Well, its for certain a house divided will not stand. Come on guys, play nice. Rev. T. has made some interesting points as have some of the others here. All i do know for sure is we need to be ready for whatever will happen. Agreed?

I want to say that I have learned a lot from so many here on the boards, and I have been encouraged and strengthened by some also. But if I may, I would like to say a big Thank You Brother Dad Ernie for your prayers for me and my son. Your faith and wisdom from the scriptures and prayers for someone you havent even met have been greatly appreciated. Also two exceptional hebrew roots guys who have helped me to understand more about my faith and have set me straight on a couple of things I would like to also say shalom my brothers and thank you too!

This just reaffirms for me that the gentile nations cannot do without Israel. They are a blessing to the world. I pray for their peace and safety always.

Salt and Light, I do agree with you. Why would "Religous Leaders" care about "Santa Claus and his elves? I thought they believed that "Jesus is the reason for the season". It doesnt suprize me either. I saw on the news recently about some pastor here in the states that is upset that his congregation was banned from entering a Christmas flloat in the Winter Soltace Parade. Lets get real here. Why, as a Christian, would you want to participate in a pagan parade? I thought the scriptures said to "come out from among them and be ye seperate"? Look up the word NICK. my dictionary says Nick(nik) THE DEVIL, Also OLD NICK, it is also a slang word meaning to cheat or trick. Look up the word Elf- a dwarfish mischievious sprite. Look up Sprite- a disembodied spirit. A fairy, elf, or goblin. Many people have called Santa "Old Saint Nick. Hmmm, why would we want to make him out to be a Saint. Now im not talking about the person Saint Nicholas, Im talking about taking the word (Phrase) Old Nick meaning the devil and putting the titile of Saint in his name. Makes me wonder! Also the word elf-elves, disembodied spirits? mischevious? sounds like demons to me. HMMM Could the devil be the Father of Christ-Mass (Christmas?) Think about it. A mass in the christian sense is regarded as a commemoration or repetition of Christs sacrafice on Calvary. At christmas time we are suppose to remember Him only right? But why do we continue to get upset when people who do not know the Lord only do what is natural for them? Santa Claus, Old Saint Nick, his elves, decorating trees (I know a lady that puts a tree in every room of her house, even in the kitchen and bathrooms) ha! Shes a pastors wife and I love her dearly, but she really goes overboard with the tree thing. And Christmas (Christ-Mass) doesnt have anything to do with His birth, the very word implies remembering His death. It seems to me this York Dungeon or whoever these people are, were having a Santamass, beheading him and impaling the elves. This goes to show who they think the real Father is. The devil himself. It is sick and twisted and Christians should not want to have anything to do with this darkness. But I believe Salt and Light is right on with this one. These people are showing the real identity of whom they serve. The devil. But this is what we get when we try and mix true Christianity with the things of the world and with the father of lies. Santa Claus brings presents to all good little boys and girls Jesus is the present sent to a dying world, to those of us who are not so good but in need of a savior who is. Santa has his hordes of little elves who help him(Devil has his demonic hordes) Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to guide and help us. Santa decends thru a chimeny where smoke goes up from the fire beneath it Jesus acended to heaven Santas garments are Red and wight. Jesus gives us garments of pure white if we are washed by his blood. Milk and cookies are left out for Santa ( an offering to him) Jesus gives us the bread of life and the wine of joy. Theres more i wont post here but im sure you get the point. Jesus gives us life and things eternal, santa is a counterfit that give only once a year. I know most christians say that they do not do the "Santa" thing, and thats great! But remember, Christmas is a holiday mixed with paganistic things as well. No need in getting mad at those "pagans" who want to celebrate it the way they see it. All we can do is pray for them and try to remove all the pagan influences out of a holiday we want to deem Christian in our own lives.

The EAGLES ARE NOT gathered in heaven.They are gathered togethere to disposing of the flesh of the wicked. They are birds of prey. In the parable of the wheat and the tares, we have another example of the wicked being TAKEN OUT FIRST and the GOOD left to be gathered. Matt. 13:30 "Let them both grow togethere until the HARVEST: and in the time of HARVEST I will say to the reapers, Gather ye togethere FIRST the TARES, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the WHEAT into my BARN. It is only after the tribulation of the church and the taking out of the wicked that Yeshua will "GATHER UP HIS WHEAT".

