  1. I'm afraid she's not doing too good, she still can't eat or sleep. Let's keep her in our prayers.
  2. It's easy to say not to trust men and to rely on the Lord. Our Gor is a truthful and faithful God, we do know that, but when it comes to truly believe it, living in this world full of deceptions and lies, I think you have all the reasons to feel reluctant and scared. I don't know if it's accurate to quote this verse in this specific matter, but this is one that helps me take courage and regain hope, when my heart feels weak and sad. I think this refers to God always keeping His promises.
  3. Good issue, although punctuation is often omitted and words abbreviated on the internet (in any language actually!) As for me, English is not my first language, and I'm having a hard time using the correct punctuation, but I have to say I do agree with Willow. Better for both native and non-native English speakers!
  4. Thinking of and praying for you dear sister!
  5. Still praying Angelique!
  6. Happy father's day to every dad here!
  7. Aaahh, yes, I know what you mean Alan! I am in one of those situations once in a while too. I do nothing special. I feel nothing inside just as you described, so I just wait until it passes. Luckily, it never lasts long. One thing I do though is keep reading the bible everyday, maybe even more fervently than usual. I just read it. I know that for some people it lasts longer, and they find that period pretty painful (spiritually.)
  8. I'm praying too! My dad had the same kind of symptoms a couple of years ago, and the cause was a blood clot in the head (outside the brain,) so he had a surgery to take it out. That was really quick and he's been doing great since then.
  9. I'll be praying for her too.
  10. I'll be praying for you too. I feel very sorry about what happened to you at the other website.
  11. What a great news! Praise the Lord! (That's me dancing for joy and relief)
  12. I feel so sorry you feel so alone! But I can totally relate to what you're saying, I don't think you're being too selfish. I guess there's nothing wrong in feeling the way you do. I too remember being so eager for years about finding the right person and having my own family. But God's message to me was that I was lacking some important lessons and needed to learn that first. It really was a step by step process in my case. Then I did meet the right guy but again had to wait a while because there too was another lesson the Lord wanted me to learn. Things don't work the same for everyone, so my story's probably different from what you encounter, but I too think that focusing on God Himself is a good thing to start with (you may or may not have what you want at once, but I can assure you that you'll be abundantly blessed in ways you simply didn't imagine!)
  13. I'm praying for you too Angelique!
  14. You have nothing to fear and they know it too. Actually they also know you already belong to Jesus (if not they wouldn't do anything to you) so they will do their best to hold you back. I'll be praying!
