I remember as a teenager my father used to gripe at me over what I wore to church and I'd always reply "God wouldnt care if I showed up in my birthday suit, as long as I showed up" LOL...I still believe that. Its not what's on the outside that matters but what's on the inside.

well in my church we have an alter where you can go and kneel during the services if you feel lead by God to pray or commit your life to him. It is a public display of sorts.

I have two tattoos that I got when I was younger. They arent christian ( I have a black widow spider and a pair of marachino cherries) but I dont regret getting them. To me they represent a part of my life where I was struggling with God but he never left me. I would like to get a christian based one, a set of molecules with Psalm 139:14 written under them.

I was baptised as a baby as well in the United Church of Canada. In my church (Salvation Army) it isnt so much as a baptism but as a dedication.. the parents promise to dedicate raising the child in the way of God.

well I was Christened United Church of Canada as an infant but rededicated in The Salvation Army when I was 7 and I'm still there.
