She doesn't want to debate "pants vs skirts". It's the "new christian" thing she's asking about. Should she tell her friend she "must" wear a skirt or dress? That's how I see it. It is too easy to fall into the trap of making secondary issues a matter of one's spirituality. Let the Holy Spirit bring people to convictions on issues of that nature without us superimposing our standards upon them.

I agree with most of what you have received as advice. Sometimes the church hinders their members from being a solid Christian witness. If that is your intent, you keep doing what you are doing.

Not from the media but listening to his sermons. This isn't the first time he has expressed such sentiments and they are not necessarily factual......Is America guilty of creating aids? Hardly!

I think the damage is already done. He spoke highly of his pastor until the world became aware of his real attitude toward America. So my question is, "is Obama able to discern character? If in fact he has been mentored by this man, how will he separate truth from error? How will his background in such hatred affect his administration? His speech today may have stopped the immediate media frenzie, but I am not sure it will change much.

Medically it can be problematic if the tatoo is placed in an area where an IV would be placed for example. Apparently, the dye can enter the blood stream and be dangerous if not fatal.
