    Family and friends<br />Food (both cooking and eating!)<br />Books<br />Handmade craft<br /><br />I currently live in Japan although I spent most of my life in France.<br /><br />My father is Chinese but was raised by a Japanese family, so that makes me a half Chinese Japanese who's mostly French on the inside. My parents are lay missionaries and have been preaching the gospel to local Japanese in Paris for the past 35 years.<br /><br />Otherwise I'm married and have two lovely kids. My job is to teach English and French, but I also make all kinds of handmade stuff, and recently started translating French children books into Japanese.<br /><br />The church I go to is Cumberland Presbyterian.

    It's easy to say not to trust men and to rely on the Lord. Our Gor is a truthful and faithful God, we do know that, but when it comes to truly believe it, living in this world full of deceptions and lies, I think you have all the reasons to feel reluctant and scared. I don't know if it's accurate to quote this verse in this specific matter, but this is one that helps me take courage and regain hope, when my heart feels weak and sad. I think this refers to God always keeping His promises.

    Good issue, although punctuation is often omitted and words abbreviated on the internet (in any language actually!) As for me, English is not my first language, and I'm having a hard time using the correct punctuation, but I have to say I do agree with Willow. Better for both native and non-native English speakers!
