too true. David Icke is a total New Ager so that alone would make me take what he says with a pinch of salt! :suspect: :wac:
  17. IMHO, those idiots who blame everything on an "international Zionist conspiracy" must take some of the blame for the death of this lady and her children both born and unborn!!!

    Prisoner abuse

You have a point, yod. The same media who gave (and continues to give) front line headlines to the POW abuse only gave a paragraph to this. No doubt if it had been a pregnant Arab lady who was shot by Israeli soldiers it would have been front page headlines.
  19. this "zionist conspiracy" crap is satanic. It will be our ruin if we let this snake grow.... I totally agree, Yod and it never ceases to amaze me the number of Christians who buy this lie which comes straight from the pit of Hell itself. The Nazis also talked about an "international Jewish conspiracy". We all know where that led!!!

    Prisoner abuse

So do I (and I've made that perfectly clear in my previous post) and I would hope everyone on this board would. However the point I am making is the media is using this for its own ends. As I've said I seriously doubt the media feels much for these POWs. They're just using them for their own ends. :suspect: :!!!:

    Prisoner abuse

First of all let me say I was disgusted by the antics of those "soldiers" abusing POWs. Even if they were terrorists there was no excuse for such behaviour. The fact that some of the abusive soldiers were women, IMHO, makes it even worse. However I am equally as sickened by the way the media is using these atrocities for propaganda purposes in order to vilify all Allied soldiers (especially US ones) and to discredit President Bush. I'm not saying these atrocities shouldn't have been reported but the media has turned it into a witch-hunt. I mean is it really necessary to keep showing photos of humiliated, naked prisoners? Surely by plastering these photos all over the papers and TV worldwide these POWs are being humiliated all over again! The media don't give 2 hoots about the Iraqi POWs only in using them for propaganda purposes. :suspect:
