  1. Always does. I've never seen him not. When the Rams won the Super Bowl he yelled Thank you Jesus! lol And Adrian Wilson, the guy who's played the longest on the team, 8 years of losing, was crying his eyes out after the game. He could barley speak. But he got out, "God is good.". And the local TV station interviewed a lineman in the locker room and he ended with yelling God is great. I've never seen so many guys do that before.
  2. So, for those of you who don't like football, you still might want to read this. Kurt Warner plays for the Arizona Cardinals and is VERY open about his Christian beliefs. The Cardinals have won like 2 playoff games in 62 years. They have a long long history of being bad. They average 5 wins a season... There's 16 games. So, again, they've always been bad... Kurt Warner never made it to the NFL out of college. He was a grocery bag clerk. But he decided to try out for an arena football team. Arena football is football in a basketball arena so the field is way smaller and walls surround the field. It's pretty cool. And he made the team. He was named the starting QB and soon became the best Arena Football League QB. People kept telling him try out for the St. Louis Rams. (They're an NFL team) And he did... Somehow, he made it! And guess what? They have a REALLY bad history too. VERY bad. Never been good... And to sum up his first year in the NFL... They won the Super Bowl and he was the Most Valuable Player. No one picked that to happen. They went to the Super Bowl again and lost but he was still known as the best QB in the NFL. After like 4 or 5 years, the Rams no longer wanted him as the QB. He played for the NY Giants for a year and he pretty much fell off the map. Then AZ wanted him... He was decent an AZ was ok... So, now it's 2008 and he's 37. Arizona had it's best year in... Well, history. And Kurt Warner had his best year in a long time. So, AZ makes it to the playoffs... People were saying we were the worst playoff team in NFL history. They said we'd lose in our first game. Especially the people betting in Vegas. And guess what? We won. Advance to the next round. NO ONE picked us to win... And again, especially Vegas. We were suppose to lose by 10 point. Guess what? We won by 20. Now, we'll DEFINITELY not win this next game... And again, Vegas agreed. And guess what? We won. And now we're in the Super Bowl. And again, we're not suppose to win. But what does this have to do with God? Well, I found this article from 5 days ago. http://www.ktar.com/sports/?nid=23&sid=1026599&r=1 Isn't it odd? The grocery bag clerk who finds God become the best Arena football player than the best NFL player and Super Bowl winner and now is taking the worst NFL team in history to the Super Bowl??? NFL teams can beat NFL teams. But can they beat prayer? Oh, and the whole hit on Anquan Boldin, most people call it a miracle. He had a few plates in his face. It was a NASTY hit. And right after it happened, guess who was kneeling down in prayer? About 20 players in each team and Kurt was leading it. Odd how that works. haha God is doing something great in the Arizona Cardinals.
  3. You're wise for 15. Let me share something with you. I am 48 years old. I met my wife when I was 12 years old and married her when we were both 19. We just celebrated our 29th year of marriage. Know what my greatest joy is? She is the ONLY one...I mean she is it. She is all I have ever needed to satisfy my needs, physically and mentally. We have been faithful to one another even BEFORE we believed and confessed Christ. So no, waiting is good. One thing that neither of us have ever had to worry about is being infected by STDs. It also makes me feel proud that we have been faithful to one another. Regarding the song, if it promotes sex outside marriage, it is junk. Thats good to hear, man!!! Hope my wife and I can be blessed like ya'll! And about the song, I don't think it does promote it... It doesn't say. It doesn't say if they're married or not. So, idk...
  4. waiting for sex is by far the best way to go, the rewards for doing so are awesome. as for the song, I have never heard it but the lyrics are not really what you want to be listening to if you really want to wait. It is like putting a cup cake in front of yourself and then saying "I wont eat it" while you stare at it. Yeah, but to be honest, whenever I listen to it, I've never been tempted. I've never even thought of sex. I've only thought of my future wife for some reason.
  5. So, I'm gettin' close to turning 15 and I'm a guy. So, I think you know where I'm going... Sex. It's becoming more and more of a temptation. I understand sex is sinful before marriage and I've committed myself to wait. Because I love my future wife already and I want to be able to say, I saved all this for you and you alone. And not to mention, it's obeying God. But, my youth pastor kind of got me thinking. So, I love the song "I'll Make Love To You" by. And he can get a little bent outta shape about it. To be honest, it's probably my favorite love song of all time. And when I hear it, I don't think of it as like a rap song talking about "breakin stuff" and "that ghetto love" and so on... They just make it sound like a great great thing if it's done right. And the song overall is romantic. I know sex is a gift from God. I sorta view it as my wife and I's wedding present, straight from God. So my question is, is waiting for sex bad??? And also, would you view the song to be inappropriate and bad? Thank you and God Bless! :] Your brother in Christ, Kris
  6. Thanks for the advice guys and I gotta admit, I agree fully with what ya'll said. Now I have a different opinion on it. Thanks. Stay blessed.