I believe DE is right. In Rev. 11:7 It says the beast will make war against the two witnesses. You wouldnt go to or make war with two peoples, but you would with 2 people groups. It is persecution of the church. John 16:2 They will put you out of the synagogues: yes, the time is coming that whoever kills you will think that he offers God service.

Yea Yea Yea Nazim Ali, America is so injust, that they just approved to give the Palastenians $20 million. If there is any injustice done, it is to the American tax payer which I am one of them. So, is this a policy you like, or are you aginst it? Do you see that this would also be funding terrorist? Do you think Hamas might get some of that money? America does not and did not "create" terrorist. Terrorist are of their own making. People who do such things do it of their own free will. Yeshuas own words were that there would be wars and rumors of wars before He comes back. You know the saying, Im okay, you're okay, and everyone is okay? Well, thats a lie! Thats pacifist thinking. The terroist want to kill you, and if that means killing their own in the process, including women and children, they dont care. Wake up. Islam is not a peacful religon to anyone unless you are an Islamist. Other than that, you are an infidel period! I dont like this war either. But were in it. Hello BibleBoy, Ron Wyatt I do believe was SDA, but he is deceased you know. The fellow heading up his work now is Richard Reeves. Reeves wrote a book called "TO long in the Sun". I dont jnow the link to his site. Just type in the name of the book or Richard Reeves name. I believe his site speaks of Ron Wyatt in depth and what he did and did not accomplish thru archeology while he was living.

borntorebel, You said that grace means something we do not deserve , a gift, right? Well one of the first person I can think of that God was gracious to was Cain. God did not slay him then and there for the murder of Abel. He even marked Cain so that anyone who found him would not kill him. The mark was not a stigma, but rather a protection for Cain and shows Gods awesome grace , mercy, and love for even impenitent sinners. I dont look up to see how many times the word "grace" is in the OT, I know that God was gracious to many in OT times. Grace alone will not save anyone. Yeshua has offered us eternal life by shedding His blood for us at the cross. That is Grace. But some people will not accept it. But, by Faith we are saved. Its because we believe that He is God the Son, we accept His Grace. It has always been by Faith. Even Yeshua asked the question of when He returns to this earth would He find any Faith? If you have no faith and dont believe in Yeshuas work on the cross then you are under the law. That will be what you are judged by when you die. But, if you have Faith and believe and accept Yeshua, then you are under His grace and protection. But, Faith without works is dead. What works? There is more to it then just saying I love God, my mom, dad, friends, lost people ect.. We must act upon it. Where is the guide for this? Yes, Yeshua. But who is Yeshua. The Son of God. The word, He is The Torah, the teachings, instructions, the 10 commandments. Yeshua said if we love Him, then we would keep His commandments. Understand? Not for salvation. But the 10 commandments were not nailed to the cross. The 10 commandments do not shed blood. Yeshua did. For without the shedding of blood, there is no remission or forgiveness of sins. God was gracious and merciful to a dying world so He sent His Son. His Son, wholly submitted to the Father acted upon the Fathers will. He was obedient because He loves the Father and because He loves us. Not one jot or titl will pass away from the law. It stands forever. Yeshua paid the penalty for us , so if we sin(under law) we have Him as an advocate with the Father to plead our case for us. He is our mediator. Yeshua said if we teach men not to obey even the least of the commandments, then we will be called "least" in the Kingdom. Shalom

Hello Jewisheart, I guess you could say the same about Christmas. Right?

I will have to check him out. The true Apostles and prophets will not be sitting in elaborate church services giving feel-good messages. They will be outside the church walls crying out like John the Baptist did for all to repent for the kingdom of God is at hand. Hes coming back for a "spotless, unadulturated bride" The Main message I believe will be wake up and repent. A lot of what im hearing today by some of these so called apostles and prophets is flowerly words, prosperity preaching, table dancing and so on. The New Testament is the Apostolic scriptures. Yeshua said we would know the signs and seasons of things right before his coming. Revelations reveals a lot to us as did Yeshua while he was here. We are children of the light, darkness should not take us by suprize. If the Apostles are out there, garuntee you one thing. They will tell it like it is no matter who likes what they say or not. They will not compromise His word and will probably be hated by a lot of people. The message will probably offend most, but to those being called and being saved it will be like music to their ears. The world wont understand it, but they must be told. I do believe the watchmen are out there sounding the alarm. Let He that has an ear HEAR what the Spirit says to the churches.

