I agree I remember before I was a christian if I was in church for any reason I would be looking at my watch thinking is it not time to go yet. My feelings all changed once I became a christian I feel at home in church, love to be in fellowship with others of a like mind. Enjoy the praise and worship and prayer times. I do think that you have to be careful not to get bogged down thinking that you have to be at every meeting that is going on. Pray and ask God where he wants you to be and when. Then you will have peace if you are being obedient to God. Carol R

Makes you wonder what fun and fresh air kids can get now. My son and his pals frequently played with chalks we just washed it away at the end of the day if it didn't rain. At least the kids weren't harrassing anyone. The neighbours should have been happy. Carol R

Can you tell me more of this...as it is the first I have heard of it and dont even know what its about. From what I can understand it will affect even school children, by way of sex education schools having to teach about same sex relationships, books held in schools, our kids need protecting not being lied too. You can get lots of info on the Christian Congress for Traditional Values. They explain about it better than me. Definately worth reading through. It will affect churches too. Carol R

I am not sure where to post this but I am sure someone will veiw it. I live in Scotland and the Labour government in britain has at present just passed a law that is going to make life extremely difficult for Christian people in general but also businesses. It is the Sexual Orientation Regulations. More info can be found on the web at Christian Congress for Traditional Values. I hope that you will look and pray as you feel led by the Holy Spirit. But Christians everywhere need to be aware of this law. It was rushed through parliament on the back of the budget hidden. I only found out by accident and have been praying about it ever since. Hi Mathy, I am not a counsellor but I kinda know what you are on about but in reverse. I always wanted to be married and have a happy family life, well I was married had a son but unfortunately my husband didn't want to stay married this all happened before I was a christian, he wasn't a christian either . Even after I became a christian I still wanted to be married. Through lots of prayer reading the bible and wise counsel I am now completely happy in the Lord on my own with my son. I have accepted the walk God has given me. mine is on my own with my son yours may be with your husband. I don't know but I do know that God is the one to help, he loves you and knows all you go through. I do hope that you find in God what you require. Much love in Christ Carol R

Hi I became a christian 8 years ago. My son was then 8 years old. Before that I was going through a difficult time in my life and was searching. My friends were christians and they ran a sunday school I had been taking my son there. Any reputable church or sunday school will happily let you stay so you can check them out. This can be a good way of introducing young people and adults to Jesus. Its also easier to understans as it is in kiddies language. I found this helpful for me to begin with. hope this helps. Carol R
