  1. It's not even been 4 whole months since the man took over. lol People and their right here right now we want immediate change Took Bush 8 yr. to screw us up to the point we are in today I don't think it's to much to ask more than 4 months to turn it around. And Obama even stated before he was elected that it wasn't something that was going to be accomplished within just 1 term in office.

    Heaven?

When Christ comes back he will set up his kingdom on the Physical earth and it will be transformed back to the way it was before evil destroyed it.
  3. The bible doesn't state that we have to tithe on a weekly basis for some it's easier to do it on a monthly or one big contribution at the end of the year. So perhaps you can do something along those lines where you keep track of what you usually tithe when you have a regular job with money coming in and when you get another job just make up the difference at that time. As for the freelance job not paying minimum wage money is money my friend. I'd rather make $4 or $5 an hour than $0 an hour ya know? And like others have said who knows what doors it might open for you down the road. Maybe it's a test from God to see just how serious you are about wanting work.
  4. $819 billion is not almost $900 billion that's a huge amount of money difference.
  5. ..."fire and brimstone coming down from the sky, rivers and seas boiling, forty years of darkness, earthquakes, volcanoes, the dead rising from the grave, human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together...mass hysteria!" 25."Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? 26.Look at the birds of the air; they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? 27.And can any of you by worrying add a single hour to your span of life? 28.And why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they neither toil nor spin, 29.yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not clothed like one of these. 30.But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you?you of little faith? 31.Therefore do not worry, saying, "What will we eat?' or "What will we drink?' or "What will we wear?' 32.For it is the Gentiles who strive for all these things; and indeed your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33.But strive first for the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34."So do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring worries of its own. Today's trouble is enough for today." AMEN !!!! :emot-hug: :emot-hug:
  6. He did say that. Matthew 24 37 But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. 38 For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, 39 and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. Aahhh....But, those who were caught unaware were those who were not chosen by GOD to be saved and were not the ones given the warning and the signs. We have warning signs. HUMMMM??? That is a good point though. Matthew 24: 36-44 " No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left. Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come. But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into. So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him. " The signs are for us to recognize that the time is growing near no where in the bible does it state that one of these signs will mark the exact day or hour of his return.
  7. My bet is it turns out to be just another ordinary day like with Y2K and all the other thousands of days that the end was supposed to come. I'm almost willing to bet that on Dec. 12, 1912 ( 12-12-12 )some fruitcake declared the world would end. The bible clearly states that the day and hour is known to nobody but God himself not even Jesus his own son will know until God tells him go get your children and bring them home. So it's futile to try and guess when it will happen. Instead the bible tells us this... " Be joyful always;pray continually;give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. Do not put out the Spirit's fire;do not treat prophecies with contempt. Test everything. Hold on to the good. Avoid every kind of evil. May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. " In other words don't concern yourselves with trying to be the one to figure out the day and hour but concern yourselves with living your lives for god in the best way possible and when that day and hour does come there will be nothing worry about because you won't be here to see it. There have been natural events like eclipses, aligning of planets, ect... since the creation of the universe so there is no reason to think that the next time it happens or any specific time that it happens will be the time when it all goes down.
  8. Interesting My crazy christian self in some way wants to believe that it's the opening of Heaven's Gates in preparation of the return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. lol
  9. Just curious For a little background info " The Ramp " is kinda like a retreat type deal for teenagers and young adults based out of Hamilton, Alabama. God TV airs it every now and then and this weekend happens to be one of those times. The show airs for 3 hr. Usually from what I can tell 1 hr. of worship followed by 1 hr. of actual teaching followed by another 1 hr. of Worship to close out the event. I have a pretty good idea what the response will be but I just wanted to ask and see.
  10. "they" say the last time this blew was about 700,000 years ago. Can you find anyone who lived to tell what happened? No but scientists have put together models of what the continents used to look like that far back and as far as I know they never reported huge chunks suddenly dissapearing.
  11. I believe they've determined that this particular Volcanoe has gone off at least twice before so why wouldn't it have left the whole western U.S. as one big hole the past 2 times ?? I think people tend to over dramatize events like these to be honest. Will it be bad?? Yeah most earthquake and natural disasters are Will the whole western half of the U.S. fall in the ocean and cease to exist?? Probably Not
  12. * Note To Any Potential Evacuees Thinking Of Heading To Georgia* Please be advised we are still over booked from Katrina there is no room at the inn please proceed to SC or NC. Thanks you this has been a public service announcement...... Beep !!!
  13. I'll be honest a few retail bankruptcies might not be such a bad thing I'd rather that happen and it make the ones left that much stronger than have them all going to congress for their share of the bailout money. But things won't turn around until retailers figure out that the way things have worked for the last 15-20 yr. just isn't going to cut it anymore and they are going to need to reinvent themselves if you will. I'm sorry but people just aren't willing to pay $50-$60 for one shirt or one pair of pants anymore regardless what name is sown on the label . The retailers reaped the benefits all those years and the consumers were stupid enough to let them but now the consumer is becoming savvy again looking for the best deal and not necessarily at name brands. This year I spent $100 on clothes and all I ended up with was 2 pr. jeans, 1 pr. of cheap Walmart work boots, and some undershirts and underwear and that was at these so called bargin prices. Maybe I'm just a penny pincher but In my mind that shouldn't have cost me but about half of that maybe just a little more than half.
