From what I have learned reading about Paul over the years. He was in many places. He wrote from prison while waiting his execution, he wrote alot of letters to churches, also letters to youngTimothy whom he was teaching. I do not believe he knew that his letters would make it in the bible. We benefited in so much of Paul, he suffered alot of hurts... his condition in writing was loving, and forgiving... and his writings help us in the bible daily.

was thinking maybe she feels her Life ....is her own cross to carry. In other words, her life was a waste without any guidance and now she has found what truly matters is with Jesus.

I so love what you said, and guess what? Today I took a wonderful, 2 mile walk, and God was with me, I cried a little, prayed a little, and just felt a lot better because God got me out there!! Hello celebratejesus, Very nice topic you started. With me I have come to realize that our salvation is something we constantly have to work at it. Because Paul even talks about working out our salvation. For example, cleaning up on the outside meaning walk and talk a certain way, just brings no joy. Thats the difference between relationship and religion. Salvation is a inside job. Just like a garden, we can't work it out until you get something in the garden to work out. Things in our life that need changing like maybe our tongue. When God comes into our lives, He changes us little by little. Doesn't mean we will never slip up. Just means we working out our salvation. Reading and applying scriptures in our life is our responsibility for it is God who works in us. I think it is God that enriches our mind and challenges us. blessings, desi

it feels like a tug-of- war? Trusting God just means that your will for your life is becoming aligned with Him. Don't quit now.We all struggle but giving up is giving in to satan. Life is a struggle of strength and will. When the time comes and your ready you will have submitted to God and God will give you the desires of your heart-- more than likely that will be the desire to know God better. praying for you, may the Lord's love touch you and help you through this tug of war your feeling. amen.

This is true. I just dont feel safe anymore. i know Jesus, but the church scares me. My Prayers are with you and for you ! I know what you are going through, i have been their many times by other Christians from other Churches you have to know something these are Spirit fill Christians & we are all human in the flesh, and not perfect, Only God Is ! Sometimes they forget who they are In Christ, and their flesh pops in, more like carnal Christians, their old ways pop up, one foot in the world, the other foot in Christ. Some Christians, not all, if you leave their Church & go to another, these Christian friends will have nothing to do with you anymore, saying you loose your salvation and some won't. or they may see you still have a sin in your life, maybe you don't see it that could be a old habit, i been their i was struggling with cigarettes, & yes i was being judge, my friends i still call them that as friends today even though they don't want anything to do with me because of my habit are told from the word to not be social with those of the world, because it might bring them into sin, and i understand that, & cigarettes are my weak spot now, and God is helping me in this area now. But in the mean-time these friends still think i'm still in the world because i smoke, they think i have to be perfect like them. But i don't point my finger's at them and tell them they have greed the love of money & pride in their life, i just pray for them. And love them. I can't change them, Only God can ! As far as the Church goes, don't walk away from going to Church, that is what satan wants you to do, the Church is the body of believers. God say's in His Word, do not for sake the assembly of the saints. We need each other to help build each one up, encourage each other, pray together,fellowship together, worship together, sing, praise, and learning & studying His word together, share burdens together etc. Maybe your problems are not the part of the body but the church your in ? Are you being convicted in your church, when your hearing the Word, are you being convicted by the spirit, if you are not , get out of that Church, you need to get yourself into a bible believing Church, that is on fire for the LORD ! But those who have hurt you, Forgive them and move on, and Pray that God, will bring other Christian friends to you, believe me He will ! When your doing the "Will" of God, and doing things for Him and studying His Word and living it, helping others, believe me you will forget those who have hurt you. God will bring so much peace and fill your spirit & heart with so much joy and His LOVE, the hurt will be gone. Lastly, when you get the thought about killing yourself, that is not of God, but of satan. Satan is out to destroy, he hates anyone who will follow Christ, and he preys on those who back slide or those who get out of God's word, read Eph. 6 study the whole armour of God, put it on you, cover yourself with it. And remember 1John 4:4- Greater is He that is in You, than he that is in the world. What it is saying here : Great is Christ who is in your life, than satan who lives in the world. This world is not our home were just passing through, but God has given each one of us to be ministers to go out and bring lost sheep to Him, until He comes back and were rapture up to go home. Theirs so much to do ! I don't know who you are , but God knows you & your hurts, and i pray that he will lift your spirits up and put the end to those who bully & hurt you, and i will continue to pray . thank you Louise your words are a blessing.

very nice sermon...after all the pain paul had to endure, i'm sure he didnt know his writings would of made it in the bible, its amazing, and here we are reading the bible, he left a mark.

to grow deeper in Him, requires focusing your thoughts on Him. The better you know Christ, the more you will understand about your life.

yep, some christians tend to have a chip on their shoulder so to speak. Some can be very condemning.

yes I have to go to several places for analyzing or reading deeper in a scripture and find its meaning.

I was a little nervous several years back when we moved here.I thought it might not be as safe because it was so remote but it has turned out to be very safe.And a couple of times someone has shown up at our door.OH BOY!!!! I tell them are you ever lost I remember growing up on a farmland and had the woods all around us, and small creeks, the trickling sound of the water, my folks had 50 acres, when i was a kid and i use to hike around all that stuff, was the best! except late at night we had creepy things like wild dogs that might come up near the barn and my dad had to go out with his gun to scare them wild dogs away. That was years ago so now I Live in the city, and I get that urge alot to go out walking and its nothing like being out in the country but it makes a person appreciate life in a different way.

i love the sounds of the sea too. Yes,I love the sound of the ocean.Staying in a cabin right by the ocean and hearing the ocean roar can put me right to sleep.....yes or even at a hotel up high enough I would leave the sliding glass door open most of night just to hear the sound of the ocean. or even a hotel up high enough (don't want any unexpectant guests walking in)...would leave the glass sliding door open most of the night just to hear the waves crashing in the shore line.

"Muffled silence" sounds like a good description! Yes, it is. There's something calming and beautiful about it, isn't it? yes very calming.

I do believe abortion is so wrong, it short circuits what God says in His plan for a human life. So many women judge their circumstances on to abort or not to abort. God has a better plan, a plan that He knows would benefit a woman with this child, He will make a way more then anyone can begin to explain to a woman. Now the woman has to live with aborting the baby, what she has done. Some will tell you its ok you will get past it, no thats a lie, it will haunt you for the rest of your life. I have heard many stories on this. I seen many tears from women. Such pain and hurt to have to go through.

I am sorry you went through such pains in your family, If I can encourage you here, remember God forgives you moment by moment. Extend that same generous forgiveness to others. Because look at it this way, maybe your pretty good at outwardly keeping your cool perhaps you're even proud of how forgiving you appear to be at times. But storing up complaints and hurts until you reach a bursting point, isnt good either. Just pray about it to God and He will help you. Just focus on Christ and strive to know Him better and better. colossians 3:13 Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.

I tend to think that it is more of a Mormon beliefs regarding 3 heavens. I only know of one heaven and that is with God. But it was interesting reading what you wrote. It does make me ponder a bit.

Ever been outside while it is snowing, with an inch or more of snow already on the ground? It has a very unique sound of silence. yea a very mute sound of the snow falling, very unique sound indeed.
