  1. for you maybe........................ Bubba.......helping Richard.........me thinks you might need a new lesson! Don't worry Bubba4J, we can take 'em! No need to fear, Kittyheart is here!!!
  2. I agree that some are more sensitive than others, such is an area of discernment. And I agree that it is not the area or the home of and within itself. However, an area or home in which certain things are practiced, there does remain a lingering effect or stronghold. Are you at all familiar with the Anasazi Indians? If so, you may already know that some of their 'ceremonial' places are well known for that lingering effect. Other indian tribes shy away from those places like the plague. They have become a 'stronghold' for such activity. Fully understood and appreciated. The Scriptures are our guide book. It is not 'tradition', nor the 'majority', nor our own personal 'experiences' that count. I do think it is possible for a 'heavy' feeling to accompany certain places, just as that sense of 'foreboding' may accompany certain places. Yes, it is possible that having foreknowledge of such may illicit such a reaction within us. It is when we go somewhere without any such knowledge and experience such things that give one cause to pause and consider it. For myself, there was a time of fearlessness in that regard, I have learned caution. Not fear, but caution.
  3. I like yohoos, but they are fattening.................. I can't touch that one. I can't even think of a comeback... This is indeed a sad day
  4. I didn't list those that others had mentioned. Yes, the woman with bleeding touched his cloak, as did others in the remaining references. I like the line of thought/reasoning. It intrigued me. However on a cursory search this morning, I don't see any real meaning to it so far. However I will keep it mind and be thinking upon it through out the day.
  5. Yep, I see ya now. As I see I had another drive-by visitor
  6. I don't even see you when I take a look at the "Who's Online" page. You are really invisible! There is a way I have noticed that some use to make 'cloak' themselves and they appear as 'anonymous' users. However I have no idea as to how to do so. Perhaps you have that setting enabled? Sorry, I have no clue.
  7. Give mine a shot, I'll let you know. BTW: You have to take off your invisible cape
  8. Hmmm, very interesting observation. I do hate to disturb the image it has created for you... In Mark 10:46-52; Luke 18:35-42, it doesn't record there being any touch, He simply says, your faith has healed you. There are also other instances of touch: Matthew 8; Mark 1:41; Luke 5:13; man with leprosy. Matt 8 mother-in-law with fever. Luke 7:14, touched a coffin Those who touched Him were healed: Matthew 9:20; Mark 5:27; Luke 8:44 woman with bleeding. Matthew 14:36; Mark 6:56
  9. We shall see. OTOH: Perhaps Walla is a wallaby
  10. Would that be a pogo stick? I don't know if Walla pogo's or not.................... Then perhaps Walla is a wallaroo and thus a very effect leader of squirrels
  11. IMO: When the offense no longer has any control over you or your actions. Further, when you no longer hold the offense against the other person.
  12. Ha your probably leading them! Is Walla the Pied Squirrel Piper of Worthy Boards?
  13. IMO: Polygamy was allowed. With regard to Timothy and Titus: Well, a man with more than one wife wouldn't have the necessary time, nor the required energy to fulfill the duties of that calling. As for Deuteronomy 17:17, if we are to imply that it limits a man to one wife, by that same measure we must limit him to one piece of silver and one piece of gold. The verb in both is yarbeh_lo. For myself: I do not advocate polygamy. However, I can not deny that it was indeed an accepted practice.
  14. Nope, we know it! But you are still a dearly loved child of the Most High and someone that we appreciate around here.
  15. Yes and yes. I am following the thread, if I see a place in which I may offer some contribution, I will not hesitate.
  16. I also have had such experiences. However I do not seek such. What you describe is not unlike what Damo shared. I had a neighbor a few years back in whose home such things occurred as well. I lived in a place in which two lamps would come on of their own accord at times. Like Patricia stated, we should go through and 'clean' house beforehand. I failed to do so that time. After 'cleaning' house, those occurences ceased. I will concur with regard to a place in which s
  17. Alright: I suppose I will throw my hat into the ring. Disclaimer: I have not studied this out, it is merely some thoughts of the top of my head that many will/may disagree with. It is not intended as anything more than something to consider, nor can I support it. As a young boy, it is without doubt that like us, Jesus had a measure of the Holy Spirit within. However, just like us, he was tempted in every way and victorious over the temptations, be those temptations of the flesh, the mind, etc.. It was not until His baptism by John, that the full measure of the Holy Spirit, the fulness of the Godhead dwelt bodily [cf Col 2:9], was poured out upon Him. Have I stepped out upon a limb here and have the saw working next to the trunk? That is possible. Based upon everything that the Scriptures testify unto with regard to the Holy Spirit, if the full measure of the Holy Spirit was always within/upon Jesus, it would be near impossible for Him to truly understand/sympathize with our weaknesses and to be tempted in every way. Hebrews 4:15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are
  18. I shall indeed look forward to it. <snip> I have never stated otherwise. In fact I have supported it completely. This is rather moot as a rebuttal. I shall indeed look forward to it.
