  1. http://www.christianpost.com/article/20071...ay_Campaign.htm This article made me kind of angry. People get mad when Christians force their beliefs on people, but when other's do it to Christians, it's okay?
  2. My word...that's really sad. rather strange...but really sad.
  3. wait a minute...BANGLADESH?!?!?
  4. Lord, please bless Sonny for his faithfulness and God we pray for rain in Georgia! Please speak to the hearts of the protesters in Atlanta Lord!
  5. That's the fox news station where I live.... I used to live near that church.... oh Charlotte... But I don't like that article. I don't have enough info to make an opinion. Was the church welcoming gays or not speaking Gospel truth? Where they saying "Come to Jesus as you are and you can stay that way..." or not? edit:// HA! I found a slightly better article. It's very bias (you can tell in the first paragraph), but it still has a little more info. http://www.charlotte.com/112/story/360801.html
  6. I'm not sure where to post this...But this is AMAZING!!! If you haven't watched it yet, watch it! It's a skit from a Baltimore Missions place. http://www.godtube.com/view_video.php?view...63418003b47d7d5
  7. I'm gonna be district specific, cause I know this district. If I was on the Charlotte-Mecklenburg board, I'd invite YoungLife to every high school and middle school. That's be the first thing I'd do. I'd make the gospel available to every lukewarm Christian, wiccan, atheist, muslim, jewish, satanic teen. I'd get rid of "homosexual education" (i don't think C-Meck has it, but whatever) and I'd make health teachers talk about abstinence. I'd have a bible elective class in every high school and I'd make sure Creative Writing teachers and courses are properly funded. I'd make sure every teacher is trained how to motivate their students beyond their potential. I'd raise money for the low-income schools. Every school needs plenty of text books, clean facilities, and up-to-date computers. There's no reason why one school has nothing but the school right down the street has EVERYTHING. I'd make sure every student can read Dr. Suess by first grade and that every student has the opportunity to play an instrument in the fifth grade. I'd crack down on bullying, racism, and violence. I'd research methods to make schools safer. Then I'd make sure to communicate with homeschoolers so that parents have everything they need and so that they can participate in activities with public school kids if they so choose (such as theater, clubs, chorus, orchestra, band, etc.). That breaks barriers, educates public school kids on homeschool kids, and gives evangelical homeschoolers and opportunity to witness to their peers. But before all of that, I'd give teachers a raise. With all the crap they deal with, they shouldn't have to get a second job.
  8. Jesus! Please save us from ourselves. We are vile, ignorant, and in COMPLETE rebellion against you. Have mercy on us and have mercy on the lawmakers who claim to know you but continue to support and encourage sin in our nation. Jesus I plead your blood over our nation; I pray for a spirit of repentance to spread across our nation from North Carolina to Alaska. God, make it spread like wild fire, melting hearts of stone into hearts of flesh. In the mighty name of Jesus, I rebuke the evil one; I cry out, "LET GO OF MY GENERATION!" Jesus, I rebuke the spirit of pornography, depression, abortion, pre-marital sex, drug abuse, alcohol abuse, divorce, and disobedience. Set free my generation, let praises for you come from the mouths and hearts of my college and high school peers! Thank you for the blessings you have given us and grants us humilty to see how truly blessed we are! In Jesus Name, AMEN (love savannah)
  9. Natural Born citizens don't even do that. Patriotic people spill hot coffee and they sue McDonalds.
