Marrie, I think you will be just fine, as you look into the word, and watch your thought life. I have a neice this has happened to. She fell for the handsome, kind pastor...and was hooked on her thoughts about him. Now, after a very long struggle, she has a wonderful husband that loves and respects her. she of course, changed churches. Saten knows our weakness, so he has a hayday...when we are weak. God is faithful, and wants us to depend only on HiM, ...He will then give you the strenth when HE knows you mean it. I pray that you will be favored by your husband, and you will have the love you need. love, tilly.

I know of a girl that had to move often. Just when she met some great friends, and was popular in school, off the parents went to the next...."calling". She turned out fine, she met new friends, and is a stronger person becuz of having to move often. She learned how to face her fears, and how to blunge in the crowd and make good friends.(EVEN THOUGH SHE DIDN'T WANT TO.) You are given life ....you choose to make it good, or miserable. this is indeed a hard and sad thing that has happened to Marrie. It is also very common. Fist of all she has a husband that does porn, and then gets mad at her for falling for the nice kind Pastor, he is not very helpful for his wife! 2nd of all, Marrie fell for the Pastor becuase his kindness attracted him to her, as that is what she needed. It happens alot, and yes, it was a good idea to change churches....but to leave the young lady hanging is also very wrong! I do feel for you Marrie...and ask God to help you through this. You know, you meant well by going for help, just keep searching for help through the word of God, and take every thought that is not pure into captivity. That's a great start!

Calvin, I used to think like that.....what the world, is this Chrisianity? I used to often wonder if there was really a God. Then, as time went on and nothing seemed to get any better.....along came this humble ,sweet little great minister from whales England, of all places....here in the USA.....he preached about the cross, and about committment, and about...being broken, and surrendering....WOE!! My spirit jumped within me!!! I hungered for more! It was a long painful road.......it wasn't easy for me, I suffered so much. I will not regret it tho...it brought me to a place where noting much phases me anymore, nor surprises me. I just know that I am redeemed, man, and I don't care to have to understand and pick at God anymore. You know...really, it is pretty sad when we have to shake our finger at God. dahh!!

My DH thinks that part of the scripture that says..."the woman is the helpmeet"= means, she helps him in things, ironing, cleaning house, having all his clothes ready. that really gets me goat! :oww:

I'm big on keeping myself up, staying thin, and looking good. Mainly becuz my DH likes it, and he likes to see me look sharp. I am not skinny, but just right for my height. I try to stay in style, with modesty as number one! I really like sharp suits!! Then again I like dressing down, jeans, and T-sirt!! yea! I highlight my hair, and keep the style as much as possible. Mainly try to keep myself humble b4 my Savior, and keep in tune to His Holy Spirit. I have fun with many ppl....all of sizes! :t:
