I think different denominations are ok. I have moved many many times in the military and I see silly splits from 'what type of music' to 'how often to have Lord's supper.' I am grateful for the different churches and have attended many strange ones ( KJV ONLY pops in my mind) so intead of dogging all the different kinds of denoms I just go and look for the one where Jesus is preached the most often and has the programs I enjoy for my family ( awana, VBS, ladies precepts) and get what I need from God's many different takes on His most valuable word. Just get fed where the good food is and you will be OK.

How we handle our lives and lives of our children are what will the Lord will reward us on. He died for each of those little babies and their parents. For my and my house I will choose the Lord.

I object to Priests. I do not like that they stand between me and the Saviour when Jesus Himself tells me to come to Him ( directly). I object to calling them 'father' when that word is supposed to be used for God only. I object to praying to anyone other than the Lord and Jesus. I object to putting emphasis on ritual rather than relationship. Many christian cultures and denominations do these things. All you need is Jesus and His word. Forgive me if I have offended you while you read this. Please look and see why your faith chooses to do the things I mentioned above. Thank you.

There were many unbelievers when Jesus was alive on earth, why would a 1000 years with Him be any different than the 33 years they had with Him? There will always be sin in the flesh and a lust for thier own will. Only those who accept Jesus free gift of salvation can enter the kingdom, even if they lived and worshipped Jesus as God. Same old sin, same way to heaven.

I am trained in 3 kinds of martial arts. Soem do focus time or meditation but I spend that time with Jesus instead of "focusing" on my technique. Its all about heart attitude, and what you put as a priority. In 13 years I have never had the need to use it. Butits there if I do. thank you jesus for showing me what is important. My hubby is US navy, you can bet he will use deadly force to protect you and your rights to peaceably assemble and worship and all the others in the constitution.

I cant offer much except my own testimony. My life without Christ was a mess. I didn't care about anyone, not even myself. My home life was a joke my friends weren't really friends and I had no peace in my heart. Since I said Yes to Jesus' free gift of salvation my life has meaning. I have people that care about me in my life, none of which were my own family. The firends and home life I have now give me peace and i have problems like everyone else does, but my comfort comes from the Lord and He fills my heart. I matter to Him and so do you. Lay your suffering at His feet and come home. Welcome Home, In Jesus name!

Long deep breathes, play your favorite praise and worship music, go to God in prayer and rememeber he already said yes so there wotnbe any surprises, everything else will fall into place. Congratulations !!! I love marraige. May you be blessed as the Lord can give

I am following you, but I did not see which leader you were unsure of or which teaching you felt was incorrect. Perhaps if you were a little bit more specific I could comment and use scripture to back up my thoughts. Thanks for posting and welcome to worthy!!!

I am from maine myself and learned al about toxic relationships from my own family...sad but true. Thank you for explaining the In and Outs of healty relationships. Took me ten years to figure it out on my own. Good rule of thumb, if they don't profess to be a chirtian, do not let them into your inner circle or go to them for advice. Seek no ungodly counsel.

Be transparent. Show her how far you are willing to go to earn her trust back. Pray continually and do right by the kids, even she becomes hateful. She has every right to be upset with you. But in time and as trust is earned she may return. Ask if you can add her to your counseling cessions, or both go alone. But get help and do not give up. Dont forget to actually ask for forgiveness and say that you are sorry. God be with your whole family.

If the laws dont work, then ban guns altogether. If Our nation bans guns then there wont be anyone around to keep the givernment from going cuckoo. Gun are good when used appropriately. the criminals are the ones who need the control. Not law abiding citizens.