Sorry borntorebel, I meant Noah found grace. But when you think about, so did a lot of the OT patriarchs. King David should have been stoned according to the law for murder and adultry. He found mercy and grace. I bet if we look hard enough in OT scripture, Gods grace (unmerited favor) is written all thruout the ages. What do you think?

I was thinking though, In Genesis it says God told Adam and Eve not to eat from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. He did create the tree didn't He? I know that God does not tempt us, but Satan is allowed to. And I know there is no temptation so great that we cannot find the way of escape because He said we could. He said He would make a way of escape for us. HallaluYah! I do know that God does Test us though, like you said, to burn off the dross and bring forth gold. I believe thru each trial and testing we endure makes us that much stronger in Him. This is a good post. It makes me dig a little deeper in scripture. Shalom All

Even though we are saved by faith we must remember that Yeshua said He did not come to destroy the law or the prophets. * The Sabbath law is not to be considered one of the ceremonial laws given to Moses. The Ten Commandments, Gods moral law, were given separately, before the ceremonial law, and were written in stone rather than in a book. *The 4th Commandment has absolutely nothing to do with RELIGIOUS activity on any certain day. In fact, it is just the opposite, a day of rest, prescribed by God. We should worship God every day. * The Sabbath was established at the time of the creation of the world. It is not the Jewish Sabbath, or the Christian Sabbath; it is Gods Sabbath. *The people were aware of Gods sabbath before the 10 commandments were given on Mt. Sinai * Yeshua talked about the Sabbath just as He did the other commandments. He elaborated upon the 4th commandment by saying that it was all right to do good on the Sabbath.HE NEVER SAID THAT THE OBSERVENCE OF THE SABBATH WAS A THING OF THE PAST, AND IN FACT SAID NOTHING WOULD CHANGE FROM THE LAW UNTIL HEAVEN AND EARTH PASSED AWAY. THAT HAS NOT HAPPENED YET. *Yeshua went on to add the following: "WHOSOEVER THEREFORE SHALL BREAK ONE OF THESE LEAST COMMANDMENTS, AND SHALL TEACH MEN SO, HE SHALL BE CALLED LEAST IN THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN; BUT WHOSOEVER SHALL DO AND TEACH THEM, THE SAME SHALL BE CALLED GREAT IN THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN". Matt 5:19 *The followers of Yeshua observed the Sabbath. The very people who walked and talked with Yeshua "rested the Sabbath day according to the commandment." We are told in the book of Acts that Paul kept the law. And in Acts 15:21, we read that the Gentile Christians were encouraged to go to the Synagogues on the Sabbath day and learn about the laws of Moses. * In Isaiah 66:22-23 we are told that the Sabbath is not just a thing of the past and that in the new heaven and the new earth the sabbath will be recognized. Here is the patience of the saints. Those that keep the commandments of God AND have the faith in Yeshua. The AND is important there in that verse. You say God is not locked into anything because it was in writing first? Who do you think wrote those 10 commands? Do the scriptures not say that He is God and changeth Not? Either He is the same yesterday today and forever or He is not correct? Why do you hate His laws Colossians? What is there about His 10 commands that you so adamently abhor? I do not understand you. You say you are a Christian, true? Why would you attack His word so? If others here say they love God and Yeshua, knowing that they are saved by His grace thru their faith, and want to please Him and acknowledge His laws have not passed away, why do you fight it so? No one here said the 10 commands saved you. We are just affirming that they to us are not done away with. If you prefer to believe that they are no longer significant, then thats between you and God. If others want to believe so, then thats between them and God. Let everyone be convinced in his own mind. I just prefer to look upon the 10 commands as being Yeshuas Holy word since He evidently wrote them. In the beginning was the Word and that Word is Yeshua.

Colossians, Yeshua DID keep the Sabbath. The Sabbath day has never changed. We are free to worship God everyday of the week. But the Sabbath day is forever. Yeshua is not seperate from the Father. He stated many times in scripture that He and the Father are One. Yeshua is the TORAH, The Word, He is our teacher, our instructer. And here is the patience of the saints: here are they that Keep the commandments of GOD, AND the Faith of Yeshua. Rev. 14:12 This really sums it up for me. Gods commandments, Faith in Yeshua, They are both inclusive. "Blessed are they that DO HIS COMMANDMENTS, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie". Rev. 22:14-15
