I guess those folks, who told you that putting up a Christmas tree is pagan, are not very familiar with GOD and the Old Testament. I believe they are getting their misinformation from Jeremiah 10:2-5 Where GOD is talking about the heathen( nations that do not worship GOD) but worship a tree. Jer 10:4)" They deck it with silver and with gold:they fasten it with nails and with hammers,they move it not." These trees were idols to certain nations. They worshipped these trees as their god. I don't worship my Chrsitmas tree, do you? I didn't think so. Secondly, GOD even considers himself to be a green fir tree. Hosea 14:8 "Ephraim ( for clarification by me, he is referring to the 10 Northern Abrahamic tribes)shall say " 'What have I to do any more with idols? I have heard him.' ' I am like a green fir tree, from Me is thy fruit found.'"( GOD Speaking here). Interpretation: Our GOD is ever green, he is here for ever! Lastly, In Genesis and throughout the Bible, trees symbolize men. In Gen 2:9, in the garden of Eden, spiritually, Christ is the tree of life and Satan is the tree of knowledge of good and evil. In summary: we celebrate December 25th/Christmas as the birth of Christ( even though it is actually the conception of Christ- another subject for another time) and JESUS is the tree of life. GOD considers himself a green fir tree. As long as we don't worship the tree as an idol, I think all believers having a Christmas tree celebrating Christ should be a great pleasure for our Father to see. And he created us for his pleasure( Rev 4:11) One day, each year, we are all thinking of him and his only begotten son. It should serve as a reminder of the blessings we have all year through Jesus Christ and ALMIGHTY GOD, our Father. I am hearing alot of judgement here Who made you folks the judge? Has any one read the book of Matthew lately, the teachings of our LORD and Savior? I use KJV only. Matt 6:14 " For if ye forgive men their trespasses;your heavenly Father will also forgive you;vs.15) But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." My husband and I first started watching Crystal Cathedral years ago but found we were missing something. GOD's Word being taught, so we stopped. We had accepted Christ as our Savior but all we ever heard was the salvation message (milk). We wanted the meat of GOD's word.We have been studying now for years with a Pastor that teaches GOD's Word chapter by chapter and verse by verse, back to the original manuscript languages, when clarity is needed. I truly believe I have the Holy Spirit within me, a peace of mind that I never had before in my life. I believe that the biggest enemy to the Many Membered body- The Church, is the biblically illiterate pastors that teach one verse and take it out of context and never get around to teaching all of GOD's word in the simplicity it was written so that a child can understand.. Please take a look at Jeremiah 17:5-10. Will you trust GOD or man? Also please read Jeremiah 23 and find out what GOD thinks of these pastors. We should not be looking at any book written by any man before we have finished reading GOD's word with understanding. How else will you know what is going to happen in this generation or will you be deceived? In Matt 4, Satan tempted Christ by twisting scripture. If you read Ezek 28, this is the description of the King of Tyre, another one of Satan's name and you will learn GOD gave him the complete pattern. He is beautiful and very wise, especially in scripture and he is the only one, by name, that has already been judged (EZEK. 28:18.19). The pulpit is a great place for Satan to work against us. In order to get our gospel armor on (Ephesians 6), we have to be girded with the truth of GOD's word. If you walk into a church and a pastor gives you a sermon with 1 or2 bible verses then spouts off out of his mouth and doesn't speak GOD's word for the rest of the sermon, hurry and run out of there! Just because thay call themselves a Christian church,doesn't mean they are. In Matt 24 and ;specifically,Mark 13:5-6, in vs. 5 Jesus said "...Take heed lest any man deceive you (vs. 6) " For many shall come in my name saying " I am Christ and shall deceive many. He is specifically speaking of the Anti- Christ( Satan who comes at the 6th trump, 6th seal and 6th vial) but on another level, replace the word Christ with the word Christian- vs 6 again " for many shall come in my name saying I am Christian and shall deceive many) Matthew 13 lets you know that you can tell them by the fruit they produce so remember to test their fruit. I watched this event as it happened on CSPAN. The only way to really see what's going on in our Elected Government since the mainstream media is so agenda driven. The vote was changed after the vote was called closed. Deception by the Democrats once again! Personally, I thought the Sen Boehner's comments to the opposing party were too wimpy and so did two other Rep. Congressman who told the Dems the way it was. Dems lost the vote, didn't like that they lost, so they changed votes after the Speaker had closed the vote, Both Republicans went on and said the the bill should be sent back to committee to take out the benefits paid to illegals clause from this bill. Democrats would not budge. Democrats just showed their true colors again. As a Christian, I will never support them.

I was taught that Hamongog and Armageddon happen at the beginning of the 7th trump right before Jesus returns. God fights this battle so all will know him. This also makes sense since Chapters 40 to end of Ezekial are the most descriptive chapters of the millenium( the 1000 years of teaching), Chapter 44:25 is comforting because it lets people know that they will recognize their flesh families while we are all in spirit bodies( 1 Cor 15:52) Hope this helps! The person "sitting as God" is not an Anti-Christ, because he does not disbelieve in God or Christ. He sits in the throne of Christ as Christ. He is the Vicar of Christ and who;e hearted believes that there is a God and Christ. This is the total opposite of an Anti-Christ. Not in my KJV Bible. Please read Matt 24,Mark 13 and Luke 21. The apostles ask Jesus what it'll be like at his return. In Mark 13 he even lists the seals as in Rev.6. Hi! I use The Companion Bible KJV with commentary by EW Bullinger-(He provides great,but not always perfect, commentary and he was one of the only Christians to be allowed to edit the Massorah). Along with that, I use Green's Interlinear(an inexpensive way to have a copy of the manuscripts)and Strong's concordance for KJV and Smith's Bible dictionary.I'll never give up my worn copy of the RSV that I was brought up on and which is also my trusty companion. I feel that the further you get away from the manuscipts the better chance you have to lose some truths. I hope you find what you are looking for!

Before I found this site,I belonged to another Christian site. I believe in documenting points I make with GOD's word. I sowed seeds of truth, documenting each with GOD's word as well as the Strong's concordance dictionary's translation of the words. Several members of that forum, twisted my words, inferred I was an antichrist, I was posessed by Satan and so on.... I responded with my gospel armor (Eph 6) and told them they acted like Satan in the Garden with Eve(Gen.3) and with Jesus(Matt 4)., twisting scripture to deceive.( Jeremiah 17:5-10 are verses that always remind me to trust in GOD and not man.) I also thanked them for the opportunity they gave me to deal with evil on the internet, since I had never encountered this before. I know I sewed some seeds of truth since a couple of people thanked me and asked more questions. As Christians, persecution and false accusation is a great way to know that we are sowing seeds of truth from GOD's word.
