When is the last time the USA experienced a loss of hundreds of thousands of people in a quick moment.... earthquake, flood, hurricane, volcano, flu,? Let alone a man made catastrophe like war, biological, etc. We have been protected, and if that protection is lifted due to our babylonian ways..... we should be prepared. not jumping on the boat that passes by in a flood because you are waiting for God to rescue you... may not be very wise. each or us must pray and search our hearts to know what the Oil is for ourselves. hey guys, time for group hug not sure what the fuss is about, if Jesus was speaking to all or just to specific group, it does not change what or how we should live. We all know rules are not the answer. We all know Jesus gave us but one commandment, That we love the Lord our God with all our hearts, soul and mind. If we do that, all the rest will follow..... and don't forget to love your neighbor as yourself. seems like a simple message to understand, lets not get side tracked by issues that don't really take us closer to each other or to God.

To expand on this topic a bit, how about just looking at sex sin period. Fornication, adultery, lust are all sins. Homosexuality is just one part of it. The homosexual movement seems to deny their behavior is a sin

Social progress/expansion inevitably will mean loss of freedom. I can no longer ride my horse into town and tie it up at the local saloon, spit on the side walk, carry my six shooter on my hip or let my cattle roam free. We put up fences and let the towns grow too big for me to enjoy the freedoms that once existed. We have so many cars on the road they now make everyone take a test and get a drivers license because of traffic congestion frequency of accidents. Back in the good old days, kids on the farm just drove, no one worried about age or any ole license

I find it interesting that some feel they have lost some rights through the patriot act. Our government is not doing much more than what the business marketing community has already done. Google has more info on all of us than the government does. each credit card company has more data and monitors every thing we do. Stop lights, atms, store, public gathering areas all have cameras.... our privacy went away many years ago. We all talk on cell phones knowing that anyone can monitor on a scanner what we are saying, and all the businesses sell our info to each other. now having said that, all of this does provide access for a dasterdly world govenment that will most likely come looking for christians as traitors, and all they have to do is pull the records for those who buy christian music, books, and visit and post on christian sites. But, for the moment, I don't see the government as getting anymore information over the phones, online or through our financial records we are not already giving up to others. the provision recently made for martial law and the use of military in the USA is concerning, but its all necessary for when the New World Order does take over, and do I think we can stop it, NO, but I hope by paying attention to who we elect as the next USA president we can delay it for a bit longer.

hello, hope you don't mind if I just chirp in obviously none of us knows about obama ..... but it is entertaining to speculate. The USA is becoming more and more dependent on global laws and regulations. The power that will enforce these global treaties, regulations and universal taxes is still evolving. But as the USA gives over more and more to this entity, we fall from world view. If we have a president and congress who refuses to support Israel or may not be in a position to support Israel, there would be no reason for us to be mentioned in scripture. How bad are we..... are we like it was at the time of Noah, sodam & gomorah? I think we are headed that way and unless we can change like Ninevah did, we are in for some real trying times. In the USA, this is the first time in history that christians have been labeled as intolerant, haters and troublesome. The attitude in this country and around the world is getting scary in its lack or respect and understanding of what true christianity is. And in some cases, they have good reason to hold christians suspect to fraud, abuse and intolerance, but that is from the sinfullness of people, not what they would find if they looked for God, as God has said, all who seek me will find me. Peoples attitudes are increasingly leading in a direction away from God, so should we be looking for the anit-christ, or the Lords return, or concentrating on how can we help change this objection to God, to one of longing for Him? I think all three current presidential candidates will lead the USA closer to submitting to a global authority, but I think one will get us there slower than the other two.... and having said that....... GOD is in control.

hi new to all of this board stuff, but had to throw in my 2 cents worth. no one knows when the Lord will return. Paul and his buddies looked and studied hard to know the messiah, all to no avail. Jesus had to hit Paul over the head before Paul recognized Jesus. I don't see where we will do any better. We look and look and think we see the end coming, the bottom line is, Jesus says to be ready, period. Keep your life right with him, love him and the rest will take care of its self. worrying about who and when only distracts, the world is changing and changing fast toward a global government and all the things we associate with the end are very viable, one world government, no cash, christians accused of being hate teachers, etc..... pre, post, mid tribers, amils, does it really make a difference in our love for Christ or how we live? maranatha!

hello all, just joined today and am excited about all the different discussions. 1. how do I post without the previous persons inputs displaying in the box? 2. on the subject of ID cards..... usa and britian are going to them, what about the other countries like spain, germany, france etc. Do they already have a system in place, is the EU going to a single system? Just curious as to how far along this inevitable ID card system has come. my own thoughts on the card... no way to stop it. ID theft, financial fraud, passports, cashless debit cards, etc. they are all part of the reason and people will have no choice, just like the SSN. It will be the only way people can work, shop, and travel. maranatha!