  7. The thing is, the rebound wasn't on purpose... I just got a crush randomly like 4 days after. I don't want a relationship, though... I agree. In rebound, there should never be a relationship in it... I say just like her and maybe you'll get over your ex. ya know?
  8. I was dumped a week and a half ago after liking this girl for like 18 or so months and she liked me for a year and we were boyfriend and girlfriend for 5 months. She claimed she thought it was God's plan and all and I didn't really feel that it was but nonetheless, you can't are against that. After about 2-3 attempts of going On Bended Knee(Boyz II Men fans know what that is) failed, I pretty much gave up and realized it was pointless... Even though she still likes me and I still like her... But the main thing is... Is going in rebound a bad thing? From my past relationship(before I was a Christian) I went in rebound and got over the girl... When I say rebound, I don't mean dating her because I know a lot of people do that... I mean just letting yourself like another girl to try and take away feelings for your ex... What ya'll think?
  9. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it. "The thing is, your life is the last thing you want to give up... I mean, its YOUR LIFE. Can't we just keep this one thing? My life is the most important thing to me... Why would I want to give it up?' Well... If your like means that much to you, wouldn't you give it up...to save it? If you keep it, you lose it... So again, if it means that much to you, why would you keep it? You'll lose it that way... Remember? Don't know how much sense that makes but....Just something to think about... God Bless
  10. Tough one... I'd say actually for my third, it's a song by Boyz II Men called I Will Get There... They're not a Christian band but they are all deeply religious... nonetheless, it doesn't go into great deal about God but it inspires me to seek Him, etc... The second is the song Marvelous Light... Don't know the original artist. Forgot his name. But the song is in a way describing that feeling when you first find Christ and ya'll know that feeling and it's totally awesome. It's a little uptempo so at church it gets you moving. The number one is From The Inside Out by Hillsong United... Talk about a song that has made me go total surrender in the past. lol I got dumped by my girlfriend on the 3rd day of church camp and I remember at chapel they sang this... and the lyrics spoke to me. I mean, I've gotten my praise on before and all but I was on my knees. haha Ever since it still speaks to me. Cause I want to be consumed from the inside out... hmm. 11. Ok...That very thought is scary...Think about it...That TERRIBLE pain....FOREVER...never ending...woah. Don't want that. Glad I'm saved!!! :] Thank you Jesus! :]
  12. Is it always wrong? Like, example, I help coach a girls elementary basketball team. We lost by 16 today and it was the championship game and our head coach, Coach Carter kept saying how they might have beat us score wise but they did not defeat or pride, and so on...And he meant basically, don't let them see you cry..Don't view your selves as losers...etc. Is pride wrong when it comes to that?
  13. Youtube...I had a video of 2 girls from my youth group just messing around..and since my username is JesusFreak1john17, and my page has tons of Christian stuff on it, he said that. He also called tobyMac, formally of dc Talk, now of tobyMac, lol well, he called him a c*nt. Why? I don't. I just saw it on a around comment from a music video. So he obviously hates Christianity. Oh, and I sent that to him in a message.
  14. Ok, well, generally, for what ever reason, atheist don't really like Christians...And can be pretty pompous arrogant people...No offense to an atheist who's reading this...Not saying your like that.. But, when an atheist, who hates you for being a Christian says to your 13 and 14 year old girl friends, (not girlfriends girlfriends...Just friends that are girls) that he wants to choke them with his d*** and hopes they die...Aren't you allowed to kinda stand up for them? An average Christian would say, 'Oh, W.W.J.D...' Well, me, I'm thinking, if Jesus saw that happen, He'd stick up for them...well, I did it in an unkindly manner...but I don't feel bad..and don't think I should. Here's what I said: "Hey. The comments you posted were completely inappropriate and very immature for an adult to say. Christian or not...Atheist or not...Either way. It ain't right...and you are honestly, you have no class and you really need to reevaluate your life...I'm not talking from a Christian standpoint...But saying a disgraceful comment like that to 13 and 14 year old girls is sick. You are the reason people don't respect Atheist... You have NO CLASS. Sorry if I come across as mean or arrogant but don't even think of saying something like 'Oh, wow...What a Christian.' Because I'm not saying stuff like...F you, and I hope you die...I'm just saying...You need some class, player...And NO ONE will respect you and your beliefs when you act that way because it shows that atheist aren't nothing but a bunch or pompous, arrogant people who really need to change the way they view the world...Listen, Even if God DOESN'T exist, it doesn't give you a right to say stuff like that, dude... You got serious issues... Peace" i think thats right? Agreed? My like, agnostic sister or whatever she is doesn't think so...What do you think? Cause, I mean, saying stuff like that pisses me off...To the extreme.
  15. If that happens, they are drifting away from God..but it's never to late to run back..He'll still hold you in His arms..and call you His child. You can't really be kicked out of the church..All ya gotta do when you leave Him, just turn around..and He will meet you right there.
