  1. Animals can also be used to explain Jesus Himself.
Scripture describes Him both as a Lamb and a Lion.
Below, is a simple way to present it to children.

    THE LAMB OF GOD

    THE LION OF JUDAH

Although Jesus is the Lamb of God who came to take away the sins of the world, He’s also something else—a Lion. One day, He’ll return in victory to finally put an end to sin, pain, and tears forever.

The first time Jesus came to earth, He came to die for us like a humble Lamb on the Cross. He lived a perfect life—never sinning and always following God’s will. We could not do that, but He did. Jesus took our sin on Himself so that we could be made right with God (2 CORINTHIANS 5:21). That’s an amazing gift!

But the next time Jesus comes, things will be much different. He is the promised lion of the tribe of Judah, who will rule as the King of the universe (GENESIS 49:9; REVELATION 5:5). Not only that, He promised to make a new heavens and a new earth (REVELATION 21–22). When that happens, He promised that those who trust Him as their Savior will be with Him forever.

Do you want to be in the new heavens and earth, too? You can! The Bible says you must ask for forgiveness and believe that Jesus is the Lamb of God who died and rose again to take away our sins (ROMANS 10:9).

  2. For all of God’s promises have been fulfilled in Christ with a resounding “Yes!” And through Christ, our “Amen” (which means “Yes”) ascends to God for his glory. (2 Cor 1:20)

:emot-nod: Let's stand on the promises of God

and teach our children to do the same.

  3. :)Children love animals. This is a golden opportunity for us. We, as parents can use both pets and animals in the wild as object lessons. We can teach our kids about the wonderful Creator who designed these wonderful creations.

You are a blessing to all of us.

God stepped into my miserable existence twice or three times. Once He was just walking by my side across an English pasture. Once He came with a BANG (a silent bang) and sent demons flying.
Then He made a way where there literally was no way. After this my life really went downhill and I thought I had really lost my way. But a friend came alongside and helped me.

God's Ways are past finding out...

Your prayers avail much, so keep praying please.

    @Justin Adams Very encouraging.

Sometimes I am reminded that I am only a pilgrim here on earth in this life. While this world is so beautiful and the splendor of His Creation abounds, I sometimes am caused to wonder at the heavenly Place that believers are bound for. A place of peace. Of unsurpassed wonder and beauty. A place where you can let down your guard and bask in the love that wipes away all tears and nothing ever threatens. No strife, no fighting, no arguments and no loneliness. No avarice and no greed and no need.

Perhaps the Lord did not say too much about this place because we could not really grasp it, though sometimes we might imagine this Place of Glory and wonder if the garbage bins are made of gold. Or maybe bins are not even needed. We are so earthen bound that the glimpses we have of this other-world existence just blows our minds. I guess I will make it by the skin of my teeth and His Grace and Goodness. Yet as far as reward goes, I really do not mind much for that. I'll clean shoes or sweep streets or anything. Just being there in Love and Kindness and basking in His Presence will be far more than enough for me.

@Justin Adams This morning the Lord led me to this inspiring post of yours. I wanted to thank you for it once again. As much as it resonated with me the first time around, it is speaking to me on an even deeper level now.:)By bumping it up, I am giving others the chance to be blessed by it.
